I think this game actually provides a fresh idea of combining several niches into one. having said that, I haven't played Anno at all and I'm not planing to, but I do play workers and resources, cities skylines and several others in that city building/automation group,
What I'm saying is - this feels different enough to give it a go
I love Anno 1800. A rare occasion, but I have been paying attention to the main storyline. It's really engaging.
As the outro (32:10) states, indeed I thought it was a budget Cities: Skylines, B category, not even worth trying, kinda game.
But you showcased it from the beginning so well that I can't wait to try it!
Since it's more like Anno with a modern twist, it puts it in a whole new perspective

An interesting game. Like most city builders, except it not only uses money but you also need specific resources... Kinda reminds me of a simpler Workers & Resources: SR. Thanks for bringing it up!

Is unfortunate. I dont thing is issue with being inspired by, but even though gets mechanically different, too much is visually the same. The way they visualize piping was what really had me take notice.

Don't worry, I say look at all those chickens on a weekly basis. The game looks great, with the zones having their own roads and supplies being needed instead of just cash. Definitely keeping an eye on this.

It's very nice city simulation, just let down by numerous bugs, some can freeze your game, freeze your mouse, etc, this happened when i first started playing, but providing you play normally and don't try something out of the ordinary (like a high voltage wire in a silly spot, etc), you can play this all day and all night without any rollback interruptions.
FYI, nieuw is the Dutch/Flamish way of writing new.

In simpleton terms it's like city skylines but more in depth with the resources I like it
Its basically like if Cities Skylines and the Cesar/Pharao/Zheus/Emperor games had a son together

I know it might be really hard, but I'd love to see a citg builder that can do buildings that require fewer grids and 90° angles. Like European style buildings need a perfect square angle to havena proper corner building. But there's always buildings that don't have perfect angles, and i am curious to see how it could be done.
Oh yes! Or some kind of round building to put in a roundabout

Overall, I think I prefer playing City Skiline, this game doesn't offer anything interesting that makes it worth getting.

I got it to work but you have to put it into beta version with unreal 5... its not even baked into the game@@mygetawayart
@@mygetawayart I only got an 9th Generation i3, 16gig RAM, 6600 Radeon RX, and it's runs great, myself not complaining about it's performance.
Not perfect but at least I don't have to upgrade my computer to play it.

All I Am hearing this game sucks BIG TIME
It's fine to me, it's just a recent addition to the city-builder gaming world with a lot of clunky gameplay that needs to be improved (though it's anyones guess as to whether the issues will get fixed) I'm being patient because it's still addictive regardless of the bad parts. First-timers to the genre should find it very entertaining
