Why don't you install a few curtains with some curtain rails infront of the shelfs? you can cut a whole for the projector and i think it looks and feels much more cozy :)
Hey Alex i've watched every single daily vlog for the last month or so and just wanted to say you're actually an inspirational guy and the way you handle having a business and three youtube channels as well as staying fit and healthy is amazing.
I have watched all of these episodes now. In my bedroom I have made a mini gaming den! We found a very good projector that we used to use and I now have it hooked up to my Xbox one. I found a projector screen like yours and its mounted on my wall. I also have surround sound in my room with a colour changing light! Thanks for the inspiration and Coll ideas!
Do you have any recommendations for speakers to match a red setup doesn't matter if they are wireless or not just to have good sound quality. Please answer.
Nice and tidy work Alex. Suggestion would be to run the center speaker above the screen on an angled mount so you can hide the speaker cable away nicely :)
One easy thing you can do. Surround the room with black curtains that go from the ceiling down to the floor. Have it on a slider so you can reach your tools when you need it. It shouldn't cost that much.
OMG ALEX SAYS "Because i live in the U.K".... Thank you so much, you have no idea how good that makes me feel. Every UA-camr in England normally says they live in England. Thank you so much for saying the U.K ahahah. This is really weird but it really pisses me off!! Thanks ahaah
+Jay M Just a personal thing, really pisses me off. Even with anything the BBC refer to the U.K as England. Or if there is a good athlete from Scotland and he does good in a competition and he makes the news. He is referred to as British, however if he does bad in a competition he is now Scottish.... Fucking pisses me off
you can also put a sofa there and as other people say paint the walls and try to make it more welcoming. Apart from that you've got an amazing room and garage, congratulations with the thing you've made
You need to insulate the doors and walls. My gaming setup is in my garage and I still have to add more insulation but atm I added weather seals on the outside of the doors so there's no light and free air coming in. You can also install some foam insulation boards on the garage doors and such.. Should have them in the UK at a place like Home Depot, here in the US.
MarzBar, I really like your Gaming Den series and I;m planning on building one too but about your cables, since the tubings, you can cut them A suggestion would be to cut them at a height perpendicular to the shelf the consoles are on to have all the consoles aligned and continue the tubing for the PC wires so you don't have the hassle of unplugging one console to be able to use the other one. This way you would be free of using whatever console you want in the gaming den without any hassle.
Is your white ps4 on top of your subwoofer? You might want to move it since there is a huge magnet inside that thing and your ps4 has an hd. Somewhere i heard those two didnt go well together.
You could have bought a little hdmi switch device. This way you can plug in 2 hdmi devices and then press one button to switch. I used multiple versions of these (vga, etc they are found in all possible ways) and they are just amazing comfortable
Awesome Alex! Amazing Video As Always And I Am So Proud Of Your Success! I Am A Long Time Viewer And Honestly I Am So So Proud To Have Met You And Watched You Since The Start!
You need to put a couch in there so when you're watching movies its like you're in a cinema. Also love your work and absolutely love your videos!! I love coming home from work and relaxing while watching one of your videos from either your tech channel, Vlogs and Set up videos are just amazing all round!! Great job all the way from Australia!
I remember the days when you done a dead rising 2 stream, been here for so long and just to see how far this channel has come is amazing! Well done bro!
Put curtains all around the room including the garage door, shelves, and by your liquor fridge. It should keep heat in better and will absorb any sound bouncing around
Your videos are the crispest 1080p gaming content like a little online cinema i know you won't respond but life is unfair Like so he might see it!! Love you Alex
Suggestion for the gaming den: Can you put a dark rod on the bottom of the projector screen connecting to the bottom of the curtains so when the screen goes up the curtains go up to.
Alex been looking and quite cheap you can get some nice black curtains only thin that can be put up around edge of the room and when you need tools you can just simply pull back the curtains and get your tools. This would be awesome if you did this
Put some polystyrene squares inside your garage door panels that helps to hold some of the heat in. We have done it in our home in NZ :). (hope this helps)
I think it would look really good if you got a sofa into the garage. Maybe since its so cold you could get some portable heaters... For the winter at least ... and for the summer a little fridge for the the drinks... But overall it amazing, looks dope... insane
You need to add a couch or something in the den so when you have company they have somewhere to sit in there, that would be sick, make it red or black if you can so it matches
+Marzbar hey nice setup, is the JBL speakers hooked up to the Logitech z5500 if so good job upgrading but I think you should upgrade the whole system for a 2.5 as you've got space at the front underneath the screen to put 2 large woofers and also I'm sure the centre speaker is not doing a great job down there 😩
+MarzBar i live in the UK too we should meet up sometime ive been watching u basically from the start and you're seriously one of the kindest and honest person ever ur awsome man keep on smiling!
What you should do is put all the tools behind the projector and plaster the walls but keep enough room to put a door so then you can get to the tools but will still have a neat gaming room
get a space heater, than instead of moving to tools, you should put up curtains that can be drawn back. It can make the room look so much more... less-garagy....
Marzbar love the gaming den🙂 These kind of videos make me smile because sadly i have lost a relative lately from suicide so thanks for making me smile🙂
Nice work! I hope there will be some very marzy gaming videos. The Elgato HD60 Pro will probably reck the delay between the preview and actual game. This Is So SWAG. Again, Great work; you have a tech brain just like me
Those curtains made it, had such a classic look to it, you def want a lil 2 seater sofa in there tho :)
Your Garage, Or should I say cinema is just... AMAZING!!! Nice job man!
+Lucas Graaf, de same
Looks wicked now man! I think you should build a tree house next xD
That little rant about the tools in the garage and they can't go moving about! I'm laughing so hard at these! Love this channel
The curtains added the perfect touch. Awesome idea!
Why don't you install a few curtains with some curtain rails infront of the shelfs? you can cut a whole for the projector and i think it looks and feels much more cozy :)
Why don't u put the shelves of tools on the other side of the garage
👏🏽
His dad sometimes puts the Porsche on that side so he can't
Awesome! :D
+Vlad Munteanu ayy vlad
+Vlad Munteanu cf? :))
+MrAppleJacks Ayy?
Lmao?
Hey Alex i've watched every single daily vlog for the last month or so and just wanted to say you're actually an inspirational guy and the way you handle having a business and three youtube channels as well as staying fit and healthy is amazing.
The gaming den has finished perfectly. Seeing the progress, time lapses and project builds is really cool to watch. Hyped for the office build too :)
that den is absolutely astonishing

Do you have any recommendations for speakers to match a red setup doesn't matter if they are wireless or not just to have good sound quality. Please answer.
What quality can the projector display? And then when you're watching things does it feel crisp and clear or abit fuzzy?
Nice and tidy work Alex.
Suggestion would be to run the center speaker above the screen on an angled mount so you can hide the speaker cable away nicely :)

***** I have no clue, just does. Probably beacause they live in the U.K Not England. Well if your going to say England, Say England in the U.K. ahahaa
+Chrolyx yeah tbf it doesn't make sense that you would be angry at that
+GravityPlays I live in England :)
What is the goddamn difference
+Jay M Just a personal thing, really pisses me off. Even with anything the BBC refer to the U.K as England. Or if there is a good athlete from Scotland and he does good in a competition and he makes the news. He is referred to as British, however if he does bad in a competition he is now Scottish.... Completely agree - nice to have something different and a bit more natural rather than a pristine gaming room sometimes.
@MarzBar a project started can never been finished. There is always improvement that can be done.
Alex how to you get the Sonos to connect to your 5.1 setup, could you maybe link some of the things you need to do it on Amazon thanks mate
Alex you should put like a grey sofa to give the room an even more "chill" look. Keep creating awesome content, favourite youtuber :))
you can also put a sofa there and as other people say paint the walls and try to make it more welcoming. Apart from that you've got an amazing room and garage, congratulations with the thing you've made
where can i find all the stuff you use for the sound? not only the speakers
You need to insulate the doors and walls. My gaming setup is in my garage and I still have to add more insulation but atm I added weather seals on the outside of the doors so there's no light and free air coming in. hey Alex, what's the name of the remote control lights you put in your garage?
That ... Was...
Awesome!
I can tell the difference between the cameras... A little shaky, BUT I absolutely love it
Stick curtains in front of the shelfs with the tools on
Dude that looks DANK AS HELL (dank is good) Those red curtains look great with the feel of the room!
I have been checking my sub box every day just for this!
Looks amazing
Is your white ps4 on top of your subwoofer? You might want to move it since there is a huge magnet inside that thing and your ps4 has an hd. Somewhere i heard those two didnt go well together.
What's do you have on the back on your iPhone?
An apple logo, Camera and antenna lines.
+Get me to a 100000 for a chance to win an iPad air 2
:) But what cover is it? ;)
+demografik I dunno
It is a slick wrap
Hey Alex, I was wondering how is the wifi signal down there because sometime in most garages the wifi signal is just not the best?
You could have bought a little hdmi switch device. This way you can plug in 2 hdmi devices and then press one button to switch. I used multiple versions of these (vga, etc they are found in all possible ways) and they are just amazing comfortable
Alex omg dude your like my hero bro! like 8 months ago when i stumbled onto your channel you changed my life! I changed like my whole life
Awesome Alex!
Would the sub woofer being so close to the PC and PS4 potentially damage them??? Just a thought
when you record, do you use 'manual' or 'automatic'?
I remember the days when you done a dead rising 2 stream, been here for so long and just to see how far this channel has come is amazing! Well done bro!
Great video! If you could, please tell me what camera you use?
i have the logitech z5500 sistem myself
why did u take other speakers ?
Could u not get any colored light anywhere to lightup something?
There is a lot of wall space on the other side of the garage couldn't you just move the shelves to that side of the garage behind the curtain?
Put curtains all around the room including the garage door, shelves, and by your liquor fridge. It should keep heat in better and will absorb any sound bouncing around
I cannot find that spare chair anywhere where did you get it
How did you get the Sonos app to work with jbl speekers ???
Your videos are the crispest 1080p gaming content like a little online cinema i know you won't respond but life is unfair Like so he might see it!!
Love you Alex

I have that centre speaker if you drill 2 holes in the stand then put some screws in bottom and mount it
maybe try and get your sofa from your room and put it down there? So you have some where comfortable to sit for a long period of time.
Hey man where did you get the graphics for your PC backgrounds? they are sick! please let me know!
Alex how to you get the Sonos to connect to your 5.1 setup
what is the name to the race car simulator game? and the entire set up with the chair and wheel?
+MarzBar where did you get the steering wheel chair from
Love your content however there is a bury line across the middle of your video? around the 2 min mark?
Alex how did you get the chairs and things from gt omega and Logitech
what game were you playing on the simulator and what game console?
How do you use the JBL Control One speakers wirh the sonus?
Put some polystyrene squares inside your garage door panels that helps to hold some of the heat in. We have done it in our home in NZ :). (hope this helps)
I recommend to get a sofa bed and put wheels on the racing chair so you could move it aside when you don't use it.
That will complete the den.
I think it would look really good if you got a sofa into the garage. Maybe since its so cold you could get some portable heaters... For the winter at least ... and for the summer a little fridge for the the drinks... But overall it amazing, looks dope... insane

Hey Alex, roughly how much would you say everything cost you? I want to do something like this and I'm curious about the price. Thanks.

What you should do is put all the tools behind the projector and plaster the walls but keep enough room to put a door so then you can get to the tools but will still have a neat gaming room
What is the model number of the projector?
get a space heater, than instead of moving to tools, you should put up curtains that can be drawn back. It can make the room look so much more... less-garagy....
