It would depend on the types of armor or weapon, i'd think. But in most cases, ideally combining elements from each metal for different parts of the armor or weapon would work best.
also the marvelous wave - you can mention that adamatium is better suited to fight gamma monsters since vibranium is weak to gamma radiation. while vibranium is better suited to fight magneto lol since adamatium have more magnetic metal than vibranium.
It's kind of a misunderstanding that magneto controls metal with magnetism. He can, but actual CONTROL over metal itself is one of his powers. Even if he has zero magnetism he could still control metal. It's a separate moveset bizarrely. Also his magnetic fields are so powerful he can control any substance, not just metal. He just rarely shows it off.
Damn it would be incredible if we could create technology that could both help the buildings in our cities and absorb the incredible amount of kinetic energy from an earthquake.
Hey tell me, do you believe if Anakin Skywalker mixed those metals into one for his robotic arm he would be even much more powerful and stronger? Or tell me what if he mixed it with his lightsaber that way it would be unbreakable. Also adding the fact that beskar is the strongest metal. Just like those two.
one thing you forgot to mention is that adamantium is a poisonous metal while Vibranium isn't meaning that if anyone use adamantium similar to how logan uses it their life would a time bomb due to how lethal the situation would be but if logan was given a Vibranium skeleton his lethalness would be through the roof, but it would be wise to a mixture of both Vibranium for defense and adamantium for offense or just do what iron man armored adventure did and make a hybrid metal of Vibranium and adamantium which I think is what Cap's shield is in the comics I also forgot to mention I think Vibranium is sensitive to sound and sound-based weaponry I could be wrong on this one
@@stephenwonghongweng4298 he would have to ingest the heart shaped herb for that to happen but to be fair most super soldiers have enhanced abilities similar to a person who had taken the heart shaped herb like the black panther
Ultron's body was not warped by Iron Man, Vision and Thor. The regular titanium parts of his body melted. The vibranium components stayed in tact underneath them.
I think in terms of mass production, adamantium is better as a construction material purely because it can be more easily synthesized. Imagine a starship with a pure adamantium hull.
Adamantium is a harder, more resistant material. Think of it as Iron when everything else is Aluminum. It resists warping so much that the only way to work it is to engage it while it’s in a molten or near molten state! The amount of stress and strength it would take to bend or snap a piece of… say, adamantium rebar is almost ridiculous and even Thor or the Hulk would have trouble managing it. It’s that resistant to distortion and bending. Unfortunately, it’s that same inflexibility which makes it destructible (not easily, mind you). That which cannot bend will break when under enough stress - it just requires a ludicrously high amount of stress to break adamantium (kind of why it’s called that). Vibranium is literally on a different scale. Completely different. As in, cannot actually be compared. It’s like asking if Usain Bolt is a superior athlete to Michael Jordan. Adamantium is strong because it takes a lot to bend it. That’s literally all there is to it. Vibranium is a lot more complex. Vibranium is strong because it bends so incredibly easily, but invariably returns to its original shape when the pressure is gone. If Adamantium is like Super-Iron, and thus will eventually give way when finally overstressed, Vibranium is like an unsnappable rubber band - it’ll just give and give and give as long as you pour energy into it, until the energy it’s stored overpowers the energy you’re putting into it, which results in a MASSIVE explosion of raw kinetic energy that would reduce Isaac Newton to highly impressed yet terrified tears. This is why Captain America’s shield REFLECTS bullets rather than simply stopping them dead in their tracks like a conventional shield: it’s actually gathering and redirecting the bullet’s kinetic energy according to the shape of the shield’s surface rather that absorbing and dispersing that energy. And it’s why Black Panther’s suit in the movie can make an EARTH SHATTERING KABOOM if hit with enough force (“DELETE THAT FOOTAGE!”). Captain America’s shield is actually made of both. Most of the base construction is Vibranium, which gives it its startling kinetic properties, and it’s fortified with an early, experimental Adamantium alloy that grants it just enough rigidity that it can’t be bent back enough to expose or harm Cap. So in the end, Vibranium is probably “stronger”, just because the amount of abuse you’d have to give it to permanently compromise its structure after being cast would be so great that the resultant explosion would realistically atomize the vibranium along with whatever was vaguely nearby. Adamantium would give long before that point.
Including the scientific applications of Vibranium is unfair. Wakanda has had centuries, maybe longer, to develop that. Adamantium on the other hand is a new metal. Therefore time to figure out how to exploit an indestructible material in that way is barely getting started. Also, I'm pretty sure Vibranium can explode when exposed to to much kinetic energy. Which as an armor can be a problem. Granted it take a LOT of energy if I remember correctly, but that's still a serious downside. The superior metal is the Adamantium/Vibranium hybrid of Cap's shield. The Vibranium absorbing the kinetic energy and Adamantium reducing the explosion chance by increasing it's overall durability. Otherwise it depends on the application. Personally I would think an Adamantium crafted force field generator with even the wiring being made from it would be able to create unbreakable force fields. Considering the weakness of force fields is A: The amount of energy you have to power it, and B: How much said energy the wiring and machine can safely handle. Being made from a metal that CAN'T overheat, melt, or blow up would create force fields that could only be brought down by a lack of energy. That's just one possible application of Adamantium in technology. Or a long range space ship. Beyond an indestructible hull, you have a ship where wiring and other components literally wont degrade over time. The ship would be basically timeless. Perfect for trips that could take centuries or more. So in my mind it's a tie. Vibranium has some truly amazing properties, and used in technology it is superior at this point in Marvel lore. However Adamantium is not MORE durable, but pretty much indestructible short of god level attacks. The number of applications for that is truly mind-boggling. That's just my opinion though. On fictional metals that can't be truly tested. :D Have fun.
Adamantium has always just been the hardest most durable metal, vibranium is now a catch all excuse for Black Panther to be more powerful than Superman. Black Panther can knock out the Hulk cause he has vibranium, dance on the surface of the Sun, piss Mountain Dew, and crap ice cream. Vibranium lets him walk through walls, create black holes and control them. Mjölnir, bah that’s a kids toy, Black Panthers vibranium socks grants wishes.
I'd have Wolverines exoskeleton but have Black Panthers suit technology for my armor. Those two mixed with Wolverines agility and then use the Wakandan heart shaped herb and man look out lol😊
I collected comics in the 70’s and 8-‘s and vibranium wasn’t known for its strength as much as for its kinetic energy absorbing properties. I hate that the MCU made adamantium take a backseat to vibranium. It didn’t need to happen.

Well for one thing, you can't make Adamantium without Vibranium. Just saying. Adamantium is also not the strongest metal in the Marvel Universe. As far as we know, that would be Dargonite. Although it's worth noting that the first time we are introduced to it in the comics, we learn in the same breath that there are several metals stronger than Adamantium, and Dargonite is just one of them. We never learn the names of any of the others. That being said, Adamantium is not even the strongest metal on Earth. Antarctic Vibranium is said to be stronger, as is Mysterium.
They're the same thing. It's just a licensing issue since Marvel sold their properties to different movie distributors, the mcu had to come up with something different to adamantium and they retconned the comics.

Vibranium is a naturally occurring mineral ore which can be used in the manufacture of many different things. Adamantium is also toxic and is poisoning Wolverine whereas, Vibrainium does not have any adverse effects on Black Panther. So, Vibrainium just wins over Adamantium through application and cost but, any fight between Wolverine and Black Panther is a draw.

Depends what you mean? If you mean proto-adamantium like Cap’s shield?
Or something like Ultron?
