Highway to hell is a reference to being on the road traveling in a band going from town to town, city to city, state to state, and eventually for them country to country. The song highway to hell, was written by Angus Young after a long tour and getting off a bus a reporter asked him what it's like to tour like this and he said it's a highway to hell. For the highway to hell song is in reference to going on tour actually.
LOVE that song. Everytime I hear it these days it reminds me of a great little story from my days as a paramedic in Charlotte NC..... We got a call for a Delta 47 (gunshot wound, verified victim in possible critical condition), we hit the road and were on the "Inner Loop 285" heading to the call when Dragula came on the radio. My partner was driving and he leaned over and cranked it ALL the way up. We arrived on scene a couple of minutes later with "Dig through the ditches, burn through the witches" pouring out of our windows. 2 cops that were on perimeter control were smiling and shaking their head as we jumped out of the bus and grabbed our shit. One of the cops looked at me and said "Now THAT is how you make an entrance!" (If anyone cares, the patient was shot a couple of times in the right chest and right leg, was critical the whole time we were with him, but we got him to the hospital alive. I have no idea what happened after that, but we did our job.)

Every time I hear this song I cant help smiling. First time I ever heard any part of this song was in 11th grade. I went to a small Christian school and the first class of the day was Bible class. One of the guys from my class came into the room singing "I'm on a highway to hell". I thought our teacher was going to loose it. The look on the teachers face was priceless! Given up would be good too, very heavy Linkin Park song imo
Their first album is rlly good idk about the rest but id recommend a place for my head
@@JDubz891 thats not heavy at all i would say but the lyrics is
I think it's pretty heavy, it has a fat guitar riff and along with Chesters vocals it sort reminds of a .5: the gray chapter era slipknot in a way
"Why your hair never get in your mouth?! lololol I was not expecting that comment! Had me dying!! lolol
The song highway to hell, was written by Angus Young after a long tour and getting off a bus a reporter asked him what it's like to tour like this and he said it's a highway to hell. For the highway to hell song is in reference to going on tour actually.
"WAit Hold on... That aint the promise land..."🤣🤣🤣 Hell yea Shaq I'm finna get you some more sucribers once i show my friends lol
Yo Shaq...
Just saying what's up from Miami

React to TNT or Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap by AC/DC
@Blaine Hawks and it's a long way to the Top (if You want to Rock and Roll) and more, But Bon Scott versions!
Watching this 2 yrs after you posted and I been to 5 a.c./dc concerts in my day best experience ever!!
Every time I look for reaction, here go Shaq with another one. This is good stuff.
HEY METALHEAD SHAQ .... You reacted to "Ace Of Spades" by Motorhead, yet?
Geoff Keil Or maybe Orgasmatron
Avenged Sevenfold NIGHTMARE
React to Dragula from Rob Zombie
Oh yes.
I dont think he could handle Rob right now.
One of the cops looked at me and said "Now THAT is how you make an entrance!"
(If anyone cares, the patient was shot a couple of times in the right chest and right leg, was critical the whole time we were with him, but we got him to the hospital alive. I have no idea what happened after that, but we did our job.)
ROB ZOMBIE ROB ZOMBIE ROB ZOMBIE
Yes, no one does this reaction. Awesome song
"No stop signs, speed limit, HAH, nobody's gonna slow us down." I'm dead bro 🤣🤣🤣
I'm not a metal fan but we need more metalhead shaq just for the sheer laugh.
No stop signs..... YAYYYY
Suicidal tendencies- you can’t bring me down the songs lit my guy I promise you that
Dude I can just imagine first time I hear it I wanted to break down the wall like the coolaid mad

Thanks for the laughs Shaq !!
He’s awesome.
Great reaction as always, my favorite one's to watch are your metal ones. AC⚡DCs Let There be Rock is another good one✌🎶
This song was written about traveling around Australia across the Nullabor from Sydney to Perth apparently it was hell
Bro! This is my favorite video yet!
You put my mans in there with Ja? You wrong for that one
Anthrax, BRING THE NOISE!!! RUSH Closer to the Heart LIVE for the best base player in the world. Boston Foreplay/Long Time for the power rock of the early 70's.
Btw this is not metal. Its hard rock and roll. Metal is bands like slayer iron maden even metalica i mean in my opinion
Exactly...I usually refer to this as “straight ahead rock and roll”...
Metallica is a bit more thrash or atleast they were before they started to suck
We don't care. It's a black man who never listened to any form of rock n roll while growing up. Let him enjoy the ride
when I backpacked around the world in the early 90's we only had walkmans for portable music, choosing which tapes to take was hard, as an aussie boy who loves his hard rock an acdc compilation tape was in the chosen set - I used to listen to this track on every flight I caught trying to time the drums kicking in with lift off!
Shaq. Man, I had some hard times, I had some stuff to go through, cost me a lot of my memory. I listen to some of these songs and it brings something back, I can feel it and I remember the feeling. Seeing you respond to the rock I grew up on, that I'm relearning, makes me feel like we're going through the same expert. Sending you love man. You keep making, and I'll keep watching.
Yo I don’t know what highways you’ve been on Shaq but I don’t remember them having stop signs anyway 😂💀💀
3:01
Shaq: Bro he said there's no stop signs...
"Yay"
Music is the one connection that everyone can come together on!! Awesome how open minded you are!! Their will never be another one like AC/DC... 🤟🏻
This song was actually about life on the road when they first started. There was this dangerous highway where people died constantly and it was the only way to get to the gigs
I just love how much he loves are favourites, bra u make me laugh so hard that I cry every single time.
Check out more old school AC/DC, this is Bon Scott the original lead that passed away. He is far superior to Brian Johnson.
Album sales beg to differ.
@@davedammitt7691 yeah 3 or 4 before he died VS 10 or more with Johnson. Duhhhh that's like a one legged man in a ass kicking contest.
You're thinking of Stairway to Heaven, which you should also review!
You crack me up! Thank you for being you!!!
Put him in coach! He’s been practicing 😂 certified major league metal head! Doing the damn thang #thatstough
ACDC "It's a long way to the top" with Bon Scott singing. They were playing from the back of a flat bed truck driving through Melbourne in Australia. Great Angus solo and Bon gets busy on the bag pipes.
Many many many years ago AC/DC played near a city of mine and it got so lit that angus got on the back of Brian like with his guitar got on the dudes back and they ran around the place with angus ripping a solo these guys always brings performance to the people who appreciate it lol
Man I wish that we had cell phones back then! If I had gotten that on video it would have won me some money on America's Funniest Home Video's for sure!
The GOAT of reactions bro love your vids
Why is shaq the best?
Because he loves music, all of it..,
Keep it up man🤙🏼😉
Oh and the funniest reactions I've ever seen. I howled when he said, "why's he looking at me?"
