Thanks for commenting Josef! The sound for this episode on a tablet is not ideal. My production colleagues were having technical difficulties for most of this month; the only downfall of being affiliated with a non-profit. Watching or listening on a computer or other device with headphones is recommended for the best audio! The level issues were fixed for all future episodes, however.

Thanks for your input! So the equipment issues have simply become more of a running gag than something we try to explain away, as you heard from the chaff grenade joke. Also, we're running this podcast in the style of JRE, which is, as described, a guest-centered podcast/videocast. The JRE podcast/videocast itself, the show that this show was modeled after, has no interactive element at all. That being said, the phone systems here have simply not been updated, but that's an issue for FRC Media, as I have no intention of taking telephone calls on ESP. However, there is an interactive element unique to our show that I've promoted multiple times - YouNow. During this particular episode, the YouNow servers themselves went down, and there was quite literally nothing that we could do about that, but I will apologize on behalf of the YouNow staff if that was the particular medium that you were looking forward to engaging in, which does in fact feature an interactive chat feature. Since the YouNow servers were down, we activated the next best things using a bit of quick improvisation - Ms. Evans went live with Instagram and I went live via our Facebook page, which is public, so anyone can join in! As you know, Facebook Live also features an interactive element, so there is always, including during this episode, a way for our viewers to interact; they just simply can't utilize the call in phone which was only pointed out during this episode as a site gag. Viewers do however, continuously interact with us and ask questions during YouNow Live. Via your feedback, I will certainly do my best to make this aspect of our podcast more visible. As far as fine tuning; microphone levels, peak meters, the soundboard, etc., this is only the seventh time that I've done this in this particular format, so I'm not afraid to admit that I'm also learning as I go, so I apologize if I haven't quite met your standards, but I assure you that things will definitely improve over time. However, I'm a little disappointed by the way that you went about this critique. Utilizing attack adjectives like pathetic and sorry is not becoming, and is in fact quite rude ... I certainly expected more from one of my Tumblr followers, but I will take the critique(s) nonetheless and utilize them to improve the show, so thank you again for your input and have a wonderful day!! ^_^ - Eryn Spencer <3 ~
