Great old find, still in original box too, if you are not going to save and display that box, put it on ebay for sure, so many people would enjoy displaying that in there general store display or hardware store display room.
Happy thanksgiving! That Adler is a beast! I used mine quite a bit today. I’ve got some more to split up tomorrow. Going to post all that footage once I’m done. Thanks for the shout out as well! That Hand made Michigan is nice! Will be a fine axe to put on one of your handles!
was thinking about getting one of those rasps with the handle. good thing I only thought about it for 30 seconds because I got the last one with a disston handle, which is the best part. Love that stuff---thanks.
I hope you and the family also had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Chris. Just revived my order confirmation for a NOS rasp and handle. It's been a year where I'd like to take the calendar off the wall and burn it so I can start over. But things are beginning to settle into a bit of a new normal. So I want to get to work on my over sized axe collection, as well as a few other projects and collections too. So I jumped on this opportunity. Thanks, Chris. Best regards.
Mr. Killinger, Happy Thanksgiving again, we are still subscribed, still watching, still enjoying. Of the choices you gave of upcoming content I look forward to it all. Still liking that shirt too by the way...
I love that old handmade Kelly I have a double bit Marshall wells hardware co double bit polished that I’m going to mount on a Killinger handle I have put aside for it. Those rasps are wicked. I’d love to watch a video of you mounting and cutting the fawns foot. Do you do it by hand or band saw?
Hi Chris!!😀😀 You have got some nice new axes lately!! I would like to see a video of the new axe with the over strike protection on it. Where did you come across the rasps?? Good luck with getting the clutter back under control. LOL!! Take care my friend!!😆😀👍💪💪
Hope you had a good Thanksgiving. I bought the fallers axe also for splitting and am really impressed with it so far. I would like to see how that red oak holds up for a handle
I have a half round version of that nicholson rasp that Daryl Gruet gave me for my first axe hang (super generous of him). It’s the best rasp I’ve ever used. Cuts like a demon. Saved me from buying a shinto too lol. I’m probably gonna need one of your 28 inch full sized handles for a 4lbs Brades Yankee pattern my buddy gifted me. It’ll be fine through the winter but I suspect it’s gonna need rehanging in the future. Nothing less for this british beauty. Do you have any plans for ash handles? It would cool to do an ash handle on it being an english axe.
Those rasps are nice. All these new axe reviews makes me want to be lazy and just buy one instead of hanging the vintage axe heads I have! I’d like to see the video of the Kelly hand made hung on a French curve. I have a French curve that I want to haft on an old plumb Anchor stamped head
This adler is a beast and typically I would grab it when a maul is needed. The Gransfors Bruks Large Splitting axe is my favorite "Splitting axe". It's pretty light for what it will do and can't beat the quality. For budget minded, I'd do a Fiskars Isocore maul and Fiskars x27. For the price on that combo, it's hard to beat
Draw knife use and selection. Sell us some old stock draw knives. I just bought the fill with handle...!! Love that stuff! Just got my 28" axe handle in the mail. Thanks, its a beauty! got an early 60's craftsman axe head to hang on it.

Hi Chris! Good Evening Everyone!
Good evening!
Those rasps and handles are awesome! That's a nice Kelly axe head too, it reminds me that i have a Kelly Hand Made double bit that needs hanging!
Mmmm double bit! I may have one of those? I could do a set!

Absolutely love those axes very nice and those rasps are an am amazing find!
Thanks buddy!
Love this axe, but the paint had to go on mine. It would be cool to have a custom handle for these.

Not a bad price for these. I should’ve purchased this instead of the Hardcore Hammers Axe tbh🤣
Think this is cheaper too?

What are you loading with the powder on the bench? I load 12GA and .45
