if you talk to alphys, she refers to the mayor, the one who got asgore kicked off the force, as "your [kris's] neighbor". noelle refers to herself and kris as "neighbors". implication being that noelle's mother is the mayor, and part of the slightly strained relationship rudy seems to have with his wife is both due to her being a notorious hardass and her literally firing his best friend from his job (possibly also destroying his marriage). there is some SHIT to unpack there. small town drama does not disappoint
The way Susie acts in the Weird route suggests that maybe Noelle had the guts to confess her feelings and they had a little moment, which is cute but AT WHAT COST.
I interpreted it much darker. When Susie went into Noelle's room on her own, I thought Noelle told her what had happened (Specifically the bird murder) and that Susie tried to reassure her by telling her it was just a dream, even if that wasn't the case. Main reason I thought that was just cause of how much she was trying to divert any conversation about what had happened. God, I like your interpretation more. Its so much less dark and would at least give this route a very, very thin silver lining (Even if it isn't worth it at all).

This doesn't happen if you say she's the enemy. Also, in That Route, if you unequip Noelle's Silver Watch, Kris will bring it to the Light World. Instead of their voice, Noelle will ask with panic how Kris got it.
Think it can be confirmed berdly is dead in snowgrave. In this chapter’s neutral route, berdly can fry his right wing, which then translates to a paralyzed arm in the light world. What happens in the dark world transfers to the light world, especially if any permanent damage is done
Deltarune chapter 2's snowgrave route is so creepy and unnerving because you're literally corrupting an innocent soul to do your bidding by using the excuse that she's just getting stronger. It even points out once you equip the ThornRing that she's in a trance.
And the thing is, you can't blame it on Kris. It's you that forces her. And why you might ask, well because we're curious. It's just a game after all, what bad will happen to us irl if I kill monsters in a game? Nothing. The voice that Noelle hears is probably us, the player. You, the player, forces her to kill everyone. When you think about it, you, the player, is the bad guy.
I don't really see it the same way as yours. To me, it looks more like a stockholm syndrom more than anything since Kris isn't creating her any excuses, but Noelle does. Kris only push her "a bit" to see how far she can go, but Noelle is way more pushing herself on her own in many ways.
What’s interesting about Snowgrave is some responses can make or break the run- literally, answering wrong will end it- but not with the electric wall. My friend had said “it’s natural” to encourage her murderous thoughts, I had said “it’s horrible” to guilt her for ever daring to even consider going against me.
Lancer will eat all key items you get (besides E G G) and actually have something to say about it. If you get the free sample from the shoe store, he’ll thank you for the treat. And when Queen gives you the mixtape, you can “press [his] tummy to hear a song” clicking on lancer will now play the first 3 seconds of the mixtape
When you wake up in the library, the dialog for checking the trashcan also varies between routes. A small difference in the hospital too is that normally Noelle notices Susie first, but after a snow grave run she notices Kris first
20:24 by the way, if Kris is completely incapable of killing Snowgrave Spamton Neo but Noelle can just one-hit him like it's nothing, wouldn't that mean that Noelle has become much stronger than Kris? Maybe there was something deeper to the Queen referring to Noelle as 'strong' in the normal route. Maybe it's her undiscovered talent for killing spells.
Well spamton is actually at 6% hp here so it doesn't count as if noelle one shotted him, but fun fact if you use snowgrave on spamton through cheats it will take 3 snowgraves to kill him, prob not canon but still gonna mention it
A couple more things on Weird Route: During the final convo with Noelle, you can also approach her during the dialogue and make her become VERY fearful. Also, if you inspect the toddler track playset in the lobby, it'll mention that the blue piece had been broken off (suggesting Berdly will be dead if that save is imported to chapters 3 and beyond once the game is finished).
At least that’s confirmation that the snowgrave route WILL have an effect on future chapters. It would be very unlike Toby to just brush it off, anyway
Another fun fact about the snowgrave route: if you use some glass item (i cant remember the name) in your inventory susie can be seen giving you a look of hatred in the reflection before she notices you
I’m pretty sure like someone out of these 780+ comments has mentioned this detail; During the [HYPERLINK BLOCKED] Route, more specifically the Berdly fight, Noelle’s health will cap at 55 hp (if you have the Thorn Ring), translating the number into the Roman numerical value. It is “LV” which if you recall stands for “LOVE” or better known as “Level of Violence” from UNDERTALE.
I would say robbing someone of their innocence by forcing them to commit acts of genocide believing that they are in a dream and that bending to the will of a controlling person to "get stronger" is a lot worse than you and you alone being responsible for the genocide of monsters in Undertale. And hell this is only ONE chapter that this shit is happening in so far and it's already a lot more unsettling than Undertale's genocide route was in my opinion.

During the snowgrave hospital, there are 2 others ways that it could play out: One if the player moves towards Noelle while talking to herself, and the other if Kris completes the chapter while equipping the silver watch armor taken from Noelle
I've noticed that the dialog options in Snowgrave seem to be divided between the unfeeling messages that proceed the route and things Kris might actually want to say
If you continue to chapter 2 on a file that you beat Jevil on and talk to Seam, he'll mention that Jevil gave you a shadow crystal too. Once you beat Spamton you can give seam the second shadow crystal, and he'll mention how the next boss with one will be impossible without an armor that he conveniently lost lol. If you use the shadow crystal it'll mention that you see the computer lab for a brief moment so that has some interesting implications Also, I love the double entendre that toby uses. The computer room within the lab is supposed to represent queens castle and in the normal route the flavor text almost certainly refers to the queens mech, but in snowgrave the implications are morbid.
@@RubbeUhh Seam calls it the Shadow Mantle and says "it may just look like a scrap of cloth..." It's possible it's the king's cloak but I don't really think so since Seam thought he still had it when he moved to Castle Town. It's still possible I guess though
Before the Asriel fight, Alphys says something like "It's impossible to defeat him, but I know you can do it", which the first part is very similar to what Seam says, and given the Omega Flowey reference at the end of Chapter 2, makes me wonder if the secret boss will be reminiscent of either the Omega Flowey or Asriel fight

It's also even a bit humorous and aware, to me. It's like a way of the game letting you know the rest of 'em have witnessed (or at least heard of) the atrocities you've committed, thus driving them to run for their lives.
Honestly I think Snowgrave is worse than normal genocide. Not only do you potentially cause the PERMANANT DEATH OF KRIS' CLASSMATE, the one you force to do your bidding and murder creature after creature after creature is one of the sweetest and most innocent characters in the game. I'm gonna guess that him tearing his soul out at the end of each chapter, is a way to cope with all of that stress of going into a brand new world and fighting monsters. Maybe it just causes him too much pain to get hit right in the soul. To be fair, kris is still an impressionable kid and this is just my guess for now, so we'll see as the chapters progress.

When talking to noelle in the hospital after the snow grave route there are two other scenes, one if you have her watch equipped where she asks "Why are you wearing my watch, when did you....." where you can say *in your dream* or nothing. the other is where you walk closer to her by pressing the movement keys, where if you keep moving closer she gets scared of you.
If you hug Ralsei for the swan boat ride picture, then do the secret Spamton NEO fight, Ralsei will hug Kris during the conversation that happens upon trying to leave the basement.
Toby is so good at capturing music. if you just listen to the music without seeing the cutscene at 22:45 , your brain immediately knows the song is evil-like
the music reminds me of something from early into drawn to life, back when the village was still empty and the only available area was snowy. seems extremely fitting.
From what ive heard, kriss has goosebumps after the fight with Spamtom, spamtom was alive and can somehow move freely with strings attached, once those got removed he was nothing, powerless, and quite lifeless, kris can relate to that since kris is controlled, by us, by choosing no after the dialogue with susie, kris will scream having an actual emotion you didnt choose to do so. They say that Kris is dead or is nothing without the player.
one little thing you might missed: When you beat Berdly at the roller coaster section, Berdly does a Sonic-like death animation (when he fells out of his thing)

There’s an odd Easter I managed to randomly get when spamton was transferring, about halfway through the game force crashed. And when I went to open it back up spamton’s face greeted me, which then exploded into the normal menu. It was quite odd and I haven’t heard anyone else mentioning it. So I thought I’d bring it up.
In older versions of the Ch.2 demo, the game crashes due to a known bug if a key is pressed during the transfer. But the other part could be an unknown bug due to the crash being abrupt.
@@SgvSth that definitely could be possible, did the known bug have spamton’s name in the crash log? I vaguely remember that when it crashed I saw spamton’s name in the crash window.
3:40 interesting thing I found when I did the snowgrave route. I tried to get the egg for a long time, unless I just have terrible luck and it didn't show in 10 minutes of walking back and forth, it just does not appear in the snowgrave route. I slightly wonder if future runs will have similar routes with big game changing events, and their eggs won't be there either, which would lead me to think that maybe, whatever they do in the long run, is totally irrelevant in these alternate "genocide" style routes. If they are truly Gaster eggs, maybe he is not pleased with the direction you take on that route and therefore will not show up if you are on one. I truly do think we will see more routes like snowgrave though, if you do a genocide like normal and just murder everything, the ending does not change much, some people have worse opinions of you, but otherwise, no major changes (dont merc spamton though or you cant challenge neo, you can then attack neo and he instead gives you a scarf that is on par with Jevil's Devil's knife axe in strength, kind of crazy for Ralsei to hit that hard but meh)
Interacting with the basket of fruit closest to Sans in his Supermarket, it’ll say “Grapes, melons, oranges, and the scent of fresh pineapples…” This reminded me of something, more specifically the order of the items. So I checked, and it is most likely a reference to the DK Rap. While “Pineapple Smells” occurs first, “Grapes, Melons, Oranges” occurs in exactly the same order in the Rap. I haven’t seen anyone talk about this.
This is a very cool video! I didn’t know many of the Easter eggs in here, including the snow grave route. I do think one cool Easter egg should have been added in the town: if you interact with undyne in some way (I forget specifically how I did it) she will bang the table and the key will fly to the prison cell, releasing all prisoners.
So. While I was running snowgrave route, before I knew about pacifist SPAMTON NEO, while in the castle, I found the basement. Somehow. I didn’t have the keygen, I didn’t do any of the steps. And when I interacted with the door, it said something along the lines of “Hey, it’s rude to come in while someone’s changing forms!” I can’t remember how I got there. It was on the first version of the game, I know it was changed because of the scene at the closet with Noelle. In the day 1 ver. You never get the lunchbox of chalk. ISN’T THAT [Hyperlink Blocked]
I didn't make it super clear in the video but while on the snow grave route there is no need for the Keygen as the path to the basement door is already open when you get there.
the chalk wasn't added in an update, the cutscene can only be seen if you continue a save from chapter 1 where you talked to noelle at the end and told her susie likes chalk
A bonus I haven't seen anyone bring up yet: In the "room between", while going back and forth after the moss room by the cars, the area theme re-loops after every time you go through, which it doesn't do in most areas. This looping sounds vaguely like the first part of Gaster's theme. Try it out and see if I'm right, or just hearing things lmao
23:14, also if you unequip her watch and put it on kris in the other world, she notices it and asks frantically how Kris got her watch, to which I think you can reply "in your dream" or something like that
Also if you place the blue bird that is part of the puzzle under Falco- I mean Berdly, he says something similar to this, "Stop taunting me with that Blue bird, your lucky this isn't online or you wouldn't be able to taunt" possibly referencing to smashbros

The ending of ch 2 had me thinking and speculating a lot. Why do I feel that we're the bad guy? I kind of get Baten Kaitos vibes. Like we're a guardian spirit in a sense. But I feel that might not be it. Since Kris realizes what's going on and so do the others. And the reason we have so much influence over Noelle is because she's clueless. It's like Toby wants us to feel bad for corrupting our little Deer friend. And it further proves that we don't really "control" Kris they're just following our directions for now. Alsop I'll be happy if we get Toriel as a party member in ch.3 >3
My take of what Toby wants to make us experience through this game is that: “You are a guess in this kid’s world AND body. You can live a new experience literally through this kid named Kris. They have their own urgency and free will in an indefinite suspension because of you. And now you have full control of his body...and fate. What now? What would the player do? Would you make them do your biding ‘just for fun’? Making them do and say incongruous things to their own personality? And if you do, are you doing it for their own good...or yours?” My prediction is that Kris will, thorough the rest of the chapters, evaluate if having us controlling their body was really something bad. There are choices that we can make for Kris that they do agree with (like NOT taking the money from Asriel’s drawer, saying “No” after the Spamton fight, and saying that you want to go to the festival with Susie) so I’m seeing Toby using some of those dialogue options to carry on into the next Chapters
We now know that kris is the “knight” so what I think is that we’re the lightner think about it the legend said a human a monster and a prince maybe we are the human since we’re controlling kris

I find it interesting that Noelle is the only person to notice (it is implied that she would feel this way outside of Snowgrave) that Kris has changed, it makes me so excited to see where her character goes, since her, Kris and Ralsei seem to be the only major characters who’s character arcs don’t seem to be over yet.
The Sweet Cap’n Cakes are a reference to Strong Bad Email (Sbemail) #72 “Crazy Cartoon”, where Strong Bad is asked what his idea for a crazy cartoon would be. He makes up a nonsensical cartoon called “Sweet Cuppin’ Cakes”, where one of the supporting characters has Strong Bad’s body and a Casio keyboard for a head, and blares the keyboard’s demo when he gets mad. K_K plays a similar song to the angry demo the Strong Bad Casio-head guy plays. “Sweet Cuppin’ Cakes” is also the theme of the imaginary mini-golf course the Homestar Runner cast visits-called “Sweet Puttin’ Cakes”-in Sbemail #174 “Mini-Golf”.

I don't know if anyone's already spoken abt this before, but if you approach the locked red bunker-like doors to the utmost south of town, there is actually music or at least, sound effects that gradually grow quieter if you move away from the doors. I don't quite know if it had a melody, but it definitely comes from whatever is inside.
Yeah after chapter 2's ending I'm like 80% sure he's the knight... Though I'm not sure why he went and slashed Toriel's tires, unless that's bait and switch and he was just eating the food she left in the car and somebody else did that. Chapter 1 did something like that after all.

this is not really a easter egg but a cool interaction. when ralsei ask you to go and get the ball of junk from the other classroom and you go and put it on your head, instead of going back into the closet, you go back down to see alphys and toriel talking about kris. edit: another easter egg I completely forgot is the one where if you make kris jiggle for werewire they do the dance from the intro from season 2 of konosuba. please correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's were its from.
You can also call right after the Alphys/Toriel interaction, in which Kris will tell Toriel theyre "Normal", and then tell her about going to the library afterwards
That song that plays before you fight Berdly in the snowgrave route shares the same motif as the Merry CD song in Omori, which is also a song he composed.

I think Kris' reaction to Spamton NEO's defeat is related to the fact that Kris is trying to rip their soul out. I think their soul represents the player's control over their actions and as a result, Spamton's defeat hits hard.
Imagine if in the chapter's 3 secret boss fight song there will be a leti of Big Shot and The World Revolving, and then the songs get progressively more letis from the other secret bosses
One thing I've never seen anyone mention: the name "Sweet Cap'n Cakes" is likely a nod to Homestar Runner. In one sbemail, Strong Bag creates a strange cartoon he calls "Sweet Cuppin' Cakes," and that cartoon is referenced in a few other animations on the site, and has its own main page theme as well.
You can give the shadow crystal from both the cliff and neo bossfight to the guy who imprisoned Jevil, he will say some voice lines about defeating powerful beings if done before the neo fight, he will also say something along the lines of “there might be other powerful enmities like the 2 you have already faced, some unbeatable under any measures besides the veil of darkness “ he then proceeds to take your shadow crystals and make the viel but then says he lost it and “oh well,not like we stood much of a chance anyways”
i hope we can get another "weird route" using toriel and burning undyne since coincidentally, undyne is defeated in HOT lands in undertale pacifist route, we might also get "fireshock" from noelle's video game like she gets iceshock

What’s interesting about Snowgrave is some responses can make or break the run- literally, answering wrong will end it- but not with the electric wall. My friend had said “it’s natural” to encourage her murderous thoughts, I had said “it’s horrible” to guilt her for ever daring to even consider going against me.
Disclaimer for future watchers: either dialogue choices for Noelle’s murderous thought wouldn’t abort the route.
You didn't NEED to include a minute long AMV for the secret boss track, but you did it anyway, and I couldn't be more pleased.

Lancer will eat all key items you get (besides E G G) and actually have something to say about it. If you get the free sample from the shoe store, he’ll thank you for the treat. And when Queen gives you the mixtape, you can “press [his] tummy to hear a song” clicking on lancer will now play the first 3 seconds of the mixtape
When you wake up in the library, the dialog for checking the trashcan also varies between routes.
A small difference in the hospital too is that normally Noelle notices Susie first, but after a snow grave run she notices Kris first

20:24 by the way, if Kris is completely incapable of killing Snowgrave Spamton Neo but Noelle can just one-hit him like it's nothing, wouldn't that mean that Noelle has become much stronger than Kris? Maybe there was something deeper to the Queen referring to Noelle as 'strong' in the normal route. Maybe it's her undiscovered talent for killing spells.
Well spamton is actually at 6% hp here so it doesn't count as if noelle one shotted him, but fun fact if you use snowgrave on spamton through cheats it will take 3 snowgraves to kill him, prob not canon but still gonna mention it
A couple more things on Weird Route: During the final convo with Noelle, you can also approach her during the dialogue and make her become VERY fearful. Also, if you inspect the toddler track playset in the lobby, it'll mention that the blue piece had been broken off (suggesting Berdly will be dead if that save is imported to chapters 3 and beyond once the game is finished).

During the [HYPERLINK BLOCKED] Route, more specifically the Berdly fight, Noelle’s health will cap at 55 hp (if you have the Thorn Ring), translating the number into the Roman numerical value.
It is “LV” which if you recall stands for “LOVE” or better known as “Level of Violence” from UNDERTALE.

Man this 'Snowgrave Route' sounds just as gut - wrenching as the Genocide Route in Undertale, when you narrate it like that.
I would say robbing someone of their innocence by forcing them to commit acts of genocide believing that they are in a dream and that bending to the will of a controlling person to "get stronger" is a lot worse than you and you alone being responsible for the genocide of monsters in Undertale. And hell this is only ONE chapter that this shit is happening in so far and it's already a lot more unsettling than Undertale's genocide route was in my opinion.

During the snowgrave hospital, there are 2 others ways that it could play out: One if the player moves towards Noelle while talking to herself, and the other if Kris completes the chapter while equipping the silver watch armor taken from Noelle

If you continue to chapter 2 on a file that you beat Jevil on and talk to Seam, he'll mention that Jevil gave you a shadow crystal too. Once you beat Spamton you can give seam the second shadow crystal, and he'll mention how the next boss with one will be impossible without an armor that he conveniently lost lol.
If you use the shadow crystal it'll mention that you see the computer lab for a brief moment so that has some interesting implications
Also, I love the double entendre that toby uses. The computer room within the lab is supposed to represent queens castle and in the normal route the flavor text almost certainly refers to the queens mech, but in snowgrave the implications are morbid.

Before the Asriel fight, Alphys says something like "It's impossible to defeat him, but I know you can do it", which the first part is very similar to what Seam says, and given the Omega Flowey reference at the end of Chapter 2, makes me wonder if the secret boss will be reminiscent of either the Omega Flowey or Asriel fight

Honestly I think Snowgrave is worse than normal genocide. Not only do you potentially cause the PERMANANT DEATH OF KRIS' CLASSMATE, the one you force to do your bidding and murder creature after creature after creature is one of the sweetest and most innocent characters in the game. Not only do you kill, but you corrupt the innocent to think like you

I'm gonna guess that him tearing his soul out at the end of each chapter, is a way to cope with all of that stress of going into a brand new world and fighting monsters. Maybe it just causes him too much pain to get hit right in the soul. To be fair, kris is still an impressionable kid and this is just my guess for now, so we'll see as the chapters progress.

When talking to noelle in the hospital after the snow grave route there are two other scenes, one if you have her watch equipped where she asks "Why are you wearing my watch, when did you....." where you can say *in your dream* or nothing. the other is where you walk closer to her by pressing the movement keys, where if you keep moving closer she gets scared of you.
If you hug Ralsei for the swan boat ride picture, then do the secret Spamton NEO fight, Ralsei will hug Kris during the conversation that happens upon trying to leave the basement.

From what ive heard, kriss has goosebumps after the fight with Spamtom, spamtom was alive and can somehow move freely with strings attached, once those got removed he was nothing, powerless, and quite lifeless, kris can relate to that since kris is controlled, by us, by choosing no after the dialogue with susie, kris will scream having an actual emotion you didnt choose to do so. They say that Kris is dead or is nothing without the player.

There’s an odd Easter I managed to randomly get when spamton was transferring, about halfway through the game force crashed. And when I went to open it back up spamton’s face greeted me, which then exploded into the normal menu. It was quite odd and I haven’t heard anyone else mentioning it. So I thought I’d bring it up.

In older versions of the Ch.2 demo, the game crashes due to a known bug if a key is pressed during the transfer. But the other part could be an unknown bug due to the crash being abrupt.

3:40 interesting thing I found when I did the snowgrave route. I tried to get the egg for a long time, unless I just have terrible luck and it didn't show in 10 minutes of walking back and forth, it just does not appear in the snowgrave route. I slightly wonder if future runs will have similar routes with big game changing events, and their eggs won't be there either, which would lead me to think that maybe, whatever they do in the long run, is totally irrelevant in these alternate "genocide" style routes. If they are truly Gaster eggs, maybe he is not pleased with the direction you take on that route and therefore will not show up if you are on one.
I truly do think we will see more routes like snowgrave though, if you do a genocide like normal and just murder everything, the ending does not change much, some people have worse opinions of you, but otherwise, no major changes (dont merc spamton though or you cant challenge neo, you can then attack neo and he instead gives you a scarf that is on par with Jevil's Devil's knife axe in strength, kind of crazy for Ralsei to hit that hard but meh)
Interacting with the basket of fruit closest to Sans in his Supermarket, it’ll say “Grapes, melons, oranges, and the scent of fresh pineapples…”
This reminded me of something, more specifically the order of the items. So I checked, and it is most likely a reference to the DK Rap. While “Pineapple Smells” occurs first, “Grapes, Melons, Oranges” occurs in exactly the same order in the Rap. I haven’t seen anyone talk about this.

This is a very cool video! I didn’t know many of the Easter eggs in here, including the snow grave route. I do think one cool Easter egg should have been added in the town: if you interact with undyne in some way (I forget specifically how I did it) she will bang the table and the key will fly to the prison cell, releasing all prisoners.
So.
While I was running snowgrave route, before I knew about pacifist SPAMTON NEO, while in the castle, I found the basement. Somehow. I didn’t have the keygen, I didn’t do any of the steps. And when I interacted with the door, it said something along the lines of “Hey, it’s rude to come in while someone’s changing forms!”
I can’t remember how I got there.
It was on the first version of the game, I know it was changed because of the scene at the closet with Noelle. In the day 1 ver. You never get the lunchbox of chalk.

A bonus I haven't seen anyone bring up yet: In the "room between", while going back and forth after the moss room by the cars, the area theme re-loops after every time you go through, which it doesn't do in most areas. This looping sounds vaguely like the first part of Gaster's theme. Try it out and see if I'm right, or just hearing things lmao

The ending of ch 2 had me thinking and speculating a lot. Why do I feel that we're the bad guy? I kind of get Baten Kaitos vibes. Like we're a guardian spirit in a sense. But I feel that might not be it. Since Kris realizes what's going on and so do the others. And the reason we have so much influence over Noelle is because she's clueless. It's like Toby wants us to feel bad for corrupting our little Deer friend. And it further proves that we don't really "control" Kris they're just following our directions for now. Alsop I'll be happy if we get Toriel as a party member in ch.3 >3
My take of what Toby wants to make us experience through this game is that: “You are a guess in this kid’s world AND body. You can live a new experience literally through this kid named Kris. They have their own urgency and free will in an indefinite suspension because of you. And now you have full control of his body...and fate. What now? What would the player do? Would you make them do your biding ‘just for fun’? Making them do and say incongruous things to their own personality? And if you do, are you doing it for their own good...or yours?”
My prediction is that Kris will, thorough the rest of the chapters, evaluate if having us controlling their body was really something bad. There are choices that we can make for Kris that they do agree with (like NOT taking the money from Asriel’s drawer, saying “No” after the Spamton fight, and saying that you want to go to the festival with Susie) so I’m seeing Toby using some of those dialogue options to carry on into the next Chapters
We now know that kris is the “knight” so what I think is that we’re the lightner think about it the legend said a human a monster and a prince maybe we are the human since we’re controlling kris

I find it interesting that Noelle is the only person to notice (it is implied that she would feel this way outside of Snowgrave) that Kris has changed, it makes me so excited to see where her character goes, since her, Kris and Ralsei seem to be the only major characters who’s character arcs don’t seem to be over yet.
The Sweet Cap’n Cakes are a reference to Strong Bad Email (Sbemail) #72 “Crazy Cartoon”, where Strong Bad is asked what his idea for a crazy cartoon would be. He makes up a nonsensical cartoon called “Sweet Cuppin’ Cakes”, where one of the supporting characters has Strong Bad’s body and a Casio keyboard for a head, and blares the keyboard’s demo when he gets mad. K_K plays a similar song to the angry demo the Strong Bad Casio-head guy plays. “Sweet Cuppin’ Cakes” is also the theme of the imaginary mini-golf course the Homestar Runner cast visits-called “Sweet Puttin’ Cakes”-in Sbemail #174 “Mini-Golf”.

I don't know if anyone's already spoken abt this before, but if you approach the locked red bunker-like doors to the utmost south of town, there is actually music or at least, sound effects that gradually grow quieter if you move away from the doors. I don't quite know if it had a melody, but it definitely comes from whatever is inside.

I think Kris' reaction to Spamton NEO's defeat is related to the fact that Kris is trying to rip their soul out. I think their soul represents the player's control over their actions and as a result, Spamton's defeat hits hard.
Imagine if in the chapter's 3 secret boss fight song there will be a leti of Big Shot and The World Revolving, and then the songs get progressively more letis from the other secret bosses

You can give the shadow crystal from both the cliff and neo bossfight to the guy who imprisoned Jevil, he will say some voice lines about defeating powerful beings if done before the neo fight, he will also say something along the lines of “there might be other powerful enmities like the 2 you have already faced, some unbeatable under any measures besides the veil of darkness “ he then proceeds to take your shadow crystals and make the viel but then says he lost it and “oh well,not like we stood much of a chance anyways”
I like the new "Snowgrave" route. I wonder what will it be like in future chapters
i hope we can get another "weird route" using toriel and burning undyne since coincidentally, undyne is defeated in HOT lands in undertale pacifist route, we might also get "fireshock" from noelle's video game like she gets iceshock

if you equip Noelle's silver watch on Kris while you still had the chance back in the dark world, it'll appear as a wristwatch in the real world, which she will comment on if you were still wearing it after sealing the fountain. She will hesitantly ask Kris why they're wearing her wristwatch.
