Lanvin Eclat is a very popular fragrance here in Asia. We call it the "fairy perfume".
Versace bright crystal really goes well with Indian climate.. I got compliments when I wore this but only in that climate.. When we started living in Italy i drawn more towards crystal noir than bright crystal... Climate plays a huge part

I used to have Lanvin Eclat, its really pretty, I loved it for many years! I wore it in my 20s, I had the pink one too. Super girly along the lines of Chance Eau Tendre

CK Euphoria was my signature scent back when I was in university. I loved it so much and been debating whether I wanted to bring it back into my collection.
I had been wanting that perfume for years and never got around to it. I recently got it and I'm totally in love. It's timeless!!

I have smelled Bright Crystal before and I did think it was really nice, but, I never purchased it. I have worn Lanvin Eclat Arpege a long time ago. It used to be expensive. I also owned Euphoria and the body cream. It’s a really strong perfume. I don’t wear it anymore because I just got tired of it. Glad to have you back! 🤗💗
I use to wear CK Euphoria around the time it came out. I got a lot of compliments. It really lasts long on the skin too.

yes, yellow diamond is more substantial, not sharp and a bit sensual even, still inoffensive all (year) rounder. Champaca is a very expensive flower note (grows in India I tlink). The orchid note is just a perfumer's ''impression/interpretation'' as they actually don't smell ;)

I like Yellow Diamond better. It’s a little more citrusy and performs well! Both of my daughters in their 20’s love this as well. We had a sample of Bright Crystal and we each wore it once!

Hi Ilythia.. I feel happy and excited when u post another new perfume haul... 😊❤. Versace Bright Crystal is one of my favourite perfumes of all time. Yes, it smell sweet and shampooey.. and i remember it's the first perfume in my life that i feel like i can accept at 'those times' your nose are sensitive to perfumes.. example, i will sneeze to majority of perfumes when i wake up very early in the morning. I do agree bright crystal smell sharp (i used to call the sharpness , 'mercury' idk why) from a sniff on the bottle but when i did spray on my body, it's okay 👍.
I have smelled Eclat D' Arpege before but never purchase it. It such a really nice, easy and pleasant scent.
Lanvin Eclat surprisingly is the most complimented perfume I have in my collection. Considering the price is now really cheap. Stays longer too.
Hi Ilythia! As a 48 y.o I can say that yes as you get older time does seem to fly by faster. I also avoid doing the "I can't wait for" mostly. But I have to say that Summer just won't go away. Today it will be 36°c in Southern California. I don't know but it's just not giving me Fall vibes yet. 🤣 I'm ready for cooler weather!

Try the absolu version of bright crystal. You may like it better. Bright crystal was my friend’s signature scent. Those bottles are really beautiful. Crystal noir is my baby. The best one.

My favorite Versace perfumes are Yellow Diamond & Noir. Ck one was so popular when I was in middle school, but my old signature scent used to be Eternity.
I love bright crystal the original formulation was way stronger so I find the the bright crystal absolu is closer to the original formulation and it also is more fragrant on my skin in fall and winter.

lanvin eclat It's a beautiful perfume and hardly anyone knows it where I live. I don't understand how it is hardly talked about in the world of fragrances, it is a hidden gem. It literally smells like a magical creature like a nymph.

My favorite fragrance by Versace is Crystal Noir EDT, but I adore Bright Crystal and prefer it to Yellow Diamond (which I also love😅).

I have to fight the impulse and desire to buy every perfume I love too…and that’s not even factoring in the sample set and decants of entire houses that I’m curious about! But thankfully my desire to not have clutter and give each fragrance I own it’s own special time in the sun is just as strong lol

I had bright crystal absolute and decluttered it to my 20 year old niece. It sounds like I would like bright crystal EDT. I own Versace Eros pour femme EDP and love it! I haven't smelled the EDT version which sounds like the more popular Eros

I LOVE Euphoria. I don't understand why people don't talk about it more often.
I do prefer Yellow Diamond more, but I like bright crystal too. I didn’t think I did until I smelled it on someone else and had to ask them what they were wearing. I like it better in the air than up close. Yellow diamond is more lemony but it’s probably the only citrusy lemon scent that doesn’t smell like cleaner to me. Bright crystal smells more pink somehow, like pink flowers and light pink fruits.

I think Pink and Yellow are both beautiful. That being said, I do not own either! I prefer the Dylan fragrances from Versace and I have them both.

I love the smell of Bright Crystal, and my Mom wore it for a long time. However, that "sharp” note that you described doesn’t smell very nice on me. So, i love this perfume on everyone else, but not on me i guess. 😂

Tbh yellow diamond on my skin eventually starts to smell a little like dill/dill weed… it’s so weird and other reviews have mentioned the same! The opening is very beautiful though
I actually prefer bright crystal absolu :) it’s a bit sweeter, lasts longer and leaves a pretty scent trial.. and not as sharp imo

I use to own Bright Crystal and I could never put my finger on what it reminded me of...until I read the reviews on fragrantica and someone said it smells like expensive bathroom spray and it clicked for me! That's exactly it.
It was one of the biggest letdowns for me, unfortunately but I can definitely see the appeal.
Yellow Diamond is more to my liking.

I was so close to buying Eilish yesterday after spraying it on myself at Ulta but had to force myself to put it back. It turned weird on my skin after 10 minutes but changed back into smelling good an hour later. It was different but too risky for me to spend over $50 on a full bottle. I did blind buy Ari's Cloud and I like it but I'm surprised by how soft it is for an edp.
I'm one of the few ppl who just doesn't like Arianas perfumes, cloud included, and Billie Elish's. I don't know what it is bc I love sweet coconut scents but those just don't jive well with my skin. Also the Only One Intense as I don't like the coffee note. I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't like those. Oh well. I did just review Venom of Love and loooove that one and also the new Libre Le Parfum which that one surprised me. Can't believe how much I love those 2. Anyhoo good to know Billie Ellish's dries down weird on someone else other than me 😊
@@DanielleNicoleMakeup I have to say that I tested out Cloud on me today at work and it's a no for me. As much as it faded, it still lingered in an unpleasant way on my skin. I got super allergic to it and even changed my shirt at work. It was that bad. I let someone in my family have at it cause it was so disappointing for me.
@@vanydakhiev3910 oh my goodness. That sounds awful! I get breakouts bad and certain fragrances I can't spray near my chest or I break out in small bumps everywhere. I test out fragrances at work too (when we actually have testers) and I'm glad I'm able to do that!
@@DanielleNicoleMakeup that's awesome! I will say that I fell in love with Jimmy Choo's Jimmy Choo EDP. It lasted so long on my wrist and it didn't turn weird like other perfumes. I hate spraying perfumes on my arms cause it turns kinda smokey or something with my body chemistry. But I fell in love with the Jimmy Choo perfume and it's not super expensive either!
Eilish played games with my nose. I loved the first spray - then about 10 mins in it smelled like wine gums and nothing more. But the deep dry down was quite nice. Still I don't know if I'd want a bottle :/
I have a very simple rule when it comes to buying perfume. I don't buy a new bottle unless I have finished the old one. Of course like that you can't have a collection but I don't think the average person needs 20 perfumes. One that I really like and I can wear in various occasions does the trick for me.
I am glad summer is over. Had a rubbish summer - huge heatwave, and worked through almost all of it. I am glad it's a bit cooler. Sorry, I am no summer person.

Calvin klein euphoria intense is so much sweeter and more modern smelling than the original euphoria. I love the intense version so much! I think the intense version came out in 2021 or 2022.

I can’t remember what the Tocca fragrances smell like but many of them are gorgeous! I haven’t smelled the pink suede, and I’m not sure about the bouquet. I’m sorry I’m not much help!! I should get a discovery set of the Tocca and review them all ❤

I used to love Bright Crystal so much, I just got tired of wearing it. And believe it or not, I swear it smells so similar to the original Tory Burch, which I actually like better.

Love the Arpege, it is one of the few affordable lilac fragrances. So nostalgic. It is just a pity that it is so light .

How is 20 years ago vintage lol? I would still consider that modern.
If you look up vintage, it typically says 20-25 years old or more
Did I say it was vintage? 🤔 I don't recall but if I did, I honestly don't know what officially "makes" something vintage. Sometimes I'll refer to something as having a vintage flair or feeling vintage (although did I here? I don't know lol). However, the term modern I guess is subjective. Our technology today is vastly different than it was 20 years ago. So too are fragrances. But if you're comparing to the original Chanel No 5 from the 1920s, then yes, these are all modern. ❤️

Lanvin has some nice perfume but the longevity is just not there…
The French pronounce of Lanvin is Langvang, and Louis Vuitton is Lui Vuitong. Lancome is Langkom. I dont want to go after you, because I like your Tube, and I also not speaking proper English too, so I understand the difficulties of foreign words. just want to tell people who also wants to know how pronounce it right in French. Two fragrances that smell like wine or actually have a wine note in it are Guess 1981 Indigo and Si Intense 2021 version. My strongest coffee fragrance is by Dua and it’s called Coffee and Irish Whiskey.
