The crazy thing is that Bubba Ray has a diehard fan base due to Busted Open. I'm not cancel culture or anything and look at the prism that many people are product of their time (if you committed a crime regardless of era you should be held accountable) but he hasn't learnt anything and I mean anything. This argument of this generation is soft is B.S. when it comes to him. He's been a terrible person then and still is now. I shouldn't be stunned that he is a personality who "speaks his mind" so many people listen to him. It's just disturbing.
Busted open with Lagreca and Bully is everything that is wrong with wrestling, Dave yells and screams at his callers and lectures everyone about being toxic. Bully shits on everything that involves tables or a pile driver but says he keeps it honest. The best is Lagreca suspending Tommy Dreamer for standing up for Ric Flair when he Is the biggest Ric Flair mark. I like Tommy and Mark Henry, but to much old carnie bs otherwise.
I met Paul along with Biohazard when they were doing a show at Splash Town in San Antonio, TX back in the early 00's. Was bullshitting with them in line for a couple of the water slides. Pretty cool dudes.
Bully ray was a great character as the leader of the aces and eights! Great heal and it is a shame WWE didn't see him or Devon as singles wrestlers. I thought they were entertaining, but it is a shame if they were not decent human beings which is more important, but don't discredit their talent either
Way back when.. 2003 I was a young boy in the industry.... jobbing put to teams in dark matches... so we're in Worcester mass. Backlash ppv .. wwe. My tag partner John and I were in the ring brought in to help rehearse spots.. set up the ring too. Hunter was respectful and pretty decent. Jericho and booker were very helpful. Then we got in the ring with Mark the self mark and Dvon . Devon is a light worker. Gives just enough to keep the ball rolling and to look realistic. So we bumped around for him like a pin ball machine.. Mark the self Mark Dudley entered the ring.. Proceed to smack us both around all the way back to Dudley ville. Uttering such gems as "ya both are tomato cans...scrubs..little pricks " I mean dude... wtf can you do in that position?? Your job guys... We fight back but get the cold shoulder for doing so...backstage.. So yeah unfortunately.. Its not am isolated incident with the Duds ...
Bubba knew the locker room and in ring politics and he learned a lot form his friend Paul E Dangerously. Bubba learned a lot from Dreamer too, all them guys hung out behind the scenes of ECW. All the inside info of WCW and WWF filtered around ECW it had to of because the talent would jump around a lot back then.

Paul seems cool, but turning down a drink from the Undertaker cause you don't drink, then doing a shot with Jamie Noble? Really bad move, lol. Sounds like he paid for it though, 500 bucks.
Right? Just order a coke and appreciate that one of the most respected people in the business wants it know your name and go outa his way to make your feel welcomed. No wonder that rubbed people the wrong way, even if unintended, especially since he went to bars and clearly isn't someone who never drinks.
It would only even remotely be excusable if Paul was a recovering alcoholic or something. Doesn't seem to be the case going by what he said. A legend offers you a drink, you take it. I'm just a fan who isn't even in the business and I know as much. I don't blame Bubba at all.

Rene Dupree and Paul London do not and I repeat, DO NOT GIVE A F*** about CM Chumps hot air promo...they don't give a damn about what he has to whine about because he came up in the locker room from 2006 onwards when the backstage stuff wasn't as bad to the point he was walking around in the WWECW locker room calling himself the locker room leader and tried to act like one to Rene who literally brushed him right off....CM Punk would have been a jobber in the Attitude and early Ruthless Agression era because they would have hazed the living s*** out of him

Ecw really didn't have to many tag teams or team that stayed together that long, they did good in WWF/E during the Attitude era because everything was hard-core this and that and ECW was still fresh in people's mind. But title wins really doesn't make you the greatest, I don't feel Ric Flair is the greatest of all time. Ric wrestled the same match for 40 years, Bret Hart or HBK or even William Regel could out wrestle him and put on a better show. Goldberg and Warrior are two of the biggest names in the business but let's faces the facts neither could out wrestle a wrestler.
Believe it or not, some pretty women purposely marry unattractive men cause they know ugly dudes have less options & are less likely to cheat.
@@timothycrawford3476 That always annoyed me. Like how come the black guy always gotta go get the tables?.. But maybe that's why Devon was always in better shape, cause Bubba lazy af.
Darn, I always thought Bubba Dudley was great in the ring. I didn't know there were so many bad stories about him being a jerk backstage. What a shame.
he was a sick fuck as his gimmick what do you expect. i always felt like the real man behind the character was an asshole so thats why he's so entertaining.
Well Chris Benoit was great in the ring but he's also a murderer. You can separate the worker from the person. It's not hard.
honestly, couldnt care less, Dudley boyz are still my favourite staple in wrestling.
@@coltonwilkie241 Maybe so, but I don't feel the same watching his old wrestling matches today compared to when I watched them back in 1997. I almost feel guilty watching the man on TV now.
It sucks to find out that the funny table man I loved as a kid is a complete asshole. But it also isn't that surprising, I guess.
This clip has just begun my journey into this podcast, things for the authenticity from yours & Pauls side.
Did I hear him call him Blubber Dudley 😄😁
@@chrisclifford2865 Mark Henry?
I met Paul along with Biohazard when they were doing a show at Splash Town in San Antonio, TX back in the early 00's. Was bullshitting with them in line for a couple of the water slides. Pretty cool dudes.
What a fun, weird and oddly-specific situation to meet the man😅
I've never heard a good story about buh bah Dudley tho everyone seems to like d von lol
Bully ray was a great character as the leader of the aces and eights! Great heal and it is a shame WWE didn't see him or Devon as singles wrestlers. I thought they were entertaining, but it is a shame if they were not decent human beings which is more important, but don't discredit their talent either
Big fat guys are always the biggest bullies.
Jamie was pretty memorable character
Rene Dupree,Paul London, mark jindrak sylvain grenier were some of the wwe wrestlers who I only saw in the smackdown Vs raw 2006 game that's it 😅
Bruh they were all over Smackdown back when it was good with Angle and Guerrero on top.
cmon now, we all know bubba was the eric cartman of pro wrestling. give em a break
HAHAHAHAHAHA got me fucked up 😂 jabba the hut ass tongue lmao 🤣 i gotta see the full episode for this asap!
Renee and Paul
Seem like cool guys
Paul London is great. The salt and pepper look looks good on him! Keep keeping it real, brotha!
Uttering such gems as "ya both are tomato cans...scrubs..little pricks "
I mean dude... wtf can you do in that position?? Your job guys...
We fight back but get the cold shoulder for doing so...backstage..
So yeah unfortunately..
Its not am isolated incident with the Duds ...
sometimes hearing stories like that it makes me think people who volunteer to job for these nuts are foolish
Really cool video! Always had major respect for Paul London the guy has all the tools to be a big money star! seems to be a genuinely good guy…. which probably hurt him since Pro Wrestling is a lot like High school
I love this unfiltered podcast man! René looks surprised as Paul is telling stories that he was there for though 🤣
Damn Paul going in on him Paul is a good wrestler too him and Brian Kendrick were an awesome tag team they were like when u par rocket fuel and nos together
I bet Paul audition for Superman for “Superman Returns”
Even if Paul & Rene had been romantically-involved and out on a date on that beach, what the fuck would it have had to do with Bubba anyway? He's just jealous they're both out of his league in every sense of the phrase.
LMAO Naked Rico just running past them into shark infested waters.
Undertaker lol. The fucking DON.
Paul London with the 🫖
Paul seems cool, but turning down a drink from the Undertaker cause you don't drink, then doing a shot with Jamie Noble? Really bad move, lol. Sounds like he paid for it though, 500 bucks.
I mean, how do you refuse a drink from Taker, tho? Not old school at all
Andre: "What are you having?"..."oh, no thanks, boss..." What would have happened?
Right? Just order a coke and appreciate that one of the most respected people in the business wants it know your name and go outa his way to make your feel welcomed. No wonder that rubbed people the wrong way, even if unintended, especially since he went to bars and clearly isn't someone who never drinks.
this london guy strikes me as a know it all with soft skin. couldnt even tolerate him speaking in this interview, but maybe i'm terrible who knows
It would only even remotely be excusable if Paul was a recovering alcoholic or something. Doesn't seem to be the case going by what he said. A legend offers you a drink, you take it. I'm just a fan who isn't even in the business and I know as much. I don't blame Bubba at all.
Americans don't drink it's basically why they left Europe because we are all constantly drunk north to south east to west whisky to wine vodka 2 cerveza lol but Americans like to pretend to be healthy lol keyword pretend. if a European guy refuses a drink in that situation there probably an alcoholic or a small child there is no other reason a recovering alcoholic is someone who has realised they do need drink somebody who lives in denial of alcohol is silly everything in moderation Irish moderation not evangelical lunatic moderation.
Bubba caught lightning in a bottle with the table nonsense. Take away the tables and there’s nothing to the Dudleys.
he doesnt age like rtruth
He's just 42 tho, it's kinda weird thinking about how young he is considering he's been wrestling for so long
R-truth probably drank from the same fountain of youth as Christopher Daniels
from about 4:10 to 5:30 Rene looks like he forgot he was doing a podcast and started reading some very dull material that suddenly got verrrrrrrrry small and then SO SHOCKING!
Bubba Rey Mysterio
So that’s how bubba ray got his first and only main event match kissing up to undertaker
Mid 00's WWE sounds like it was a complete nightmare. I remember at the time thinking the product was turning bad and something wasn't right any more. Turns out all that toxic backstage stuff was just making its way into the product on screen in roundabout ways. I guess it finally spilled over when it came to the likes of CM Punk who reacted to all this shit explosively. The likes of the Pipe Bomb must have been music to these guys ears.
Rene Dupree and Paul London do not and I repeat, DO NOT GIVE A F*** about CM Chumps hot air promo...they don't give a damn about what he has to whine about because he came up in the locker room from 2006 onwards when the backstage stuff wasn't as bad to the point he was walking around in the WWECW locker room calling himself the locker room leader and tried to act like one to Rene who literally brushed him right off....CM Punk would have been a jobber in the Attitude and early Ruthless Agression era because they would have hazed the living s*** out of him
@@codesm96 alright
Thank you Paul. Without you my group The Upper Klass Klownz wouldnt exist. Flowers
i’ve never seen Bubba spelled “Buh Buh” lmao
old ecw spelling.
its spelled like that in wwf no mercy on n64 and some of the early smackdown playstation1 games
Lmao
It was because of his stuttering gimmick in ECW.
After listening to Bubba on Busted Open radio I can see why no one can stand him
Makes sense why Velvet Sky broke up with him now. 😂
I was thinking they were still together so that’s good to hear lol
It still blows my mind that she even got with him in the first place. That dude is gross af. Idk how any chick would wana be with him.
@@jessiepalermo7234 You'd be surprised what kind of guys these hos go for nowadays
