Just saw this on the Humble Store and was curious. Seems pretty unique and enjoyable with a bit more autonomy with the pops rather than pure min max at the start that turns into watching it all come together
This is like an animated version of Dwarf Fortress and no need to run a mod to see what’s being done lol
Praise Lord Pravus for taking all our products and having our services and providing for all the meager needs we have.
Praise Gimli!
Hi! Just a little tip. The first family who wanted to join your village weren't just good at fishing. There were four icons at the bottom, where they still fit, and there was also the pub. It was a pity to send them away, but of course such things happen. Have a nice game...
Aren't all families able to menage an inn?
@@michasokoowski6651 Maybe you are right...
18:40 You are already creating value, because people are producing goods. Unless those goods perish (like food) you're creating value. Think furniture for example or tools.
Cool. Just earlier today I was hoping to see how this game has changed. :)
Can’t rule if you’re busy cleaning your own clothes, cooking your own food, etc. specialization requires a surplus, and that surplus is created at someone else’s loss
Seems interesting
This games is super fun
More of this plz
Serf and Turf time
The point of servants isn't because nobles were better but because in order to govern they need free time. If they spent their entire time farming and fixing their home they wouldn't be able to accomplish higher level goals.
Spoken like a true Elite, LOL.
JK of course and historically you are correct and it's also one of the reasons we had Queens and not Kings many times.
As the King could be off fighting wars or gathering his forces whatever while the Queen ruled the land in his stead so they just cut out the middleman as it were...
Based
@@PastorwithoutaPulpit let say it is true for a king, if you call spending most of your time in leisure pursuit or standing in the way(and frequently killing/exiling) more competent advisors* accomplishing a higher goal; what of the extended royal family then? or just about any "nobles"?
@@theforsakeen177 pseudo businessmen, in control of sub territories
@@theforsakeen177 What you've said depends entirely on which King/Kings you're talking about they weren't all worthless or in pursuit of leisure. Some actually grew and expanded their kingdoms and many times to the betterment of their people. History is never black and white no matter what the schools, universities and even so called historical literature of the last half century or so would have you believe.
This game looks insane I was dreaming of thing looks like that.... Please make more videos of this game ASAP
27:56 miss that outro, haven't watched much of Pravus lately, so I'm getting back in to it, kinda reminds me of IGPs outro Glitz at the Ritz. Also Pravus, I've been meaning to tell you this, but did you know you got a shout out or reference from Internet historians video "the varus strakes back"? LoL. Plague Inc and Your Voice really brought me back to 2017 when I saw that reference on his video haha.
If you're playing the new 1.0 version, you should really take advantage of the blueprint abilities. I have only just started playing with them, and they seem to work really well. *edit* The pathing for building seems worse than ever, though, because I have already lost many villagers to death by building themselves in. Bad bug at this point.
New game!
I selected stewardry for all of the professions but receive none of the goods they make... Did I miss something?
pixelart is good for art. pixelfont not so much :(
Huh its changed quite a bit since I last played it seems might have to shake it off in the steam library
9:49 Did they actually implement something like that to the game?!
how do you rotate furniture ingame?! ive been losing my mind
Hii, why are my villagers doesn't build their beds? They built everything else just fine but not the beds.
pravus were you on the circle????
😭
Please play VICTORIA 3
I can't stand this type of art style in games and I am absolutely terrible at games like this. But I am absolutely enthralled watching Pravus play this. Really looking forward to this series!
You are not building communism you are building a factory town.
Ehhh no Terra Invicta .... again
oh its rimworld ............ next
E
Pravus should play more democracy 4. i would love to see a hardest difficulty america run. day 69 nice!
lol "psuedo-communism"
also the pixel font hurts my eyes...
Stewardship under a benevolent dictator (or as you call it: Communism) takes away all the concerns about balancing the economy. So why wouldn't you just keep playing the game that way? ...I mean besides the fact that it would take away what makes this game special.
I guess it's just a different way to play - but I would imagine it involves a lot more micromanagement. If that means that you don't have to "balance the economy", and therefore it's better...
For me it's to much micromanaging that's just not appealing to me more a rts player but love city builders but going thru every little thing making sure everyone is optimized is just not fun in my case

I wanted to watch game play. You are skipping all of that with your cuts.
Sorry to say but this game isn't really appealing to look at. There is so many city builders of late that I'm not so sure that I wanna play this one over the others. The game feels so... brown
This game fell off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
