I'm so glad you brought it up at the end, yes you should absolutely turn your foragers on to stewardry.
After they finish constructing their house they sell pretty much all of the wood to incoming families and wind up basically hoarding the money of the entire community, it's much better to just pay them a good amount of gold and sell it or give it out yourself.

What do you think is a good amount to pay, so they have enough money to buy food?

@@obivandamme I haven't actually played the game yet, but I've watched every single video to come out for it so far and it seems like setting it to roughly 70% socage works pretty well.
If you want to actually pay them though I'd just start out at .2G a day per family member and move up from there if you need to.
If you put a couple chests inside their houses they'll put all there gold in them and it makes it a lot easier to manage their payment longterm.

I guess in the beginning I will go for stewardry and see how things are going. Worst case is that I need to give th some food until everything stabilized

I will give it a couple of episodes. The game is in rapid development and according to the developer major updates Will be available every couple weeks. If Interest stays high and I keep enjoying the game we might make it a longer series

In the current series we are building a Manor for the lords since almost 2 years. It is still not done and the lords lives in the Inn all the time. So I guess that works :D
