Yakuza 0 - Rush Style Vs. Mr. Shakedowns

Rush style for Kiryu Kazuma, the styles that most new players would definitely hate when first introduced, but damn I was one of them and I was WRONG
Decided to do some "complex" video editing for the first time, doesnt take that long, but then again, its not that great imo, but who knows, I dont lol, what says you, the watcher?

Tip: Instead of doing a finisher after a rush combo, press the evade button and instantly rush combo him (Do this when you're on the 3rd heat bar)

​@@propertymanager9149he is saying that it is better to evade while using light attacks and then keeping up the combo rather using a heavy attack to finish a combo after light attack(s) because mr shakedown moves are unpredictable so evading while light attacking him guarantees you to dodge his unpredictable attacks and helps you to keep attacking him without getting hit

Rush was my favorite style second only to Brawler. Its sloww at first but really picks up speed once you get the basic upgrades in the skill tree.

Rush is a wierd style sometimes you can beat the shit out of every single enemy and sometimes you just go and die

I find it a little easier with majima using the bat and starting the fight with a bunch of tourine bottles. I just beat him down using the qte special moves all day and by the time I run out of tourine he's nearly dead.

the best way to beat mr shake down so far is Kiryu's dragon style
stand close to him so he will do the arm swing attacks instead of the charge attack, hold the fighting stance button and press the "grab " button when he start his animation; Kiryu will counter throw him onto the ground deal alot of damage and gain energy as well

@@longphan7656 you can also counter his guarded charge move like that. Also, you can do the throw finisher combo when Shakedown is on the ground, meaning you can basically just keep throwing him over and over and stunlock him. The square x 2, triangle, circle combo is what I mean. The throw finisher will pick him up and slam him. Dragon is defintely the best style for Shakedown. Brawler at max power with the alcohol upgrades also demolishes him because it just does so much damage and has good counters.
And yeah if you’re going to cheese him, Tauriner and heat actions is stupid, I don’t know why this gets suggested so much. If you’re taking the easy way out in the first place, the only correct answer is the Zap Gun or Smoke Gun, you finish him quicker without constantly going into the menu and risking getting up close.

if you want to grind cash and not deal with pain you can just use zap guns but if you want to feel accomplishment just get a full inv of staminan royales and then switch around with style doing different heat moves since you deal less damage if you do the same heat move again and again just dont try to get heat with the beast style dince you are a masochist if you try to.

Mr. Shakedown is a joke canonwise.
Cuz Kiryu is damn strong and skilled. Shakedowns are just dumb brutes who attack blindly.

Best way so far I’ve found is to utilize rush then immediately switch to canon and shoot him

Rush kinda worse to shakedown. I just wish parry thing could make the shakedown dizzy for some reason then we can do that again and again.. That's would good to use rush. But no.. The parry thing was just like that.. So parry thing is useless..

Theres a device to find him, but I dont have one for Kiryu, so I just run across the town like a maniac, but Majima has one so he can locate them everywhere
