This is my favorite scene in Breaking Bad. Heisenberg to these dudes was basically a myth or a legend. They weren’t even sure if he was one man. And when they realized they were face to face with him, they acknowledged him.
Bruh u so right on that on that it's like a graffiti artist finally meeting Banksy ..like damn I really didn't even think u existed I figured u were made up by some group and the way Declan reacts and says "You're Heisenberg" really is the stuff of Legend
Yo l never thought of it that way..u right..they thought he was a myth..
The acting is this scene is incredible. Especially the way Declan trembles with fear when he realises who is speaking to .
It's more admiration and awe. The equivalent of a komodo dragon seeing Godzilla
Declan wasn’t scared of anyone. Sure he was out of his depth but he had the heart of a lion and was willing to go toe to toe with Walt regardless of his reputation. Declan didn’t bow down to any man, it would go against everything he stood for.
He doesn't tremble with fear lol
@@H.K.5 Declan is a hero
I like how Walt advertises and talks about his customers like he’s the CEO of a corporate company.
Believe it or not, even in such business that way of behavior is respected. Of course, that is if you look above the street level.
That’s actually part of what makes this show so good. Especially Gus, he acts as if his meth empire was like a massive company. And for Walt it’s all because the massive company he should have been part of was taken from him.
He's in the Empire Business
Well yeah that’s the whole point. Ever since he was robbed of his position at Grey Matter Walt wanted a business that he can control with no one to answer too

@@carlo_cali Ok. He destroyed lives in the show's universe. Does that sound better?
@@heisenberg1648 no he supplied them with a highest quality available with no impurities added.
How with drugs?? Thats on them lmao
Pretty sure that wasn't why Mike was shaking his head here, as much as he hates Walt. He was trying to tell Declan's side, "no, he's not bullshitting, he's telling the truth." He did have a vested interest in the success of the deal, after all.
The look from Mike when Jessie looks over at him... that kills me every time. Mike knows what it means to get 'stuck' in the game; to be forced to continue as the danger mounts. And I think he doesn't want that for Jesse and knows exactly why Walt said it. We've seen Mike have to play this out over and over again, starting in BCS with Werner and with Nacho.
Mike is just trying to mKe it to retirement. You can see the pain in his face. He's stuck. Reminds me of Pacino in donny darko. Old school men who follow orders till the end.
The balls on Walt here are insane. He knew that they would think about just killing him to eliminate the biggest competitor. He KNEW that but was also confident that he could convince them not to. Also, even if they did kill him he would die knowing it was because of how good he was. He always lacked recognition and notoriety. He wins either way.
The weird/ironic thing is how in the end he recieved an outrageous amount of recognition and notoriety for all the worse reasons (criminal psychopath murderer drug empire overlord type stuff.) I think he would have still enjoyed it if he could have kept his family though.
