Edit: Some people seem to not get it so I'll explain. On one hand there is the manager who has known the athlete for years, has an active reason to want him to take drugs and the means to give it to him without his knowing. House is a doctor that he met very recently who has no reason to lie to him and if he did would be risking his own career. Also by saying he went to college he is implying that he has training and probably knows what he's talking about.
I can just imagine Plankton from Spongebob saying "I went to College!!!"

My dad had myasthenia gravis. First they thought he was having a heart attack,then cancer before finally diagnosing MG. Lived for 13 years before all the struggles he battled got to the point of no return. Gone almost 2 years now. 😔 He thought it was cool though seeing his rare illness on an episode of house.
Sorry for your loss but I agree that it's really cool to see this show shine light on rare and uncommon diseases to help people become more aware of what can happen to the body. Despite the malpractice of the actors as doctors (no gloves)

Udhay Kumar House is a good doctor in most aspects. But he doesn't stand a chance in a real hospital. But yes, House is one of the best characters on the show. My other favourites are Chase, Cameron, Foreman and Kutner. I like all the other doctors too, but those five are my absolute favourites.
@sheldon pereira its the patients choice if they choose to sue them or not. If he just saved his life and his career the patient would probably be less likely to sue. Unless they are just a god awful person. But you'd probably know all about that, ya troll

This episode is very personal for me, as I have Myasthenia Gravis. When they gave me the tensilon test it was similar reaction for me, for 10 minutes. 40 odd years later, I’m doing fine and am grateful for the medication available to control my MG.

@@laserbeam3836 It can't happen due 1. They'd be more expensive to get them all back. 2. Ratings have fallen a lot with all shows so this will likely end like most revivals and get axed after 1 season. Think Will and Grace. Those kind of ratings are not good enough for the big 4 networks.
The only way it could work is if Netflix were willing to foot the bill. This is assuming all actors are willing to come back.
I have a friend that has Myasthenia Gravis. It initially impacted her vision, actually. Eventually did affect her face, but once she began treatment they both largely reversed.
I started having similar symptoms a few months who and just got tested for it. Apparently I may cleared but there is no clear explanations yet.

My grandmother died from myasthenia gravis back in 1971... before they really knew what to do with it. My grandfather, mom, and her sisters didn't even want the grandkids to see Grandma like that (I was 7).

House uses an interesting methodology as he uses the symptoms but he will give a tentative diagnosis and when it’s not correct he actually thinks about what disease or disorder would react to certain medications in that way. He is creating more symptoms of the underlining condition and arrives at his final diagnosis. Usually physicians discount those drug reactions .
