Scott would be positively giddy to learn that you thought his Italian was pronounced well. He tries really hard to get it right when they sing non-English lyrics.
If you want to see a live Pentatonix performance with a huge crowd going wild , this may be the one for you ..'Joyful, Joyful' from their Evergreen Christmas tour ua-cam.com/video/Us8Px4PAsjw/v-deo.html
This is the song that turned me into an instant Pentaholic (and also, let’s be honest, Mitch-aholic 💜)!! They are amazing live! I've been blessed to see them in concert twice. “Five-tet” works for me 😁.
They are perfection! Their live performances are even more magical. I get to go see them again in June. Definitely react to Kiss from a rose and o holy night.
To see them perform live check out the Livestream from the hollywood bowl concert in 2022. Mitch is a natural counter tenor and an hits notes as high as most first sopranos . he also has a beautiful lower register. the group just doesn't mush up the words. The sing them clearly and with emotion. They have no egos and whoever sings the best get s that part of a song. Even Kevin the vocal percussionist has a beautiful tenor voice. Loved your reaction.
You've just been Mitch-slapped! That is what we Pentaholics (Pentatonix fans) say when someone hears and gets surprised by Mitch Grassi's beautiful high notes 1:23. Thank you for reacting to this, and hope you can react to more Pentatonix videos.
YES, THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL SONG BY PENTATONIX !!! HOWEVER ALL OF THEIR SONGS ARE WONDERFUL !!! THEY ARE AWESOME !!! A DAILY PART OF MY LIFE FOR SURE !!! WE ARE SO BLESSED TO HAVE THEM !!!
My daughter went to see them when Avi was still part of the group. I didn't go but when I came back to get her, I was waiting across the street at a record store and I was astounded at how amazing they sounded even from outside. Also, at least with Avi, I was kind of afraid that the bass was going to break the windows, they were shaking so hard.... It was an older building so probably was a possibility.
You would probably enjoy "The Recording of Evergreen". It's a longer video, about 17 minutes, but it's a short documentary of part of their recording process for the album that this piece was on. You get to see them interacting as they arrange, practice, and record this song as well as others on the Evergreen album. Seeing them live in person is also an amazing experience. I've seen them 3 times in concert. Touring this year is limited (some much needed down time after 13-14 months of a very heavy tour schedule), but I have no doubt they will pick it up again over the next couple years.
Loved your reaction!! It is always fun to watch new reactors to this group. By the way, Mitch, Scott and Kirsti grew up in the same town in Texas, USA and started singing together in school. I am looking forward to other reviews you have done. Hi from Florida, USA!!
New here from Ireland can you react to pentatonix. A kiss from a rose is live. Sing. La la latch. New rules. The sound of silence. Love again. Gold . Havana. Pompeii. Perfume medley. Can you feel the love tonight. Also superfruit with scott and mitch from pentatonix they sing the promise. Rise. Beyonce. Frozen with bloopers. Hip hop 1.2 with bloopers. Future friends. Guy exe.. Scott hoying and mario jose lost on you
hey, thanks for the comment! I've just reacted to kiss from a rose, it was amazing! I hope you'll check it out and share your opinion :) I will check out the rest pretty soon
E tutto acappella! Sono miraculosi. Ti raccomando 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'Daft Punk Medley', 'Coffee In Bed' (live version from a late night show), and the most recent, their live cover of 'Kiss of a Rose' by Seal.

Mitch Grassi is that rarest of male singers, a natural counter tenor. with a voice spans 6 octaves and 1 tone, from A1 to B7. There are a few fan recording from concerts of this, suggest ua-cam.com/video/LNGAdGu3uKg/v-deo.html
Look for the live Vevo recordings of "Kiss From a Rose" and "Pure Imagination/Christmas Time is Here." Both are available on UA-cam. And this is a live feed from the Hollywood Bowl of a recent performance of "Hallelujah": ua-cam.com/video/FqphhPapkoc/v-deo.htmlsi=tC6Ew07JGeQKQvDL In general, search UA-cam for anything matching "PTX live feed"; you can add the name of a song if you like. The words "live feed" will give you good recordings from concerts.
If you didn't notice, you can catch Kevin singing between beat boxing beats! He slides back & forth seamlessly! He has a beautiful high tenor voice & he is actually one of those two high notes at the very end of the song! Very talented individual. 😊BTW - I just subbed!
Mitch is a natural contratenor with a range of just over six octaves, and is primarily known for his ethereal high vocals; he was the perfect choice to take Celine Dion's part in this song. Scott doesn't speak Italian; he had to learn this by rote, and he worked very hard to get the pronunciation right. I'm glad to hear that he succeeded. Most pentaholics believe this song should have won Pentatonix their fourth Grammy, and are bewildered that it wasn't even nominated, but the reason is simple. It is the responsibility of the music publisher, in this case RCA, to submit a song to the Academy in a timely manner, and somebody at RCA wasn't paying attention. It was never submitted, so it was never even considered. And if I sound angry about that it's only because I am.
@@LindaVernon Bad decision, in both cases. This year, Scott said that they didn't expect to win, because holiday albums DON'T win in general best album categories. "Evergreen" (the album) had ONE Grammy-worthy song on it; "The Prayer" could have won in a single song category but it was unreasonable to expect the entire album to win based on just one song, especially since Scott's statement about holiday albums applies to "Evergreen" as much as to "Holidays Around the World." I hope they have better sense this year. "The Greatest Christmas Hits" has three Grammy-worthy songs on it: "Kiss From a Rose," "O Holy Night," and "Pure Imagination / Christmas Time is Here." Any one of them might win, on its own. But are they enough to put an entire COMPILATION holiday album over the line? I seriously doubt it.
Ive seen them 2Xs live hoping this yr will be 3. My favorite group, theyre so great but live theyre AMAZING. Cant go wrong with anything by them. So keep having fun . .
Check out their Pop Spring performance - live on the stage!
They are amazing live. If the opportunity arises , you should definitely go. And they are so funny too.
Scott would be positively giddy to learn that you thought his Italian was pronounced well. He tries really hard to get it right when they sing non-English lyrics.
He definetely nailed it!
Scott has quite an ear for dialects, they have songs with Spanish, Italian, French, Korean. They were robbed of the Grammy on this one.
also japanese!
@@Korbin_Arts I always forget that one. I don't think I've heard it.
@@robinmcdaniel5881 it’s called Pretender. They only ever perform it in Japan
Yes they were robbed two years in a row
@@patbrewer4205That may be because they have been submitting whole albums rather than single songs. 🙂

Stunning
Great reaction. Listening to Pentatonix is literally like listening to a choir of angels.

The Sound of Sikence and O Come All Ye Faithful
I've seen them live six times!! I love it every time. Can't wait to see them again. Love PTX!!!
Me too! Live is awesome!
They sound exactly the same live. Loved your reaction.

The English word for a musical group composed of five people is "quintet."

That means a lot to me ! Thank you veyr much for your support!
You just got "Mitch slapped"!!!
Check out their cover of Papaoutai. Scott sings in French.
Or The Perfume Medley in Japanese!
They did a version of this song on America Got Talent, but with the little girl contestant sang Mitch/ Celine Dionne’s part.
Recommend their cover of My Favorite Things.
