Had never heard of this product until I started watching your videos.... Took me a minute to totally buy into it, but boy! It's awesome, and saves you money in the long run. Thanks for the awesome videos and recipes! Keep up the awesome work!
@@Devotedtothem3867 I have made a vegetarian chicken noodle soup with it, just subbed chickpeas for the chicken or you could use Quorn “chicken” chunks instead.
All your bases are belong to us! Love this stuff. Turned me onto it and cannot stress enough how good it works. My mother and grandma only ever used bases for cooking and they only got it being in the food industry, so beyond happy its available to us foodies trying to make the best for our homes!
I love BTB. It adds a depth of flavor to all of my dishes that bouillon just cannot. I bought my first jars after I started watching your tutorials. I am a BTB fan for life.
I have been telling everybody about this base. Our Walmart in our town only carries 5 flavors. Had no idea there were so many different ones. I can’t wait to be in a town that a store there carries different ones than the ones we have. Btw here the jar size you were holding cost $3.88. I’m glad I watched this, I didn’t know to refrigerate after opening. I’m glad I haven’t killed my family.
Just purchased 3 better than bullion (beef, roasted chicken, & roasted garlic) thanks to you. I remember my parents using it and completely forgotten about it until I saw your videos using it on so many dishes.
The only thing U forgot to mention was that it's available in low sodium too! I have been using it ever since U 1st mentioned it on here & too have found low sodium is awesome for me with high blood pressure. Great job Jeff.
I just checked what's in my pantry. The vegetable and beef bouillon cubes are 900mg/cube (makes 1C). I have two brands of chicken broth. The "regular" one is 560mg/1C and the "lower sodium" is 570mg/1C. So the Better than Bouillon is a little less.
I just today made a 13-bean soup mix in my Instant Pot that my wife and I bought as ingredients in a bag in a specialty store. Besides cutting up some ham to add to the soup, I had just obtained the BTB ham base, and used some of that. IT WAS AWESOME!! You forgot to mention that the ham base has a very smoky flavor to it, which really gives it a country-smoked flavor. You got me started with BTB, and haven't found one we don't love yet!!!
Nope. . . just like I said, besides adding. I cubed up some ham and threw it in, and added two cups of BTB ham base, and an additional five cups of plain water. It was AWESOME!!!!
I have to agree. I went to my parents house and made a roast there and they had some. I was pretty amazed, it turned out to be the best roast I had ever had. I have yet to try any of their other flavors, it was the beef based, but I'm never buying any other bouillon again.

I found this product 10 years ago at a Costco we visited when we drove to San Francisco for our 30th wedding Anniversary. I bought it and loved it and had to wait a year or so till our Costco started selling it. ( we live in Washington) wonderful product! So many flavors now! Very neat, thanks for sharing.
Been using this product long before your promotion. Love love love it for kicking up the flavor of my homemade matzo balls instead of using schmaltz in the mix.
It's great as a reduction usually is, but it still needs care to prevent clumping. Use boiling water as hot as you would use to make instant coffee or tea. You can thin it as much or as little as you'd like, but HOT water and STIR well. Much easier to work with than the dried cubes and has a bit more usable fats as well.
Yes! I bought this and then found your videos. How wonderful! Best tasting ever... I love it. Perfect diet tip for life. I drink a lot of bullion. It is healthy, fills you up and I absolutely love it. Thank you for the tips on the mushroom bullion will make soup next. Great work
Yes.... stumbled on this a year ago and love the garlic bouillon for base in everything..... it’s my go to bouillon now. By the way I made your Greek mustard dill chicken and used this as bouillon base, and it really set it off! Thanks Jeff.... great salesman for them!
I have the chicken and beef flavor, but I didn't realize there were so many other flavors! So often I am out of fresh things, this will come in so handy!

I started collecting these bases when I discovered your channel. So, whenever I go to the store and there’s a new one I don’t have, I buy it. I've never heard of this till I heard you mention it. I hear you talk about seasoning a turkey with the turkey base. Do you have instructions on how to do that? I will be making a turkey in the next month or so, and would like to attempt it using the turkey base.
Hi I just came across your video! I bought a jar of Roasted Beef but when I opened it there was no seal on the inside. Is this a mistake? Or is this how they package it?
Question, can you mix it with oil instead of water? I'm thinking the garlic would be good to fry chicken or fish in. I'm definitely going to see if my local stores have it.
Thanks Jeff. Can't wait to try em'. I ordered the Chili the Lobster and the oyster and were delivered yesterday. Lobster bisque is coming first! BTW-I made your chicken French onion recipe last week. Had it over the Texas toast. Yea I should have had the extra toast on the side too. I had leftovers two days later but this time I served it with the T-toast on the side along with Pennsylvania egg noodles and some sauce over it. Loved it!

The onion base is amazing for building flavors. I won a chili competition without sauteing 1 onion. I hadn't seen the chili base.
Omg I love this stuff! Lasts longer and tastes great. I’m vegetarian and use the vegan “chicken” one.

Hi, Thanks for sharing. I’m interested in trying of few “Better Than Bouillon” but first I’m curious about the length of the shelf life?
It needs to be refrigerated after opening. It will last for months.
Wow I had no idea they had that many flavors
Could I freeze this, by the teaspoon full?
The chili base, specifically
That's exactly what I do.
I've been using the stuff for a while now, great for just about anything. Made general tso, philly cheese steaks, stroganoff, soups and such.
What do you do if it is not available in Canada? I really want to try your chilli recipe but cannot find that product anywhere!
Question, can you mix it with oil instead of water? I'm thinking the garlic would be good to fry chicken or fish in. I'm definitely going to see if my local stores have it.
Nancy Barnett yes! I mix the garlic with butter for the best garlic bread ever!
Wow, that's awesome! Thanks!
My wife use this always she is The best in cooking with this broth end not just a broth
Loved it!
