I love when you say “any outfit can be the vibe if you make it the vibe” bc it’s so true, idk if this helps but I was travelling for a while last year so didn’t really have going-out clothes and wore zip-off shorts and an Oxford spirit wear t-shirt to a nightclub in London and honestly no one cared and I was comfy and it was the best time
i'm sorry u feel stressed in what to wear when you go out. don't worry about not wearing something tight or what everyone else wears. i feel the same way. but the best thing is to wear what you feel comfortable in

I have a better time and am more present when I dress for comfort rather than what I'm "supposed to where". My favorite memories are from nights that I felt confident. My least favorite are the ones I just thought about my body all night. Love the fact that you spoke about this though, because it's kept me from going out before too.

Sounds like you need to go shopping for a some comfortable going out looks! I was modest, so I generally never felt good in tiny, revealing, tight outfits. Plus, I had chunky thighs; and because I had IBS, I would often get bloated after eating and drinking, so I didn't want short skirts or tight/binding waist areas. Once I figured that out, I found a handful of knee-length or midi skirts and dresses that had comfortably loose waist areas, low necklines, and some sparkle, you know, like sequins or metallic thread embroidery. Then, I found a couple of pairs of dressy shoes that were sexy but also comfortable, and I was good to go anytime I got an evening invite. Figure out what balance of comfy and festive suits you, what parts of your body (if any) you don't mind showing off, and do some targeted shopping. 🙂
