Sparkle Heart Magic Force Go! Ep. 9 - "Nostalgia Kills"

In the finale of Making Unknown Pictures's sequel series to Jikanno Hoi's mahou shoujo sentai (magical girl team) anime Sparkle Heart Magic Force, the titular team of Mystic Guardians teeter on the edge of victory over the strange entities attacking them in the form of blurry-faced versions of their 13-year-old selves. Who have been revealed to be their soul's first-ever lives, reincarnated through the centuries as distillations of the Zeitgeist, the spirits of those centuries into which they were first born.
Icewolf Striker, a new End of All Things, is about to be choked out by their teammate Solar Guardian's first incarnation, even while Solar Guardian stares into an imagined past with a pink crystal blade at her throat wielded by Sparkle Guardian's previous life. Stampede Guardian is no more, having apotheosed into the incarnation of The Moment.
Moments don't matter; without a past they have no reason and without a future they have no effect. The Moment wanted to matter, so she decreed that every living thing in the world would HURT in the breath of a moment. Icewolf Striker forgave herself, Sparkle Guardian realized what she did, and Scale Guardian lost their waning power, defeating her foe in the process.
The future is coming, while the past sucks you in. Whosoever controls the present controls that past and thus that future. Will friendship rule the day? Tune in to find out!
