Greatly looking forward to this movie, Father Stu. Grateful to Mark Wahlberg for his commitment to this project. Thank you for allowing the Holy Spirit to work through you to tell this story. Great reminder that Christ did not come for the righteous. If one soul turns to Christ because of it, your work was not in vain.
Amen and very well said! I want to join you in expressing gratitude to Mark W. and to Mel G. …and in fact to everyone who made this film happen! We need great Catholic art!
Christ came for all human beings. When Jesus said in Luke 5:32, "I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance", He was pointing out the hypocrisy of the Jewish religious leaders, who thought they were righteous and needed no repentance. God's Word is clear, none of us are righteous! As Isaiah said in Isaiah 64:4 "All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away." And as Paul said in Romans 3:10 "As it is written: 'There is no one righteous, not even one.'" Please study your Bibles with care and diligence. If not a single soul turns to Christ because of what Mark Wahlberg did in this film, his work would not have been in vain, if he did it to glorify God and to bring the Gospel to the unsaved. Salvation is completely God's work, and His sovereign election. In Galatians 2:21 Paul said, "I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” Ephesians 2:8-10 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Our good works were prepared in advance for us to do after we are saved and because we are saved, not because they save us along with the work of Christ on the cross. When Jesus, on the cross, said: "It is finished!" He meant it. Scripture could not be any clearer on this truth.
God bless you Mark and thank you! I really can't wait to see this movie as I've never heard of Fr Stu! Also, this is coming out the day before I get confirmed into the Catholic church!! 🤩😍

Im from Dorchester. I attended the William Monroe Trotter elementary school as well as the Phyllis Wheatley middle school with Mark. He was very talented even as a kid. What most people dont know is that he had incredible physical strength. As a skinny little guy like myself he would easily lift another kid straight up over his head.. This was before he got all buffed out. Like 6th grade. Nowadays Im a huge fan. BTW I have insight as to one of the contributing factors regarding his motivation towards stardom. Our middle school was treated by a radio station to a performance in our auditorium by 2 billboard top artists. A rap concert that effected many of us . Fat Boys & UTFO. Love you Brother.

Great Stuff! I would loved to meet Fr. Stu!
Wow!! He’s always been a favorite but listening to him talk so beautifully about his faith is mind blowing! Praise be Jesus Christ. We are nothing with God. I can’t wait to see this movie.
Mark is such a role model 4 all people. Not just Catholics, but ALL people. Even people that have no religious affiliation. He's a genuine good person. He's bin in the streets, n experienced both sides of the fence. N he was able 2 rise above all of the bad. Every time i hear him speak, i just find myself wanting 2b like him. Wanting 2 ask myself, what i cud do 2b a better Catholic, n a better person. 2 Have his faith in God, n humanity. His whole family is like that. Such good upbringing. He did bad things, n now he's dedicating his life 2 what really matters. The end. That's what matters in life. Where r we gonna b in the end. N how we intend 2 get there. So simple. Can't wait 2c this movie. Thank u Mark, n thank u 4 everything u do 2 help people n r Lord Jesus Christ. Such a great Catholic! N I'm so happy u hooked up with Mel Gibson, another wonderful man! ❤❤❤
Excited to watch the movie here in the Philippines.
"It's not about the church, it's about the guy who died to build it". This statement is so profound.

We all are called to live our faith with kindness love and compassion and to reach out to those in need and be better human beings as Christ wants us to be. To find our purpose and live it out for the growth of others.
I hope Mark and Mel will come to Philippines and promote the movie. There are so millions catholics in our country .
Looking forward to seeing this
