@@rivervalegroup Yes, I can see myself behind the wheel of a C4. I've owned a wonderful DS5 for 4 years here in UK but as I'm planning to live abroad soon a left-hand drive C4 is at the top of the list.
I like the body and interior design but I don't like the puretech engines as they can be troublesome. For example, the cambelt runs in oil and can sometimes prematurely break (just like the Ford Ecoboost engine.) Citroen customer service is not always up to scratch either. Good review as always thanks.
These puretech engines are reliable. Problem was with earlier 'Prince' engines that were developed together with BMW. They had timing chain issues just like in german VAG Tsi-engines. I would not buy a car with those engines or any car with DSG transmission. Puretechs are solid.
I would like to see a Cactus variant of this C4 at some stage, with a slightly raised ride height perhaps and the option of allgrip for us country folks.
@@rivervalegroup I am a CItroën fanatic to be honest with you. Loved them since aged 10 when my late brother had a Brand New Saxo 1.6i SX Auto. I had my first in 2005 05 C3 Exclusive Sensodrive 08 C2 VTR Sensodrive 11 C3 Exclusive Auto 14 C3 Picasso Exclusive EGS6 19 C4 Cactus Flair EAT6. The Cactus lovely car as it is I am finding it difficult to get in and out now so Motability allowed me to change it early and the new C4 ticked all the boxes.
I was looking at upgrading from my 17 plate astra elite. Wanted something more economical that is also good second hand buy, with good kit as standard. Do like the styling, it's between this or a Peugeot 2008.

I have just ordered one of these, collecting it in march, im going from a 2020 honda civic to the C4 1.2 puretech 130 Sense PLS 6SP Ss I have tried and failed to find a review on my one tho, every review seems to be regarding the highest or higher spec models, for example, i have gone with the urban grey cloth interior and the colour is caramel brown, it looks nice, felt comfortable but can someone give me a breakdown of what the difference will be between my Sense pls Ss model and say this one in the video?
Depends on the country... if you took the base model you dont get the radar, rear camera and sensors... other than that its the same With citroen the different models mostly offer cosmetic differences and safety options (rear camera, sensors, radar) This is why even when you look at the highest spec review, it also takes in what the base model has to offer ... Again the difference is mainly in safety and not driving experience/feeling
@@RePlayBoy101 I appreciate the reply but unfortunately i cancelled my order, the salesmen (official citroen dealership) lied to me about when the car would arrive and about some of the technical specs, he'd told me that mine would have most of the top features but upon seeing one in that spec in person i noticed the differences were more than i was willing to pay for so i walked away because i'd hate to think what else he'd lied about.
I ordered this car in July 2022, its now April 2023 and still hasn't arrived in the UK ! Be careful when ordering any vehicle from Stellantis / Citroën
I euthanised my beloved and brilliant 25 year old Citroen ZX 1.4i Avantage 18 months ago. Citroen would never have me back if I could afford another car :( However this is the right design for me if I ever did, if it is not too wafty to drive - and this great review says it is not. It would suit my country walks, muddy / gravelly car parks and overnight touring lifestyle very well.
That's great to hear, thank you for watching. If you're ever in the market for a new Citroen, we're more than happy to get you behind the wheel of one. We supply every make and model in the UK 👍
Excellent review! Our 12 years old C5 X7 Hdi sedan was hit by a young Audi driver. Insurance company is supposed to call me soonish if its viable to repair it anymore. It seems unlikely as the rear axle was broken. The A4 rolled on the road and was pretty much totaled. Its a shame as I would have wanted to keep driving our beloved C5. It was comfy and reliable cruiser. Fuel consumption of the 2-liter diesel was conservative and it had 70 liter tank. You could drive 1400 km with a full tank! I have been horrified of the ranges that EV's provide. Fuel prices are going up and it seems to get worse. Electricity will undoubtedly go up too and ranges seem very modest to my liking. I'm not sure what to do now. I have been watching some car videos as I like to be informed of what's state of affairs in cars. This C4 is not the sedan I would prefer but seems otherwise perfect to me. C5 X seems kind of outlandish to me. 508 is more to my taste but I like C4 more because of its comfort, dampeners, seats, physical buttons. World seems crazy right now and there's no way to know what future holds. Also, Full electric EV's with much better ranges should be coming in a couple of years. I miss my C5 but it seems I have to let it go. Let's see if I buy a car at all for the next couple of years.

I was impressed with the interior of a DS the other week. Comfy cars as well. Just wouldnt buy one, only because im not a fan of French cars in general.
Would you buy the new Citroen C4?
Yes 🖖😊

Oui! 🙂
No.wet timing belt very bad idea needs a timing chain
I certainly would.
I drove one as a rental car in Spain. Great suspension. Has real road presence and looks futuristic. Very comfortable.
Brilliant to hear, Pavlo. 👍 Do you see yourself behind the wheel of one?

We have just ordered a new one in grey, fabulous car replacing our fabulous DS4
Great choice Sarah! What made you go with the C4 over other models?
Always great reviews guys.
Thanks for watching, Jay 👍

It's suspension actually works!

I remember when I bought my Peugeot 405 1.6GR 93K I had to change the timing belt at 24k miles.

I’m taking delivery on Friday a C4 1.2 155 Shine Plus EAT8 in the same red as you drove, will be coming from a 2019 C4 Cactus 1.2 110 Flair EAT6.
I would like to see a Cactus variant of this C4 at some stage, with a slightly raised ride height perhaps and the option of allgrip for us country folks.
That's great news, Lee. Enjoy your new car! What made you pick the C4 over other models?
That would be great to see 👍

Sucks
It sucks that other cars don't have a smooth ride like this C4
