I'm wondering if the M1Max on the Mac Studio performs a bit better than the same chip on the Macbook Pro due to better cooling and larger power supply. I think the result would be very interesting. I've ordered the Mac Studio already and it‘s still on the way and I'm now a bit skeptical about whether I should take the Mac Studio considering the fact that my workflow is mainly on LRC.
Nope just the same. And slightly worse in some program, review should be out today. For LRC just watch my video on the M1 Max laptop performance and you'll get a good idea for how these would perform.

@@ArtIsRight maybe you could just speak about it and show the Apple dB charts and explain the difference between mac mini dB, macbook pro 0 dB and Mac Studio 15dB and what this means. Because I think some dont understand that 5 to 15 dB is a substantial difference
It depends, for me I had an expectation. It can be annoying but I can cope with it. But knowing that my laptop with the same SoC can be quite, I am expecting more....
No, I 'll have another video showing that once I get in the ultra, but that might not make much sense to do since every volume level would be different anyways and the speakers that everyone listening on is different too.
I hear you but then there will always be something else to wait for. If a creative need a machine now they should just get it, make use of it and then if anything sell it off later and just update.

Guys to be honest I don’t care what my computer fan makes it could be as loud as a jet I want that thing to be cooled especially when I am using Final Cut Pro and editing videos I want it to be cool
@@ArtIsRightell I have been using a Lenovo ideapad flex for a while and it always made a fan noise so haha when I go to a computer that isn’t making noise to me it’s weird but that’s just me haha. I upgrade to a Mac mini m2 pro last month and it’s been great I have gotten used to the silence

It is still there but depending on the ambient sound in the room, chances are you won't really hear it.

Yeah if you are in a quiet room you will hear it. Some one else who had the ultra commented that his was quiet, so we shall see when I get mine in.

Not sure what to advise you on this one, I just put mine under the desk and I don't notice it as much.
Hoping for a firmware fix from apple. Lots of people have this problem with their Mac studios

Same here! Disappointed Apple.. My M1 Pro 16 inch is dead silient. I set the fan to minimum RPM but the noise still there... Annoying

It is not, this is a video that is hard to do because each person speakers would be different, Let me see what I can do.

No, it is just the fan noise consistence hum not a whine

I have no issue with the fan during use but I realised the fan is still after sleep?
Fan turned off in sleep mode.
