I just went through almost a year of job hunting after getting laid off. It SUCKS dude. Biting the bullet and doing the LinkedIn post thing actually did help, even though I hated doing it lol. Also, don't forget to sort by "new" and look for emails from the people hiring instead of just applying through indeed cause everyone says they don't get very many responses through the websites themselves. But when I email hiring people asking about the role and sending my resume they almost always at least respond. Good luck!
Have you considered doing content creation full time? or maybe find a part time job for now like something customer service-related, then teach dance at night, then do hired content creation or video editing part time for now as a freelancer like on Fivver or Upwork till you build up your skills and creditability as a creative freelancer?
hey girl thanks for commenting!! i have thought about it, and i am currently trying to build that credibility! i totally forgot about part time work cause i'm so zoned in on a couple of things atm but i really needed this reminder that there's so much i could work with out there. thank you!
truly thank you for asking this! I would design, style, and choreograph while mixing in project management! and i wanna do it with a team. sounds like i might need to be my own boss!
