I spent a long time on the lowest of low budgets, and it taught me that a couple of really well-seasoned side dishes are so much better than several bland dishes - and the amazing smell in your kitchen created by baking your own bread/biscuits/rolls etc makes up for a LOT! Baking some biscuits or soda bread is easy and cheap since you don't even need yeast, but makes everything taste so much better and your house will smell incredible. Taking the time to make things with love and care makes food special, not the money you spend on it. Getting to spend the holidays with your loved ones in a warm, safe home is a blessing not everyone gets to have, and gratitude is the best seasoning of all. May you have a BLESSED Thanksgiving and holiday season, Camirra!

One of the best prices on a protein for the entire year is turkeys during the lead up to Thanksgiving. Ill purchase at least a dozen birds JUST for the rest of the year. @CamirrasKitchen wow .39 cents. A cheasy freezer is a "buy once, cry once" deal. And it doesn't have to be a giant freezer. However speaking from experience a dozen turkeys do require a large freezer.
