I love these warm ups! I have been using them for a while. I feel and hear a big difference when I serve for worship! Thank you for sharing these techniques.

This is the BEST vocal warm up on the internet!! Thank you so much! I am trying to get my voice stronger and your videos are just what I need! Also, every other vid I clicked on that was 15 minutes felt like forever. You are very engaging and fun to listen to so the 15 mins flew by in this video! -Grace
I got accepted into the worship team at my church and im only 11so this is my first worship team and this video is only i use for my warm ups thank you so much for helping the little guys out to ❤
Thank you for the warm up and all your tutorials❤❤❤. Could you please do a tutorial of "I've Witnessed it" by Passion, Melodie Malone. Please, please!!!!❤❤❤❤
It helps to hold the cheeks with your fingers, and also make sure to let out your breath slow and steady to keep the lips buzzing. Keep practicing - it often comes with time!
I have allergies and have to clear my throat constantly. I dont like to take a lot of allergy medicine but tske allegra when I lead worship. Sometimes I hear a weird sound while singing. Do you know why? Do you recommend tea or drinking olive oil for lubrication? Any other suggestions would be helpful. Thank you for your servant leadership and all your resources.
Hey Christina! Yes, most kinds of medication for allergies dry up the respiratory system, so over-hydration is necessary! The sounds you're hearing could be related to that. Herbal teas with licorice root, lemon, turmeric/curcumin, etc. are great-look for ones that just use the natural ingredients, ideally pure and organic, no sweeteners or added flavourings (I often use Traditional Medicinal's Licorice Root Tea geni.us/GEWYBJ or their Throat Coat Tea geni.us/OjxI6x0). Adding honey is also good-opt for raw and unpasteurized if possible. I'd also recommend experimenting with other diet modifications, like taking out dairy, sugar, gluten, or processed food for 24-48 hours leading up to singing, and see if that makes a difference!
Yes, because green tea is healthy for the body, which brings health benefits to the voice! However, sometimes a person’s voice reacts to caffeine, in which case stay away from it.
Yes - that's a normal thing that happens for the voice - however, with training, we can achieve a powerful, seamless tone throughout our range (even in the high notes)!
I am hoarse in the mornings due to Gerd. Take meds. At times, I am ok. I drink room temp water. What else can I do? Warm ups don't seem to make a difference
Sorry to hear of the challenges! Definitely make sure you’re not eating anything for several hours before bed, and sleep with your head propped up to lessen the reflux. Unfortunately it has a huge impact on the voice, so that will be the most important thing to try to get rid of! Try finding a good naturopath to help!
This is a nice long warm up that covers so many areas. However, disagree on Sunday morning...I understand where you come from, but many have different worship days... Sunday is a generalization
Thank you for the video. Just a suggestion for the future to please talk less during the actual exercises so we can he's what we're doing with our mouths and have a chance to adjust if we need to.
Once you have used it a few times and know the details of what you're supposed to do in every section, you can just fast forward through the explanations. I imagine for people new to singing the explanations are crucial
Who else is enjoying this beautiful video 2024?❤❤❤❤
Glad you're enjoying it!
I use it before teaching or singing. She’s wonderful!!
⁰⁰
It’s beautiful before worship on Sundays where I sing for 3 services. This gets all the kinks out. I also enjoy Eric Arsenaux❤
Great for public speaking as well ❤

Happy to help!
This is my daily warmup now.
Glad it's been helpful for you!
I’m really having trouble with lip roll … to roll through a whole 7 notes. Any suggestions to keep my lips rolling. Blessings
Love this. Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Thank you:)
You're welcome!
I love this! How often should I as a worship leader do this throughout the week?
I would suggest 5-6 times per week, or every time before you sing songs!
@@worshipvocalist Thanks so much!

Hey! Perhaps in the future!
@@worshipvocalist that's funny ... I was just rehearsing "I've Witnessed It" before I watched this video!!! LOL!!!
Gracias por esta rutina
You’re welcome!
This is great! The only thing I'd say is that what you are calling "scales" are actually arpeggios or so I've been told haha
I hear ya! Scales is just an easier name to apply to any exercise.
@Worship Vocalist right I'm just trying to eliminate confusion!
@@petefeltmanAs a pianist, that was the first thing that crossed my mind; why they’re called scales.
Can someone help me with how to hold the lip vibration:I’m losing it halfway through.
It helps to hold the cheeks with your fingers, and also make sure to let out your breath slow and steady to keep the lips buzzing. Keep practicing - it often comes with time!
You should do a tutorial on Praise Opens Prison Doors by CAIN!! ❤
Thanks for the suggestion!
Thank you for the video, I have a question, is it okay to sing after the warmup ?
Yes you can sing songs after the warmup and your voice should feel great!
I’m a girl contralto so I felt funny when it was said guys and there I was. I liked it although😊
Haha! I hear ya! Sing wherever feels best for you!
Same here haha

Lip rolls are great but they make my nose itch 😆
Yes that's very common! I've heard some people say it goes away after awhile!
Pleease teach us how to sing "All About Jesus" by Taya Gaukrodger?
Pleeaaaasee! I Luv this song, and I want to learn how to sing efficiently!
Thanks for the request! Perhaps in the future!
How do I join?
Hey! If you'd like to become a Worship Vocalist member and get access to the courses, go to www.worshipvocalist.com!
Can I have you on WhatsApp? I'd need a few months vocal training for the Nigerian Idol.
I've got to be prepared, ma'am.
So, when I sing in the higher range, my voice changes to what feels like a falsetto. Is this normal?
Yes - that's a normal thing that happens for the voice - however, with training, we can achieve a powerful, seamless tone throughout our range (even in the high notes)!

I'm 20 years old, why's my voice always cracked?
It sounds like your voice just needs developing - warmups and vocal workouts will be your best friend!
The higher nays for females are hard to do. I guess I need more strengthening.
Yes they will become easier once your higher range is strengthened!
Wow the lip rolls are hard to do!
Keep at it and you’ll get it!

Noted!
How to lip roll😅
If you have trouble with the lip roll, you can trill your tongue instead!
@@worshipvocalistAwesome! I really struggle with lip rolls, but tongue trills are very easy for me.

I love this but I just wish you talk less in between
I hear you! My goal is to help singers do the exercises as correctly as possible, which is why I explain them!
