In the last six years after the BJP led government try hard to stop planting poppy cultivation in hill districts of Manipur as it became a illegal drug hub . In the meantime Manipur government start eviction drive at reserved forest and protected forest to flush out Kuki illegal immigrants from Myanmar . Another reason for unhappy by Kuki and Naga people is the recent order of Manipur High court order to the government of Manipur to send recommendation for inclusion of ST status by Meeteis communities .
