It was def my first dream car, still love it but the 488 spider is now my #1. But the F430 is much more realistic of a purchase for me and it’s still beautiful.
I bought the same Ferrari about a year ago. An 08 spider in Rosso Corsa. If you don’t like attention, don’t buy this car! It’s constant and doesn’t stop till you shut the garage door behind you. I’m incredibly happy with this car. It only had ten thousand kilometres on it when I bought it and has run perfectly. Nothing has gone wrong with it. For all the incredible enjoyment I get from it, it’s the best money I’ve ever spent.
I love mine. It offers an occasion or an experience each time you take it out. Sharing this with friends has been great. Anyone looking, I have been very pleased. I have 3 porsches and looked at GT3 RS = also nice but u couldn’t really experience it unles at a track. The F430 = it has emotion at all speeds. Thanks for a nice and spot on video.
Thanks so much for watching. It’s always great to hear from an owner. Really appreciate your comment. Stay tuned because I will be hopefully doing a Ferrari triple test of V8 models soon.
So true. I have the same Ferrari as well. Every time I take it out is such an event. The attention this car receives is unbelievable. You meet people constantly.
Have you had a chance to compare it to an LP 560? I am looking at a Ferrari/Lambo in the 150-200k'ish CAD price range and am stuck between both. Alternatively, don't buy either and wait/save for a 458 Spyder...
Great video!!! There is a completely different experience in Race mode shifting at redline however. The driver in this video has another 3000 rpm of beans to give from where the car was being shifted. The F430 is a terrific Ferarri. Wonderful cars, drive them and enjoy them!
Very promising channel. Love the classical music and the calm vibe of the presenter is refreshing. I like Donut Media but sometimes I feel like its too in your face, this feels like savage geese a bit but less boring almost.
It's even better if you can get one with a manual trans. Hard to find at decent price. I had my F430 converted by the guys at EAG and I LOVE IT! It woke up the car and gave me the control back instead of crap F1 system.
@@TheAutomobile when they work, they aren't bad. But it's known to be unreliable. Why spend 20K at Ferrari to repair F1 when you can pay 30k for true manual. Let's not forget the large bump in resale value. 😉
@@jeremiahthompson5958 sorry but the gated 6 speed sucks. You can’t even shift fast in it. Trouble going into gear and hard to shift from first to second. The F1 shifts faster...especially in Race Mode and with the CST off. You would never be able to keep up in either straight line acceleration or the track. The F430 was designed with the state of the art F1 system and E-Gear diff at that time. The 3 pedal was a total after thought and things don’t even line up properly in the stock shifter. The 360 3 pedal is actually better because it was designed that way for its era. I’ve had my F1 F430 since 2007. Love it. I also have a 3 pedal BMW E46 M3. This shifter is good and I can easily keep up or even beat SMG M3’s. The car was engineered for both and only came out with 3 pedal originally.
@@jeremiahthompson5958 big deal it’s not faster than an F1 and you know it. 😂🤣 I have my other 3 pedal car which was designed and engineered for that era. 👍
I would get one but the running costs are too high and its old so you never know what will break. Plus you have to treat all the sticky buttons which is alone a 4k job
As the rpm hover between 3-4000 all the 8 cylinder valves will be opened and closed; you can hear the mechanical clicking of the valves, despite the other loud engine and exhaust sound. This is audible only on a spyder with the roof down. In safe roads, an rpm of 6000+ will give you sound and acceleration that puts a permanent grin on your face for the whole day. I am still trying to convince myself to venture into other cars like porsche or astin M, or Lamb. No. not convinced there will be any enhancement in driving pleasure.
I was VERY lucky to be able to spend time with it. I got about three hours of driving in it and loved every second. Not to mention the number of people who looked at me in it (they were looking at the car, I know!) and even people asking me if I would rev it for them! More Ferraris coming in the near future. Got a video planned. Stay tuned!
Wait...what? Is it a Ferrari? Does it make you feel like a million dollars? Is it firm? Does it handle well? Sorry...I took a sip of tequila every time you said “Ferrari” and now I’m smashed. 😂
Dude what world do you live in??? When this car was made THERE HAD BEEN GPSs AVAILABLE FOR YEEEEEEARS ALREADY and there was even available as stock via a factory installed upgraded Becker unit from day one. Do your research better next time.
The F430 is still my favorite Ferrari of all time. It was my first dream car
Enzo is mine such a cool raw car. Shame a used Enzo sells for 5 million plus.

I'm considering one. Do you perform your own maintenance? How do you really know the mileage? I've heard many are falsified.

Yes, it is still a very very sweet machine! I love it!!!
Great video! F430 will always be one of my favorites! The design and the exhaust is just perfect😍
Thank you! Yes, one of mine too!
Had the opportunity to drive this amazing car yesterday and it was as incredible as i always dreamed of!
Like a bottle of rare red wine, she’s aging gracefully and that beautiful symphonic music from the tail-pipes in F minor is stupendous; bravo!!
The Ferrari F430 is becoming desirable among collectors. Clean, low mileage examples are starting to bring in big money.
Can’t wait to buy one one day, has been a dream caf of mine for as long as I remember, it’s just such a beautiful car
This has always been my teenage dream car coupe or spider. I'd take any.
Your channel just popped up in my auto play I greatly enjoyed the review can’t wait to see what else is coming from your channel

Dream car of mine. Would love to be able to afford one in my life. Hopefully I get a good job soon.
Thx for the great vid, Jay 👍👍
Absolutely one of my fav Ferraris. Guess I 'll get one for my small car collection in the near future ✌😎
Glad you liked it! Must be a good collection if you’re adding one of these?!

Agree probably one of my favorite exotics well the 458 is even better if one can wait for that car to depreciate.

Cars definitely had GPS in 2004...
It sounds like 4 cylinders
It doesn’t! Flat plane crank though so it’s never going to be like an American V8.
The last good looking Ferrari... Anything after this except the F12 is getting more and more monotone...
Haha! "No such thing as GPS when this was designed"..... My 2003 e46 M3 had GPS.
