i personally think we dont know the whole story because it would make sense for them to get mad for doing something so dangerous without permission which they have a history of doing the only history they have with heat for getting urself over was when u did it thru outside means like zack ryder

Went to a house show in Burlington, Vermont I believe in 2004 with my brother. Paul London was one of the only wrestlers who came outside after the show to talk to fans. He signed our tickets and chatted for a while. Really awesome guy! And if you are reading this by some chance, thank you for that Paul. Almost 20 years later and my brother and I still talk about it.

That’s not surprising. Met him a few times at Indy shows in Austin. He was one of the most approachable wrestlers there and the only one to have had been with any major promotions at the time. From the few convos I’ve had from him it definitely seems like he really appreciates the fans.

RVD has spoken about it before too. He mentioned a spot where Jericho was politicking in regards to a match between the two where there would be interference during an attempted superplex and both guys would be hit with a chair, only for Jericho to land on RVD and get the pin. Despite not making any sense for the spot, Jericho was insisting on being the one about to deliver the superplex, which we can assume was because he didn’t want to look like the guy who was about to lose the match before the interference. Just ridiculous.

WWE definitely had that old school mentality. I remember listening to Dutch Mantell talk about how you'd get into trouble for being too good, because you take away from the big name stars who'd have to keep making money.
I guess once you do a spot that's too good, it took away from the actual spot fans was supposed remember? Well, they should step up their game.
