Now THAT's a cheap date. You take Hilarie to the scrap yard and get paid to take her there. Keep warm you two!!
L.O.L.😂
🤣🤣🤣
Was thinking exactly the same thing 😃
Snow in the country is absolutely beautiful!
It's impressive how the cows on his farm can get through such a cold winter.
Love the Grapes of Wrath reference, Pete!
Delightful videos, we feel you are our family.
Wow now I want molasses and homemade biscuits. Take care and God bless.
Pete, if a cow bites your leather glove, is that cannibalism?
Cowibalism
Humanalism😅
Thanks for the view, his is the best way to see snow.
Only if it eats the glove. Otherwise it is tool use.
Reminds me of Pete's old vids when he did dad jokes....
Pete since you like the taste of molasses, you should get yourself some Goldenberg's Peanut Chews ... chocolate-covered molasses heaven with crunchy peanuts!
Not for the cows though.
Just an FYI, I fully support new videos showing the farmall cub plowing snow!
I remember my uncle having some molasses licks out in his pasture. His cows sure loved them.
Hilary's face when you start listing exceptions of what's NOT going to scrap. Priceless LOL!!!
Snow like this really changes the appearance of the woodlots. Suddenly you can see all the downed ash trees.
You are a very good man Pete
Looks like a Winter Wonderland so beautiful
Its just beautiful would love to be there with Hilary having coffee or coco in a fireplace oh no that's the way it should be 😃
My favourite thing about those sorts of snow fall is how quiet and muffled everything is. It's like the world, just slowed down for a little bit.
I know what you mean - it's just your crunching footsteps that sound so loud!
Amen to that! 👍
My family just discovered your videos. From the youngest our, 2 year old, to the grandparents we all love watching your channel!
Me, Dad and Grandpa always watch the videos on this channel and my grandfather appreciates the work that Pete completes on the farm.
Awesome much love from Cleveland Ohio ❤️
The workday passes like molasses in wintertime
Thanks for taking us along.
Have a great day!
Just wanted you to know Pete. You have moments in your videos that you yourself classify as "boring" but I literally never skip a second. Everything in your videos has me entertained haha.
he got me the way he said “fat fluffy wet falkes” 😂
When you bring out that freshly painted farmall tractor that white snow really makes that red paint really shine it dose green and orange but that red really stands out I guess that’s what makes me a red fan Pete you have a great day
Enjoyed the snow covered ride-along! Took me back to my childhood.
Thanks so much for taking us along for the ride to dump.Scenerywas beautiful.
Wow, I had forgot all about molasses. In the 1950's while visiting my grandparents dairy farm my grandmother sent me out to the barn to get some molasses that was stored in old milk cans. That evening she surprised me after dinner with her homemade molasses cookies - what a treat! My grandfather was a big believer in a small amount molasses mixed in with the daily food for his registered holstein cows during the winter. Your videos bring back many great memories - thanks.
I remember Mom warming up sorghum molassas and then letting each of us kids go outside with pitchers of it and pour it onto fresh snow. Instant hard molasass candy. Can still taste it today.
Our jerseys get molasses all winter. They love it!
You were living good, few things in life are better than fresh homemade cookies, and molasses ones at that. PriceLess
Molasses’s is great to pep you up during a long blah winter. Put in on your oatmeal.
I remember that "big farm" from going to my grandparents farm between Cortland and Groton, that small glimpse brought back so many memories!
❤🎉Blessings and Blessings to you all. Glad you got your tractor fixed.
Snow covered farm just made my very late morning 🌄
Ah Snow.Stuck on the trees, Just beautiful!
Hi Pete, thanks for another great video. I enjoy them so much that I usually watch them twice. Beautiful snowy scenery. Hope you and family have great week. Looking forward to your next video!
Thank you for sharing your winter wonderland with us Pete!
I believe your Fahrenheit to Celsius conversion was spot on. 😂 #algorithmgenerator
I wonder how many heads that flew over the top of?
Hey Pete love your videos. We raise Dexters in Central Ky. Your videos have helped me tremendously over the years with your ideas and advice about running a small farm. Love the snow and its natures way of putting nitrogen into the soil.
@@chris3m98 They are much easier to work with due to their disposition and size. Also they are ideal for small acreage farms. Our farm is 70 acres with about 40 acres of pasture. I can run twice as many Dexters as I could Angus. Their meat is 4 star in taste. I sell it as fast as I get it. I also crossed breed my Dexter Bull with an Angus heifer and a Charolais heifer for my customers who want a larger quantity of meat. also they are great for new farmers because they are really easy to work with. Hope that helps..take care
Walkin’ in a winter wonderland 😊
I enjoyed the truck ride. I love a dreary snowy day.
SO BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for another psychological breath of fresh air...seriously needed !! Bless you !!!
Thank you Pete for sharing your day. Stay safe and warm... looks a bit chilly.
I love it when the snow sticks to the trees! Ice beautiful too, but!! sometimes it breaks limbs off and other things! Lol
Y’all stay warm out there Pete! Take care 🤙
When you said we're just going to replace this glo-plug......I thought, oh my! That's what happened with the one you're finishing up now. Just ONE repair! It's all coming apart !!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🙏🙏🙏
Really can't wait to watch your videos wish they were longer . Your the best when it comes to anything farm or animals. Keep up the great videos and try to stay warm.
Great video Pete!!! Enjoy the warmth inside!!! Another enjoyable video!!!
So pretty, I love “crunch” as you walk! One of my fav parts of winter!
Thanks for feeding us. Love you guyz!
Beautiful country scenes! Thank you for sharing!
Hi Pete, Grandson is 15 mo old & still 'helping' you run the tractor..He hollers when you stop. Thanks for helping me babysit! 😊
🍭 for cow’s 🐄🐄🐄😍👍👏🏼👏🏼
What did the cow say, when her udder hung in the snow? "Get your ice cold, fresh, milk, here"! Lol. I love your voice, and your humor. The snow is beautiful on the farm..
This was a nice video pete, had a little more relaxed feel to it. And I enjoyed seeing some different things, even if it was just you and Hillary going to the scrap yard together haha.
The cows will have a blast eating molasses. It warms their hearts in the cold barn stalls.
I asked "How much for the snow????"...."You did not!!! " That was a lovely exchange. We have one of those molasses wheels. The calf feed has molasses but it really gums up feedmill. After one time of that, we let the feedmill in town grind it for us.
I love the sound of the snow crunching under your boots!!
Stay warm Pete.
Bet you never thought you would be recording a video of going to the scrap yard or cleaning off your truck, but here we are, all your fans, watching you. Thanks for sharing your life.
God Bless you Pete. Thank you for all you do.
Just another day in the winter wonderland of farming. Yes, I remember well the molasses trick, and it always worked. Thanks for another good video.😊😊
Good afternoon Pete and family a huge fan here love your videos keep em coming
Thank you for taking the time to give us insight into the daily life on a small farm!
Boy, those cows never stop eating.
Morning Pete! I've been waiting for your video. It's a winter wonderland here too. A solid foot of wet, heavy snow.
If I could have bought five jugs of molasses for your cows I would have done it. I just love doing for the animals!
This reminded me when I was a little girl in Cuba and my grandfather had barrels of Molasses and we would go put our little hands in it to taste the delicious molasses. Oh my you brought me back 55 yrs. Thank you Pete 😊
One year my dad put up oats for silage and the cows didn’t like it, so we did the molasses trick also.
I’ve hauled molasses in a tanker with no baffles, just when you think it’s stopped moving when you’re at a red light, wham! It hits you again, lol.
How beautiful the snow is!😊
So beautiful. Ice in the trees! My favorite.
The weather station:
"It snowed. 🧐"
Back in the day cow feed used to have molasses in it. I remember it from the 60s and 70s.
Hi there! I'm originally from the Cortland area (McGraw) but now live just outside DC. I can't tell you how much I love seeing "home" when I watch your channel. Thank you!
10:02 this is an AWESOME treat. YOUR AWESOME..
I could talk to you for days. I totally enjoy your videos thanks man
Husband just had a moment to watch - he says about the Molasses in January - COW COTTON CANDY!
Thank you Pete for sharing your day with us. Blessings🙂
You caused me to LOL when you converted 28 degrees to Celsius. Thanks. 🤪
Great Video i Love These Videos
Beautiful morning ❤️
Thanks Pete.
It sure looks like a magical place of wonder to us, down here in Australia. I have holidayed in snow, but I sure couldn't imagine living in it. All those extra things you would have to do.
"Ice Cream and Potatoes" could be the title of your next book.
Very interesting conversion from F to C degrees 🤣🤣🤣
The cows are so excited the minute they smell molasses! One of my favorites too on a chilly morning. Great source of iron.
Its a good day when Pete Uploads, Keep up these videos they are awesome
Hay pete stay worm out there its always a pleasure to see you interact with your animals grate video pete thanks for sharing
Pete, no jokes anymore? I got to read comments now to get a laugh!
I liked hearing your footsteps crunching in the snow and you cracking wise while you cleared your truck!😆😆
Thank you for “a slice of Winter life” on FAF.
Zook Molasses, Honey Brook, PA., handles bulk molasses near or in your area. I enjoy your videos. Best wishes.
Pete I remember the molasses on the farm as a kid in the 40's and 5o's. Yes the snow looks great like you are showing here, pretty.
Thanks Pete for the tip. Haying this year in a drought was horrible. The hay was awful. I baled what I could, but the quality is not good. It's bad when the girls look at you after you feed and they are still yelling at you. So I will try some molasses.
The best thing about snow is your lawn looks as good as your neighbors
Hi all. I was amazed when I saw you buying a 1 gallon bottle of molasses . We buy in tankers.
Beautiful country snow video Pete. Reminds me of my younger days on the farm as a kid. I will be back in Farm country this year and I hope to get some of your products from one of the markets days you sell at.
Had to laugh about the "old man step" , when I bought the wife her first f150, she said who the heck needs a step.
Second f150, her first question was does it have a tailgate step, lol.
I was intrigued watching you clean snow off the truck. Glued to my seat so to speak Pete. 😂🤣👍
Always loved the smell of molasses. My dad would sometimes buy feed with it mixed in. And long ago when the snow was clean, you could drizzle molasses over the snow as a treat for yourself. The snow was beautiful. We have gotten little here this year in Mid Michigan and it tends to not stay on the ground for long.
Nice Dust Bowl reference!
It's like a big flavoured frosted mini wheat! :D Looks like the cows love it. Snow that sticks to the trees is my favorite, personally. It makes everything look lovely no matter what you are (not that the farm or countryside needs much help in that regard)
It does remind me of frosted mini wheats. Lol.
Frosted mini-wheats! I love that!
Like maple wheats 😆
Don't ya just love Steiner putting "cow tails" in their packages?!!
A winter wonderland.
I love the look of the pure white untouched snow, the look mind you, not actually having to deal with it! Love the videos Pete!
My first memory of molasses is as a young kid we had hogs. To fatten them up had a 55 gallon drum of crude molasses. Mix with grain and feed. Smelled so good I went to the house and got a small bowl and mixed me some. Dad was gone. When he hot home and saw what I was doing let’s just say he wasn’t happy. Not because I was eating crude molasses and grain and get sick but because I was taking valuable feed from the hogs. Funny later but a long ways from that at the time.
Love your Fahrenheit to Celsius conversions Pete, always gives me a chuckle.
