Has anyone ever changed out the hinges to soft close for these cabinets?

You skipped over installing the hinge mounting plate. I am having a hell of a time getting the screws to rotate through the metal plate.

I just screwed the screws in first, to open up holes, then put ‘em in the plate!

Does it have softclose hinge ?

No. Smooth and stiff enough so they don’t slam easily but not the ones that slow down and self close if that’s what you mean.

If you are here because you can’t get the hinge pieces together… flip them inside down on the cabinet. I’ve wasted an hour on this part alone🥲
