The Guard Dog is a cool concept and all, but it is far too overpowered. It's a walking sentry, can pick up medkits for other players, and..let's face it. No one wants to shoot a dog. PETA would have a field day. I can see why Call of Duty can get away with it because..well, it's Call of Duty we're talking about.
Maybe if it was a robo dog, like in MVM style, but shooting a dog, not to mention the weird unhinged fanbase some tf2 players can be, i wouldn't be surprised if someone tried to do some unholy things with the dog class. a cool idea, but i think we should get something like a strategist instead of a pet, that doesnt really fit the bloody goofy style of tf2.
@@rad_nor5861I feel like the guard dog being a robot dog in the MvM machine style would be the best way to go about it. As if you destroy the dog, it could just explode or something, so it doesn’t feel like killing an actual dog. And about your point of people doing unholy things to the dog, I think that’s just something that comes with creating any character unfortunately. Now, I do think the idea of a little robot dog fits Tf2 well. As we have characters like engi who make machines, so the robot dog isn’t unrealistic in the tf2 universe. And it would save the team behind tf2 time in making a new human character, as when making a human character you have to give them a unique and memorable design that fits all the design philosophies of the og classes, you have to give them a unique nationality/accent that can be made fun of without it being offensive (ie spy being French, demoman being Scottish, engi having a Texas accent, etc.), and you have to give them a unique personality that works well with the other classes’ personalities. A robot dog is much easier, and it technically does fit all of the criteria I listed. A robot dog in the style of MvM machines with team coloring like engi’s machines fits the design philosophies well, we haven’t had a robot character yet, so it’s different from the others (yes, the robot dog won’t have a nationality or accent, but pyro doesn’t either), and the robot dog would have a unique personally of being a pet, which could work well of the characters. As I imagine it, scout would love the dog, but the dog would find scout annoying and usually won’t listen to him. Soldier would try to constantly train and toughen up the dog. Pyro would absolutely love the dog and would always want to play with it, but the dog would be terrified of pyro. Demoman will probably be indifferent to the dog, maybe he would try to get it drunk with him or something. Heavy and the dog would probably have a mutual respect for one another. Engi would be it’s creator and the dog would love engi. Medic and Spy would find the dog dirty and disgusting, but medic would probably experiment on it or something. And sniper and the dog will probably have the strongest relationship, giving sniper a very close friend, which he doesn’t really have at this point. But anyway, that just my view on why the guard dog as a robot dog would fit well as a class. I kinda started rambling and forgot I am replying to you, so sorry I guess. Also, I have ignored everything about the gameplay of the guard dog, and that’s because I don’t have much to say on it other than it needs to be changed for it to work or be more fleshed out. I just wanted to say how the idea of the character would work well in the game and fits the “bloody goofy style of tf2” like you said.
I mean, no one has a problem shooting a hamster in Overwatch. I think what differentiates this from shooting a normal animal in some other game is that this dog is trying to kill you.
too op? turn it into a drone dog, spy will have another reason to use the second slot that only is user to counter engineer. and he can't use medkit (he is a robot) that will conflict with the engineer gameplay and make it more balanced
Add a beagle as a cosmetic for the guard dog class and name it "the british hound", as it mostly comes from england and britain, and also adds extra speed as in real life its a fast breed, and also makes it slower as it takes supply, as its a small breed dog. (just an idea)
The Guard dog is a fire idea but seems too overpowered due to it being a running sentry and possibly not disguisable as a spy, so our best pick is probably madcap or a merc that could probably use a AR.
the thing valve did with tf2 is they didn't go down the route of generic war simulator blah blah Gabe and the gang decided that it would be better to make more inventive mid range weapons like the rocket launcher kind of the shortstop and other weapons and thats one of the many many reasons why TF2 is such a great game
It's actually really interesting when you compare it to Valorant and Skye's dog as i feel like it would fill much of the same kinda role of disturbance and pressure as opposed to direct damage. I also wonder just how different TF2 would be if this WAS a playable class, it's very interesting to think about. Banger vid Oris!
@@skelety_ It's more like a pevention IF the valve team aproves the Idea, and give the dog a gender. Then there will be that guy saying "It's not a HE, it's a SHE!" or vice-versa.
For one of TF2's "lost/removed 10th classes" like the Civilian I would like to add the Commander - back in the early 2000s when TF2 was still in development hell and meant to be realistic, the Commander was to be a non-physical class - there would be only one per team, he wouldn't be ON the battlefield but be supervising it, giving general orders and calling special attacks like air strikes, and look at the map through the eyes of the other players + cameras Engineers could build He was removed after the decision to make TF2 cartoony as the whole game in that stage was way too difficult to make it balanced and fun
I always thought the reason he was removed was just cause it would be annoying to have somebody screaming in your ear on what to do the whole time, which would get worse if you had a commander who didn't know what they were talking about.
I was thinking the deathmatch mercenary would be a cool addition as the 10th class. I think he would be unique due to his unique ability to being able to pick up any dropped weapons.
here's an entire insane Idea for a Class. Meet The Viralist: similar to the engineer in only one aspect: building. you set up traps around the map, that unlike sentries or demo's stickies, are completely independent of themself. this isn't the main function, but it is one. these traps aren't harming so much as harassing, from the glue bucket, which halves the movement of a class when it falls on them, (activated by walking through a doorway it's planted on), the air canister, a ground placed one that fires an airblast to any player... ANY player that walks in front of it, pushing them, and then finally, a decoy, that's appears to be a cardboard cutout with a spy mask on of a random class. it will loop the kazotsky kick emote to enemies that see it, appearing as an enemy. it has a pitiful 25 health. then, there are the cameras. you have 3 cameras. these can be placed across the map. you have to actually look at the ipad model to see what's on them, pressing the fire key to switch, and the left trigger to self distruct them to allow you to place them. there's no pinging feature or anything, but it can see through spy disguises and decoys. not invisibility though. these cameras do not pan. you can destroy them easily with their instant destruction speed, (10 hp) allowing for easy counterplay. it's a useful way to gather information, especially on MVM gamemodes and surveilance on sentry nests. the cameras make an obvious whirring sound like a console overheading. main weapon is a railgun (in function.) it's a simple gun scrapped together from road signs and stuff. the weapons barrel end is a toaster that's loaded from the front. if you tap fire, it fires a pitiful 20 damage shot with no crit chance. if held for a short while, it will cook the toast, making it deal more damage and actually have a chance to crit. if held even further, you lose the crit chance, the damage becomes 20 again, but it also sets enemies on fire. it fires TWO projectiles that TOTAL 20 damage, so if one get's blocked you are only doing ten. if held long enough, it will explode in your hands, killing you instantly. stock meele is a plunger that pulls enemies toward you each time you hit them, but only does the damage of a stock bat. the reload for the toast railgun thing is about 3 seconds (missisipi). the main goal of this class is harassment. the projectiles will arc starting at 30 meters. you hold alt fire to charge the railgun, so you can precharge shots. I know he doesn't fit the 1900's theme of tf2, but I still thought it was funny to design a class after prank yt channels. might also work if rebranded to a more reality tv host vibe.
to balance the guard dog a few things they could do is: 1 make the hanger fire like a tier 1 on sentry, 2 make it so the helper reduces the health\ammo on tier 2 and 3 by ether 15% or 20%, three give the guard dog some sort of voice modulator so It can use voice lines. 4 make the hater have a jump similar to the detonator's jump.
10:37 Since I spend a lot of time on the Wiki making my daily TF2 quizzes, I have noticed that even some extremely old items and cosmetics have people attributed within their respected item pages. At first I thought it just pinpoints which Valve artist worked on the item, but now I took another few looks and it is indeed a lot of surprising community contributed items! It is kind of crazy and amazing to know the community started supporting the game even pre-polycount updated!
Fun Fact: In the fan animation “Emesis Blue”, we actually get alluded to a 10th mercenary from a call from a General who has them all lined up and ready to go, but one of them commits suicide, leaving the 9 we have today.

Although very cool, the guard dog class would indeed be better as weapons or even subclasses for other characters. You could even keep the dog aspect, like for example, a hound master subclass for engie, or a dog that the scout carries in his bag for utility, or even taking control over it while waiting to respawn... Those assault rifle class suggestions at the end are gonna give me an aneurysm. lol.
I swear there used to be an official or a very convincing fake 10th class called the aviator I saw back in the 2000s. He basically was dressed like a 1920s pilot with 2 plane propellers coming out from his back sideways and he could supposedly triple jump and had like a bucket of water being meant to be arrival to the Pyro. I swear I saw artwork of this guy somewhere but I can't find it anymore it was how I knew what he looked like
I had an idea for a tenth class; the caster's quarterly witch. She had a revolver, a spellbook (basically a pda to select spells to cast), and a staff. I even created 2 unlock: a tarrot card deck that gave you a random AOE spells ranging from jarate rain and meteor showers to making enemy heads big while reducing the size of teammate heads, and a summoning circle that let you summon ghosts, skeletons, monoculus, and a jr version of the Horsless Headless Horseman.
When in doubt, I look to cut content and see what among the unworkable items synergizes with each other best. And honestly following that route, a tenth class would likely be a jack of all trades class. Something ironically not too far off from what the Guard Dog was described as.
Maybe it'd be cool if there was a separate game mode that included the guard dog, that way others who don't like its inclusion/such a big change as an extra class don't have to deal with it/can choose to play how the game has been
1:11 the civillian is added to team fortress 2. just not the one you know of today, there is another tf2 called "team fortress 2 classic". its the same concept, except some of the classes have different weapons, like the scout has the sniper's secondary.
I've had this class idea in my mind recently. The Recon Primary: Suppressed Shotgun Secondary: Dart Launcher (single shot instant kill headshot) Melee: Hatchet Ability: Grappling Hook (Can be used to get to high places, swing around corners, or pull enemies to you)
Honestly, I still can not beliece they deleted Madcap, the game really went downhill after that. Imagine how OP he could be in MVM. Just imagine, he could have used his melee to reflect Sentry Busters into waves of enemies, making them immediately explode
so glad someones bringing up GD again. Ever since i learned abt the funky lil pooch its been my no. 1 favourite potential 10th class and, although he'd have never been fully viable and wholly broken (and i dont wanna see the lil fella die), id still love to see a mod or community server that implements him.
I would change the dogs sniffing ability to seeing a trail the enemy took, which becomes more faint the longer it is ago that they where there or something, which also disapears once you killed the target
I think the guard dog could be a good concept for a weapon for engineer like with the gunslinger it replaces your sentry with a robot dog that you can move using the constructor so if you need to move your sentry/dog you can point where to needs to go and the sentry will run there.
I think my favorite "10th Class" is the Commander, a scrapped class from the very early development stage of TF2. This was back when it would have been more like the original Team Fortress, more grounded in reality and closer to something like Call of Duty or Counter-Strike. The Commander would have had a bird's eye view of the battlefield, and could summon air strikes and coordinate other players. This was scrapped because, well, Team Fortress is about teamwork, so it wouldn't really be fair if one player outranked and ordered around everyone else. Despite this, you can find certain aspects of the Commander in the final product. All classes have a set of commands, so anyone can request help if they need a Medic or a sentry, for better or for worse. The coordination aspect survived in the Coaching feature. While there's no commander or reconnaissance abilities in the game, since TF2 isn't really a strategy game (unless you count trolling as strategy), the Administrator could be considered an NPC Commander. You could also consider the Soldier to be somewhat of a Commander class. With weapons such as the Buff Banner and the Disciplinary Action, this could be a viable sub-class for everyone's favorite rocket man. The idea of a character class who specializes in reconnaissance and strategy also exists in other team based shooters, such as Rainbow Six Siege, Counter-Strike, and yes, even Overwatch.
there are three that come to mind for a “tenth” class, the civilian, mad cap, and the DeathWatch mercenary. Saxton doesn’t really feel like a mercenary, and fit well as a boss fight
Don't forget that we would've maybe gotten voice line of the mercs. Each one praising the dog after getting supplies, one insulting it as an enemy and one for calling him. And we could have *dog meme emotes*
The Cosmetics For The Guard Dog 1.The Muzzle (custom mouth hat) it takes away the bite from the flanking part with the speed boost but you pounce on the instead of bite, 2.The Leash (custom neck hat)you can choose a character to tie to and help for the time the person you have chosen survived and you survive, 3.The Bone (custom mouth hat) you choose a dead opponent’s corpse to take a bone from and you can use that one to give the person you chose a disadvantage, 4.The Kitten (custom back hat) its name is harp :D, 5.Fetch (custom achievement) bring your teammates 4,000 health kits or ammo boxes, 6.Needs Training (custom achievement) pounce on 500,000 enemy’s, 7.Upper Hand Attachment (custom achievement) stay with the person you choose to be leashed with for the whole round without dying,
I have an entire idea for a class. Meet The Enforcer. He wears a police-like outfit, just a bit messy. He have eye bags and a shaved beard, and have the personality of an average Canadian. This class is a pacifist. His primary is Handcuffs. It can lock the target hands from doing any attacks or jumping. The only way to get it off is if you ran to another teammate to let them unlock it. His secondary is The Wall. Its a wall made of metal scraps that blocks you from moving forward. You could fly or double jump over it, but you cant normal jump over it. The wall has the max health of 300 hp but starts with 50 hp. His Melee is a Hammer. With metal, he can Hammer the Wall to increase the walls height and health to the max. The hammer also does a measly 35 HP since The Enforcer keeps holding back his attacks. His support is Pepper Spray. This is simply Pyro's flamethrower but blinds you and have your controls inverted and set your sensitivity really high. It does a measly 15 hp per 2 seconds.
I'll be honest, this doesn't sound like fun to play or to play against. How does this class contribute to holding or capturing a control point? They don't have any damage to help in a fight, and any Heavy can tell you that a static 300hp target doesn't do much as an obstacle.
@@mothichorror446 @mothichorror446 The class is meant to slow down scouts and hold a few routes down so the team doesent have to worry about being flanked. Also since the wall will be considered part of the environment, it'll be useful when pushing against sentries since the sentry wouldn't detect the walls as an enemy and therefore wont shoot it (unless the Engie used a Wrangler). Overall its good at blocking scout, spy and snipers, good at pushing against Engie, but bad at blocking heavy, soldier and demo. His primary and support means that he needs to stay close to a team member at all times, so he is easy pickings if you caught him wandering alone and keep your distance.
Again, the question is: how is this in any way fun to play? There's nothing engaging about this play style. Sure, the utility of blocking off a route is nice, but that's about it. They're babysitting a roadblock and have no survivability beyond that since they require a teammate due to their overall lack of impact. Engineer could be a comparison, but not only is he capable of holding his own in a fight, his buildings have real tangible impact on how his team controls the fight. This concept has a big chunky number to park in the enemy's way and that's about it.
The Madcap is an entire meme, it was never apart of TF2, he’s playing along with not talking about the madcap at all then skipping to valve’s update date being leaked supposedly.
Honestly I really feel like TF2's current cast is way too balanced in the roles they play. Like, they cover so much ground on their own that I can't imagine a new broad archetype being introduced without it throwing off the game's balance in a major way. In my opinion, if they were to add new classes I think it'd be cool if they approached them like alt versions of the base 9. Classes that share the same general idea as their counterpart, but go about it in a different way. One idea I had was the Spy having a counterpart called the Infiltrator. They'd share that idea of stealth. They'd be able to cloak themself and they'd have an emphasis on staying undetected or getting completely screwed. But instead of sentry saps or using disguises, they could instead focus on things like limiting enemy resources and tagging the locations of enemies, sentries, and sticky traps so that their team can better prepare for encounters. I think ideas like that would work way better than trying to fit in an entirely new concept.
I don't know if you've already picked some thing to make as a new class for a mod but I want to throw my hat into the ring. The concept is for the apprentice. Being a former student of marasmus the apprentice would get a total of three primary slots. Which he can use to mix up three of the 10-12 spells. there secondary will be the stock pistol and his melee will be special and it will deal 90 damage and recover mana. speaking of which mana will function as your ammo for your spells being shown as a meter. You can recover mana by drinking a potion, which will just be your form of reloading. The meter can also be refilled by picking up ammo boxes (which also give you mana potions). if you'd like to continue with this concept we could talk some more about it
this feels as big as a "lets act like this was always here" as much as madcap because I truly, truly, TRULY have NEVER heard of this and I've been playing TF2 for like 10 years now
Is there a mod for a classic reskin of tf2? Something that makes the textures and/or models look more like the gritty military style shown around 2000ish?
A cool idea for a class would be…. THE PILOT. He’s a Canadian pilot who has a plane for a secondary that extends from him. The plane fires missles and machine guns
i would like it to be a 10th class, it would give the game more, experience and fun and more stuff to learn, but i can tell it will change the game a lot because of it but i don't, i am willing to see the doggy in this game and play as him fighting against the enemy teammates!
If added would not be suprised if they made it in the game, that in the comic that it was either a robot made by the engineer to look like a dog but be very intelligent or it was a normal dog at first till medic put the mind of one of his previous experiments victims inside it giving the dog human intelligence and the mind of the original person.
The issue with the Guard Dog is it's wide range of abilities and it's small size (meaning small hitbox) also it's a hybrid of all classes which would make it too overpowered. The Hanger is basically just the Heavy, The Helper is a portable dispenser and The Hater is just Spy and Sniper. And don't get me started with the Sniff ability being able to track down spies infintely will be very annoying and too broken
If you dont have a pc to play tf2 you can play jt on roblox too. Some game names i know are: Tetregon Fortress 2 Or you Can Play Typical Colors 2 (its the most relatable tf2 remake i could find)
I don't think another class is needed, but if there was another one, some sort of coordination focused class could be cool. Like they could maybe place cameras (up to three of them) in places. Maybe they can also be jammed by sappers? Something supportive that demands communication. In terms of a primary, something closer to a secondary weapon in strength would make sense. Maybe something similar to the SMG? Their secondary would probably be the main meat of their kit, where they can check in on placed cameras or maybe even unlockable traps like spikes. If you want to lean into the theme, a wirecutter melee that has its primary role in removing sappers (similar to the Engineer's wrench). They could also have a weapon in the dedicated PDA/Disguise Kit slot where they can place these traps, cameras, etc. The only problem comes from the whole "F2Ps can't use voice or text chat" thing, which would make the class useless to anyone who hasn't spent money on the game. Maybe have certain voicelines be usable regardless (spy around here, sentry ahead, etc). Something similar to the Engineer that is less attached to buildings and their function and more focused on coordinating with their team from a distance, while having some ability to fight. In terms of a name and as an actual character, "Trapper" could be a pretty good one. The class itself might also end up being too similar to the Engineer, though. I would imagine they'd be, as a character, almost similar to Sniper in professionalism though more communicative.
the true 10th class is random ok but seriously, i dont think we were meant to get a 10th class, mainly because of how the classes are set up three categories three classes per category you would need to either add a new category, or askew the organization
Let’s face the facts: The Guard Dog will NEVER be added… unless Valve decided to give the Engineer another alternative to his sentry. Also, I’d imagine the dog itself would have to be robotic so PETA don’t get pissy over a damn game. If what I’ve described comes true, the Engineer would probably use it to camp in the spawn room, but with the Guard Dog’s abilities, he’d still be doing his job to an extent. Also, the dog would have to be implemented via a new PDA, allowing the Gunslinger to change the sentry type the dog could have, while also giving it a speed boost (yes it would have less health too).
What i think is that in meet the sniper, he said "boom, headshot." Whit a class that looks suspicioly like the 10nt class, and that means sniper killed him, in the halloween update, its a grave that sayis "RIP the 10nt class"
The dog would've worked if it was more like the demoknight, before the demoknight. But then we wouldn't have demoknight. It'd be useless now, but I guess it'd work in vanilla loadout servers. Also the arrow passive was weak, it'd be way better (if maybe a bit intensive) to have enemy players leave scent trails behind them that can only be seen by the dog and only within a set radius. Then the radius could be increased by crouching, which just makes you sniff the floor rather than lower your hitbox.
In one of the Team fortress that came before tf2 (dont rememebr which one of the 29 trillion) there was a "commander class" which bassicaly kinda forced the team to go where the commander wanted, it got removed because people hated it for obvious reasons
I think if someone were to implement the guard dog through v-Script. I would do what someone else said, and that would be to make it a robot dog. For the base class, the dog , would have to be a modified scout . Slowed slightly, so the dog is faster than medic, but not as fast as scout. I might also raise the health maybe a bit? Maybe 130 or 150. Double jump would have to be removed somehow. For the primary. I think it would have to be a heavily modified Tomislav. (It's the only rapid fire primary I could think of) For the Secondary, might be a unique combination of mechanics, like the sandvich medkit recharge, and a gun with no ammo. The idea is to keep track of what item you just picked up, then spawn a new one when you drop it. But for an actual weapon however.. It might be over the top of something like the crit-a-cola. For the melee, swapping to it would equip one of Demoman's shields, like the splendid screen. Then have the melee be something like the Tribalman's Shiv. But with less of a damage reduction, I think attacking would also make the dog lunge at the target too. As for some of the unique abilities. I suppose the tracking one could be done by taunting by an enemies ragdoll, then give a highlight to the enemy player. Maybe a melee taunt replacement? Then for the Jarate one, I think that might be self explanatory. Maybe... replace the fist bump? Then allow it to only be initiated by the dog, then the sniper be the only one who can do it. After the taunt finishes, the sniper would have his Jarate instantly recharged.
honestly the gaurd dog is actually extremely useful it can be used to deliver snipers ammo for camping or enginner building up the turf and heavy and demoman plus the hater is just pure chaos and the main can be used as a portable turret
Yeah I remember this idea, but has always been just a fun thing to speculate on, I don't remember people taking it seriously (I mean, not even the creator took it as such). While a 10th class like this, is out of the question, maybe the concept of an underpowered extra support class could be used to revive the Arena gamemode. If you die, you don't just stand there and do nothing, but you can still atleast support the remaining teammates or something.
The dog class seems like a cool idea. Before I learned about the existence of Merasmus, I thought having a designated Wizard class would have been neat. Each equippable item is just a different kind of spell, allowing to mix up offense and defense as a specialist class (generally lower health pool too, like around spy health). I also hoped that if they add a new class, they should make that class an "unused" nationality to mix in with the identities of the mercenaries; I thought Italian might be pretty cool, or maybe some sort of Asian ethnicity (Laotian, Korean, etc)

For one of TF2's "lost/removed 10th classes" like the Civilian I would like to add the Commander - back in the early 2000s when TF2 was still in development hell and meant to be realistic, the Commander was to be a non-physical class - there would be only one per team, he wouldn't be ON the battlefield but be supervising it, giving general orders and calling special attacks like air strikes, and look at the map through the eyes of the other players + cameras Engineers could build
He was removed after the decision to make TF2 cartoony as the whole game in that stage was way too difficult to make it balanced and fun
there were also the Officer (playable) and the Instructor (non playable)
Also nobody would listen
I always thought the reason he was removed was just cause it would be annoying to have somebody screaming in your ear on what to do the whole time, which would get worse if you had a commander who didn't know what they were talking about.
CamelonE.128 it is actually the reason why the commander wasn’t added, and honestly, it’s a valid one
So spy have 2 enemies now besides pyro. The dog are hard to backstab & can find you by scent.

here's an entire insane Idea for a Class. Meet The Viralist:
similar to the engineer in only one aspect: building. you set up traps around the map, that unlike sentries or demo's stickies, are completely independent of themself. this isn't the main function, but it is one. these traps aren't harming so much as harassing, from the glue bucket, which halves the movement of a class when it falls on them, (activated by walking through a doorway it's planted on), the air canister, a ground placed one that fires an airblast to any player...
I like it!
interesting
to balance the guard dog a few things they could do is: 1 make the hanger fire like a tier 1 on sentry, 2 make it so the helper reduces the health\ammo on tier 2 and 3 by ether 15% or 20%, three give the guard dog some sort of voice modulator so It can use voice lines. 4 make the hater have a jump similar to the detonator's jump.

I swear I saw artwork of this guy somewhere but I can't find it anymore it was how I knew what he looked like
I've never heard of this but it sounds really interesting
I found the art you were looking for by putting “tf2 aviator class” in google.
That is just harrasmis
Very original idea
When in doubt, I look to cut content and see what among the unworkable items synergizes with each other best.
And honestly following that route, a tenth class would likely be a jack of all trades class. Something ironically not too far off from what the Guard Dog was described as.
wether you like it or not, if the Guard Dog was added it would definitely be a class
While I do think it is for the best if we keep the current classes, the guard dog, if refined a bit more, would be by far the most viable 10th class.
I heard about how there were supposed to be 2 new characters before valve called the Observer and the Technician
Maybe it'd be cool if there was a separate game mode that included the guard dog, that way others who don't like its inclusion/such a big change as an extra class don't have to deal with it/can choose to play how the game has been

Don’t forget the Guard Dog Class
I think the guard dog could be a good concept for a weapon for engineer like with the gunslinger it replaces your sentry with a robot dog that you can move using the constructor so if you need to move your sentry/dog you can point where to needs to go and the sentry will run there.
Wonder how would guard dog do partner taunts

Pootis Bird and Seal are the true new classes
@@mothichorror446
@mothichorror446 The class is meant to slow down scouts and hold a few routes down so the team doesent have to worry about being flanked.
This concept has a big chunky number to park in the enemy's way and that's about it.
whats the song at 5:50 called?

This is just me- but it would feel weird shooting a dog in a comedy styled video game.
Seems a bit... TOO dark even for TF2.
It will be be like an animation
The meter can also be refilled by picking up ammo boxes (which also give you mana potions).
if you'd like to continue with this concept we could talk some more about it
The main issue with the guard dog is having players shoot at a dog. It's not an idea that Valve really wants to deal with.
The one who was not respawn capable
this feels as big as a "lets act like this was always here" as much as madcap because I truly, truly, TRULY have NEVER heard of this and I've been playing TF2 for like 10 years now

there is only 2 styles. the tf2 style, and the one that happened around 2017 making things look bad now.
A cool idea for a class would be…. THE PILOT. He’s a Canadian pilot who has a plane for a secondary that extends from him. The plane fires missles and machine guns
Ooh that’s right! Dogs! The reused devil Rottweilers from Quake!
i would like it to be a 10th class, it would give the game more, experience and fun and more stuff to learn, but i can tell it will change the game a lot because of it but i don't, i am willing to see the doggy in this game and play as him fighting against the enemy teammates!
I can see the guard dog being a thing for the engineer to use as a mobile turret.
Not just that, f2p's cant use voice commands either
@SporianSummit Yes I know that. That's why I said they could maybe have certain voicelines be usable regardless of being F2P or not

We already have a 10th class, the sandwich.
Also, the dog would have to be implemented via a new PDA, allowing the Gunslinger to change the sentry type the dog could have, while also giving it a speed boost (yes it would have less health too).
the 10. class is so strong they made it into an icon everywhere globaly its like every class combined (?)
What i think is that in meet the sniper, he said "boom, headshot." Whit a class that looks suspicioly like the 10nt class, and that means sniper killed him, in the halloween update, its a grave that sayis "RIP the 10nt class"
Convoy (music said Convoy Fight)
It would be a very small class so hard to headshot and it would be very overpowerful class,no nerfs could save a class like that.
In one of the Team fortress that came before tf2 (dont rememebr which one of the 29 trillion) there was a "commander class" which bassicaly kinda forced the team to go where the commander wanted, it got removed because people hated it for obvious reasons
i think they should maybe redesign it if it gets add to like something engineer built out of scrap
(It's the only rapid fire primary I could think of)
For the Secondary, might be a unique combination of mechanics, like the sandvich medkit recharge, and a gun with no ammo.
Guard dog gets added
Demo or soldier blows him up
Dog parts everywhere

The "10:55..." doesn't work properly.
honestly the gaurd dog is actually extremely useful it can be used to deliver snipers ammo for camping or enginner building up the turf and heavy and demoman plus the hater is just pure chaos and the main can be used as a portable turret
If you die, you don't just stand there and do nothing, but you can still atleast support the remaining teammates or something.
no one needs this fake idea.

Question, how do u play the game mode with saxton hale bec I want to play it hit I can’t since I can’t find it

Some people think it was released in 2007, which it was, but the orange box was released in 2009. In which what he showed at the start.
the only reason i don't want the guard dog in the game cause i don't wanna see a dead dog ragdoll
