- On this episode we finally reignite the heart beat of the newly named ‘Black Sunrise’s body and chassis. The motor was machined thanks to Galloways Engines and assembled with all the right speed equipment from the meticulous Angus. A lick of paint and some small details she was ready to be mated to the C4 transmission and installed between the rails. Some aged aluminum valve covers and custom made Tri-power topped the engine and Gear Drives ‘Grace and CO’s air cleaners were the cherry on top. A lot more to come with Black Sunrise. Keep your eyes peeled

Hey Jordan, quick tip. Use disposable earplugs to mask the holes. They are inexpensive and they work amazingly well. Just roll em up and stuff em in the holes. Boom!
Holly shit. This is a tip of tips. Definitely going to do this!
Ben's roadster is looking SWEET!! take care.
Thanks Dale!
"It's mating season!" Ben must be losing his sh!t! Love the intake and the Cal Customs! The Josh cameos keep cracking me up, and getting me drunk! Go Bennetts Customs, keep moving forward!
Hahaha good thing you’re not driving in your living room.
That's going too be one nice roadster.
Looks great , the name really suits it too .
The roadster should hook along nicely with that warm 302 and I bet Ben cant wait test it out, it should have a resonable power to weight ratio. Cheers Greg
Definitely a good power to weight ratio. Apparently back in the day it had some serious poke
Definitely going to be a Sweet HotRod Nice job Jordan and Ben
looking great Ben, stoked for ya!
My 89 Geo Metro is Tri-powered .
With its mighty 49 HP , ( 3 cylinder ) engine.
😄
Try using foam earplugs for your threaded holes when painting. That has worked great for me.
Excellent tip!!
Roadster is looking great... Definitely needs some Hot Rod Wheels??? 😎😎
Yes! They are in the ordering process!
Hello. Jordan. It’s such a lift of the spirits when you set a motor in place. When will you leave the discs on the front or put some drum brakes there? Peanut butter on toast? Josh see if you can find a patch and get his misses to fix his work pants. And a friend that’s no longer with us used to love margarita time. Rip roger thinking of you and missing you. Take care all Tim.
Ben not when!
Discs will be going in the bin soon. Have f1 style drums for front. Still work great and don’t have the eye sore of those discs
what is the front brake system?
Love the videos...
They are ford XY. They will be replaced soon will a later F1 style drum brake
Wow looking good
Love it
Looking good! Quick question though.. what is the rotation gearbox you have on the engine stand? I’ve never seen one before, either because I’m too sheltered or it’s a custom piece? Please excuse my ignorance.
It’s common on those style engine stands- makes it a breeze to rotate
Is that the original set up for that motor were the oil pick tube is in the front of the motor and the oil pan looks like its on backwards or, did you make that mod? Tight work as always mate. 👍
Yeah it sure was! Pretty cool, the home made tri power setup is really cool!
Looking great, still strange seeing an iconic American hotrod with the steering wheel on the right.
We normally crank the engine over to put the sump on, but being waay down there in W.A. maybe it's upside-down to QLD?
Wow🤘
Luar biasa Bennetts Custom Restorasi kendaraan jaman perang dunia ke 2.👍👍

Call it “the fantasia flyer”
What the heck with the music? I wanna hear the motor roar.
