@@tgh1806 it's practically a review. People have their own preferences. I don't seem to see anything wrong with voicing his thoughts on it. Considering as to how some of the people whom i know have been facing similar problems. 1. Touch screen problems 2. Overheating problems 3. Battery life problems Which he's listing based on how he used the product itself. To a certain degree, some may have similar uses like him, with similiar circumstances. As in going through the same problems as the reviewer, but haven't purchased the rog flow yet. Thus, him doing this video can be something useful to take into consideration.
Bro.. don't be silly. You compare something that is not apple to apple. No gadget has 100% perfect. Before you buy a product, do the research you need then buy an iPad instead of laptop

No offense, but you would have to carey around something. The lightest laptop is about 1kg. So you only dave a few hundred grams, vs any other device. Comparing that to a tablet is unfair, because it it not a tablet, its a laptop, that can be used as a tablet. What you need is a tablet. But if you bought it because you needed a tablet, its not the computer that has the problem.
He said a valid point but the issue that all this dudes vids revolve around returning and not buying devices which i find odd...you cant find a perfevt device honestly
I think the guy is correct. This is no laptop to use as a Ping Pong Racket. Actually you can purchase a regular Ping Pong Racket for 1/100 of the price of this laptop. 0 stars.
1. You can power this thing with an universal 60w portable charger for traveling. (Yes you loose some power for heavy duty tasks) 2. It works perfectly with surface pen. I no longer need to carry 1laptop + 1 tablet in my backpack. 1+ kg saving.
The device wasn't the issue then. The title is kinda misleading. I was expecting proper criticism on the device, not a realization about why you should've bought a tablet instead of a 2in1. Isn't there a silent mode to fix the fan noise?.
@@ChefDaniel508 it's not too late to meet that girl (I don't see why you couldn't be with one like that). Brain dead video....there are plenty of flaws in this iteration of a gaming laptop but this guy covers his emotions as it relate to the machinery instead.
This laptop is currently on sale......I was looking for insight, but all I got was disappointment. You should have just brought your samsung phone and used dex on your hotels tv. Or bought a chromebook. You're not exactly working or gaming. Why did you bring your laptop anyway if you didn't plan on using it. Just use your phone.
Maybe you should have thought a little more about what you REALLY want out of a device, than just picking something up and then complaining about everything it isn't. Just because a product doesn't suit your specific needs doesn't necessarily make it overall disappointing. It's okay to regret buying the laptop, but why not review the laptop fairly with your biases out of the way. Why not look at it from another's perspective? I almost thought this review was satire at first. Maybe change your channel name to "Narrowminded Review Zone", and keep on being completely honest.
Have you tried the Asus ROG Flow Z13 tablet? I like them more than my 2021 X13 because the fans are pointed upwards on the tablet and is more noticeably cooler. To me, the fans are a little quieter too.
but u must think about z13's keyboard which is its come with magnet detachable. once its broken like maybe not connected or suddenly disconnected, the keyboard replacement its little bit pricey🤏🏻
bruh just stop those aren't even real reasons..i carry my x13 to college with bag half full of books and you say it feels heavier with underwears in bag🤡ps: just click this video off total waste of time he is just a "ipad" fanboy
While most of your points are not what keep me from buying it because well, it is a Laptop after all and not a tablet, the heat problem does keep me away as in another review it was said the heat takes a toll on the performance and that while on paper it is quite good it actually sucks for video editing in a real world scenario. Which is a shame because I thought I'd finally found a nice on the go editing laptop.
I don't understand how it is heavy even when with luggage. I am a woman and I find the laptop to be very light. I used to own a 5lbs (2.5kg) laptop from 2012 which was so much worse.
Buy any gaming laptop, and you'll fight with fan noise. Looks like you never had a gaming laptop. They are all hot, heavy and noisy. When you have average 2+ kg gaming laptop. This one is lightweight. Then you just telling that you don't need it. It's not the reason to avoid it.
Thanks for the heads up! Was thinking about this one just from the sleek looks. Guess i will go for a thinkpad x1 carbon as i dont even plan on gaming on this device. 1x 👍
Hi and nice video about the Flow X13. I have 3 questions, if I may: 1. Which model if you use, a 2022 or 2023? 2. Is it a 32GB ram version? 3. Does the device go crazy with 10 Gbts USB SSDs? I guess because I have a Flow z13 2023 and this only causes problems with USB SSDs and storage media if they are not slowed down to at least USB 3.0 or 2.0 speed. Even outside of the operating system.
Respectfully disagree with you. its like saying, I keep making phone calls from my laptop... why dont i just get a phone?? both things have different primary use cases. I love my flow. the beauty about the flow? I can bring my gaming laptop, my tablet, and my steam deck/switch and it will still be less weight than my beefy 330W gaming laptop.
Try to use 99 percent instead of 100 too for the CPU. So it doesn't Boost all the time. Learned it some time ago so it doesn't abuse the CPU. My G14 is now bearable. Initially was so hot and hated using it. Thinking of getting the 4070 version of this or the G14 4070 2024. This laptop is more for creators and us designers. Clearly not for this guy.
Anyone who has th x13 (2023), hows the battery life? I plan on purchasing a laptop for university and this laptop speaks out the most to me, but my main concern is the battery life.
Sorry for this late reply, I'm using the Base Model (GV302XA) for 2 months in university already. I'm always set below 30% screen brightness, keyboard backlight on, 60hz, battery saver, silent mode with power limits in G-Helper, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi always on for my stylus and tws earbuds, it usually drains about 10% per hour in my using case. It's basically not as good as my friend's Zenbook but I'm happy with it (Also there's a time I secretly play Honkai Star Rail in class (15w/20w/25w) and it drains 15% in 30 minutes hehe)
Yeah, you shouldn't have a laptop at all, no matter the model. Just get a tablet. X13 is the best laptop I've had from light gaming to light CAD and rendering in a size and weight class half of what my old carry on device used to be.
Try restricting the max CPU usage from the power settings. Make a profile and restrict the CPU to e.g 10% (max CPU Usage 10%) then use that profile for browsing the internet, and the other one for gaming
I used my flox 16 in GPU disabled, manual fan curves and low CPU power because you don't need all that power day to day. and to game, I put it in reverse tent mode (so the hot air directly exhausts up) - it did not breach 60 degrees CPU and 75 degrees on all max settings (mind you in india with 27 degree ambient) it's not that bad if you put sometime to tune it to your liking. it's no macbook definitely that you pick up and go.
Need a cooking with Daniel air fryer vid soon. Miss those, also miss the days when you were in Japan making those meals. Hope your well Dan, I’ll never forget the time we played rainbow 6 lol
dude mine is fine, not sure why yours gets hot over basic things. Maybe try updating the BIOS also its going to make your backpack heavier because it has weight to it. Like honestly this is by far the lightest gaming laptop Ive owned and Ive had more than just a few lol
Figure about 1.5 KG if you add a keyboard to the 12.9 iPad Pro. I've had the 12.9 and currently have a 11" iPad Pro. Based on your use description, either would be perfect. That, or an M2 Air 13 with 16GB and a 1 TB SSD.
Install linux on it - linux does nothing unwanted in the background. Fan in my XPS while watching YT went from crazy and 3h to quitet with 12h on batterry.

(Honestly really lite) I think his arguments are just stupid and pointless. I owe one myself and you just gotta deal with new things that come with buying a laptop. It's not our problem he spent ridiculous amount of money for stupid issues that he can't get over. And he wants to solve the problem by spending more money.@@ignatiusloyolamulti1186
@@tgh1806 it's practically a review. People have their own preferences.
I don't seem to see anything wrong with voicing his thoughts on it. Considering as to how some of the people whom i know have been facing similar problems.
1. Touch screen problems
2. Overheating problems
3. Battery life problems
Which he's listing based on how he used the product itself.
Interest take on this piece of hardware, honestly it'd be the best device for me because it can replace my desktop, ipad and laptop. All in one. Let's wait for a refresh and see if it's worth buying. For now I'll just stick with my PC + Asus Rog Ally.
Panasonic, NEC or LG for non Mac light notebooks.
by watching your playlist, mostly you were unhappy about the purchases you'd made!
I do 3D rendering at full power on RTX 3060, CPU renders and Radeon also. No fan or heat issues whatsoever. Sorry mate. Best 2in1 ever.
He said a valid point but the issue that all this dudes vids revolve around returning and not buying devices which i find odd...you cant find a perfevt device honestly
I replaced Armoury crate with G helper and it has made a SIGNIFICANT difference.
I think the guy is correct. This is no laptop to use as a Ping Pong Racket. Actually you can purchase a regular Ping Pong Racket for 1/100 of the price of this laptop. 0 stars.
1. You can power this thing with an universal 60w portable charger for traveling. (Yes you loose some power for heavy duty tasks)
I was expecting a gf with massive bum and tits but I guess we both disappointed in life
@@ChefDaniel508 it's not too late to meet that girl (I don't see why you couldn't be with one like that). It's not too late to buy a tablet to take for travel and leave that 2in1 home (it's powerful enough to be a common daily driver laptop). And It's not too late to change the title of the video or make a more suitable description, so you stop getting that many dislikes and negative feedback (not saying that you care about it because I don't know if you do).
been trying since 2010 all i get is flat ass milfs
I use my 21 X13 with a small but stable, well adjustable, foldable and rather lightweight laptop stand, it's amazing that way!
can I get a link to that product???
is this the ''hiding in my room'' guy who was making drama on youtube about 8 years ago? :D wtfffff
Same. He looks like that dude that I'm inclined to believe they're the same person.
''Expert Review Zone'' no, no you ain't LMAO
I was using 2022 model and had exactly same problem, so i sell it and buy Legion Go but the screen is too small. Come here to see if the problem get fixed in 2023 model, especially with Ryzen and RTX get better efficiency. Well i will stick to Legion Go as a tablet for now.
Sounds like you got the wrong device. How is this a review.
i regret I didn't bought a gaming laptop but when movie ends in the night my laptop is 100% silent
I found this video incredibly revolting
Try looking in mirror
" so i wanted to take my coffee with me and i bought a pair of pants with deep pockets but then i realized a cup is way better than a pair of pants so i got a cup"
Brain dead video....there are plenty of flaws in this iteration of a gaming laptop but this guy covers his emotions as it relate to the machinery instead.
Instead of reviewing the laptop, please review the user...
Rog flow user here, the laptop is good when it works, every 2 months mine does battery charging issues, regret buying it because it isnt reliable
This guy's channel is called expert reviews. Lol! 🤣🤣🤣
that's ironic af
this dude knows nothing about tech shits
Sooo... you don't like the laptop because you don't need it 🤣This was not a review it was a rant session.
Dude, in every review, you buy a product and you end up making a review for some other random product while holding a random device in your hand.
Have you tried the Asus ROG Flow Z13 tablet? I like them more than my 2021 X13 because the fans are pointed upwards on the tablet and is more noticeably cooler. To me, the fans are a little quieter too.
but u must think about z13's keyboard which is its come with magnet detachable. once its broken like maybe not connected or suddenly disconnected, the keyboard replacement its little bit pricey🤏🏻
bros complaining on 50 degree? thats really good bro
Oh, I see the problem. You are the problem.
Different tool for different jobs. I use a lightweight ultrabook when traveling. And use a more powerful machine when doing real work.
thankyou very much i will consider others
bruh just stop those aren't even real reasons..i carry my x13 to college with bag half full of books and you say it feels heavier with underwears in bag🤡ps: just click this video off total waste of time he is just a "ipad" fanboy
If you don’t want gaming during holidays, why you bring a gaming laptop?
He didnt know about his needs
Men before: I can lift Stone and Woods 🗿
East Asian Men: uuwaaahhhh😭 my bag is 1.5 kgs
this might just be the worst video i have ever watched on laptops 🙏
Buy any gaming laptop, and you'll fight with fan noise. Looks like you never had a gaming laptop. They are all hot, heavy and noisy. When you have average 2+ kg gaming laptop. This one is lightweight. Then you just telling that you don't need it. It's not the reason to avoid it.
delete the expert off ur channel's name bruh what is bro yapping abt
Thanks for the heads up! Was thinking about this one just from the sleek looks. Guess i will go for a thinkpad x1 carbon as i dont even plan on gaming on this device. 1x 👍
Hi and nice video about the Flow X13.
I have 3 questions, if I may:
Sounds like a YOU problem
Kids nowadays, these new generations are soft... Please hit a gym, to be able to carry your whole office in 2 kg is nothing to complain about. 🤦🏻♂️
Hes not an gadget expert, and i think that this dude is joking rn 😂
So you get hot and sweaty when you eat, and you just want something with the capabillities of a phone to check email and the news?
For comparation what do you take if have option to buy razer blade 14 or Asus Flow X13?
Don't ask him
blade 14 should be compared with zephyrus g14, ignore this guy's opinion
Respectfully disagree with you. its like saying, I keep making phone calls from my laptop... why dont i just get a phone?? both things have different primary use cases. I love my flow. the beauty about the flow? I can bring my gaming laptop, my tablet, and my steam deck/switch and it will still be less weight than my beefy 330W gaming laptop.
Hi there, I am looking to buy the RoG Flow Sleeve that they sold specifically for our laptops. Did have one?
same question here, but i don't see anywhere sells it
Try to use 99 percent instead of 100 too for the CPU.
1,1k dislikes btw. Don't watch it, and go away
shutup
@@ChefDaniel508 😱
Omg, are you "hiding in my room"!?
Sounds like what u wanted was the Flow Z13...
Just a detail, but I dont understand why are you doing this video mirrored... if the ponit is to show the device. No clue.
It's basically not as good as my friend's Zenbook but I'm happy with it (Also there's a time I secretly play Honkai Star Rail in class (15w/20w/25w) and it drains 15% in 30 minutes hehe)
you look familiar...like that guy that hides in his room. 🤔
what did I tell you? the fans of Asus are LOUD
This is the biggest challenge I’m finding with gaming laptops, I got a Lenovo Legion 7 and its great except for the fans which are obnoxiously loud
@@Archivist42Isn't the quite mode pretty quiet? My Lenovo slim 5 14 quiet mode is inaudible
Only Asus fans?))
@@Ven0mSRT Probably others too
@@zzz-vd5rp its still loud
Dude, you’re getting roasted in the comments. It’s brutal.
Make a profile and restrict the CPU to e.g 10% (max CPU Usage 10%)
then use that profile for browsing the internet, and the other one for gaming
the comment section is just a roast sesh to the geezer 😂😂
I used my flox 16 in GPU disabled, manual fan curves and low CPU power because you don't need all that power day to day. and to game, I put it in reverse tent mode (so the hot air directly exhausts up) - it did not breach 60 degrees CPU and 75 degrees on all max settings (mind you in india with 27 degree ambient)
it's not that bad if you put sometime to tune it to your liking. it's no macbook definitely that you pick up and go.
Bro don't make videos please. This review is extremely irrational.
Need a cooking with Daniel air fryer vid soon. Miss those, also miss the days when you were in Japan making those meals. Hope your well Dan, I’ll never forget the time we played rainbow 6 lol
im playing r6 now
HOw hot is it whe you play games?
dude mine is fine, not sure why yours gets hot over basic things. Maybe try updating the BIOS also its going to make your backpack heavier because it has weight to it. Like honestly this is by far the lightest gaming laptop Ive owned and Ive had more than just a few lol
its laptop, not a tab
wait isn't this around $900? why is he saying that he bought it for $1600? scammed?
no? its like $2000 on amazon uk
@@ChefDaniel508 What's the GPU? I was talking about Radeon 780M.
@@AliZarei-of3wp mine is rtx 4050
are you hiding in my room?
What you NEED is the samsung galaxy tab 9. Not a laptop. Rename your video. You bought the wrong item.
52 degree is reallly got?
If you bought the 4070 version it's a big mistake it uses like half the power so it act like a 3060 ti in there you should go for max 4060
Figure about 1.5 KG if you add a keyboard to the 12.9 iPad Pro. I've had the 12.9 and currently have a 11" iPad Pro. Based on your use description, either would be perfect. That, or an M2 Air 13 with 16GB and a 1 TB SSD.
i wouldnt get the keyboard
@@ChefDaniel508 That's how I use my 11". No keyboard. I still have a MBP but for casual use, the iPad is great! Plus the pencil can be useful.
I use the same device and I haven't had any overheat issues not to much noise in silent mode.
in cs2 there is min 70 fps with lots of load, which is super playable.
u should turn on the battery saver mode, then it wont get hot or fan noise
After this experience you wish u had the m3 ?
we need a live stat.
maybe tomorrow if gf goes to work
Install linux on it - linux does nothing unwanted in the background. Fan in my XPS while watching YT went from crazy and 3h to quitet with 12h on batterry.
This laptop is a game changer best of both worlds! Find me a decent gaming laptop light weight with touch screen
If you want to know how heavy it is just buy Alienware or Lenovo razer, omen if you like lightweights then buy a MacBook
Panasonic and NEC make light machines, as does LG.
