The moment a little head changes your beginners crochet life. I have somehow always been crocheting from the inside of the tube to the outside. I HATE decreasing...! This suddenly made me realize: I can turn the thing inside out and make my life so much easier! Outside to Inside crochet! So much easier when you close it! I feel a little silly now :D
I love how you explained the pattern and I'm totally going to try it myself, I just wish you didn't speed through the assembly process though. It would've been nice to see how to line up the limbs to the body and how you sew them on
It´s also possible to make a belly-patch by doing color-changes while working the front part of the body-rounds. I used this technique for some of my own creations. And for one of them i also made some spots on the body-sides this way, too
I can’t wait to make these little cuties!!! Making one tomorrow! You give a very comprehensive tutorial. Lots of people don’t do a good job explaining, but you did awesome! Thanks so much for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻😉
Love the project. Would love if you could maybe stay in screen a little more during assembly. Can't wait to try more of your creations. Thank you for sharing.
You are so very good at Teaching us how to do this so slowly and explaining everything, I just wish you want a little slower when you were assembling and I am not 100% sure where the legs go or the arms. I was wondering if you could do it again and the assembly apart do much slower so we can see exactly how to put on the legs in the arms
this tutorial is so so good, I just wish it showed how to attach the head to the body. ): I have watched the amigurumi assembly video and i know how to sew but that doesnt really explain the placement for this piece. i am afraid mine will not turn out so cute.
I really like your project, but a shame you did not explain how to assemble. Do you have any tips on the best way to sew the parts together? I tried to look at your dino but mine is so far from yours... :(
Hi, if you take a look at this video here, it goes a bit more into detail to how to go about sewing amigurumi parts together. Hope that can help! ua-cam.com/video/JSKeRWHxcvE/v-deo.html For the dinosaur though, I try to sew the feet flat towards the ground with a bit of the tip sticking out but the rest of the feet is sewn flat on the ground alongside the body. I try to balance the tail on the back so it's also even with the ground and with the rest of the dinosaur. The arms I like to sew few rounds underneath the head and on the body. Good luck! You can do it!
How long do these take for you? And how long should an amateur take? On average, I mean. Also, what do you recommend if when I crochet a square it looks like a triangle? I follow the instructions and my blankets look like skirts- But this is soo cute, I must make this as a gift!
I think it takes me about an hour but I've never timed myself 🙈 I'm not sure what you may be doing with the crochet square. It could be you might be skipping some stitches or perhaps crocheting too tightly? Or perhaps you just might need to block the blanket? Not too sure without being able to look at the project itself, but keep practicing!
To make a mini version, try using a much thinner yarn like either sportweight or fingering yarn. Some people have even used embroidery floss to make it tiny!
You can click the Gear Icon on the bottom right hand corner, and click "Subtitles" and then click "Auto Translate" and click on the language that you need. Hope that helps. Good luck!

just look where they are on the finisted model and place them there, too.
Hola podrías pasar el vídeo en castellano gracias
Yes, really need the placement of the limbs; that's the hardest part for me. But super cute pattern.

I also wanted to tell you I took the head and used a size B crochet hook made it much smaller and turned it into a finger puppet and it’s real cute

If i make this with worsted weight red heart yarn and a 2.25mm hook do i have to modify the mouth and head? Because mine look different

What if i wanna make it bigger?
Try using a chunkier yarn, or double stranding or even triple stranding your yarn!
