It is possible that red dead revolver with its heavy emphasis on the mystical was a mythologized version of a real gunslinger. A myth originated by uncle about his own life that got romanticized with each telling by him or anyone else.
@@KC.45 It's not that he tells the story, it is that a lot of details line up. The 2 universes are connected. Red Harlow is a "Myth" in Red Dead Redemptions world. Red Harlow and the RD Revolver game are connected to the RD Redemption games, but the story of Harlow is either made up, or greatly exaggerated. As for Uncle being Red. The Original Revolver game was being told by someone, not Uncle, but someone who likely did know the truth or had actually encountered Harlow. This means that all of Harlow's details and dates could be misconstrued, which means that no matter what anyone "Proves" is not actual proof. All of the information is being presented by different people and that easily explains a lot of shit. Hell, Harlow might not have had any scars at all in the "True Tail", he could have been a drunken douchebag out for revenge, who then wrinkled up and became what Uncle is when we meet him. A wrinkled up, giddy old man, who barely remembers what is true and what isn't, with a bad drinking problem due to ptsd and years of torment in the wild west. Red Harlow could have been downright insane for all we know, maybe his "Bounties" were just his murder victims due to delirium. The simple fact is, we do NOT know. We will likely never truly know. Even Rockstar might not be sure if they consider Red and his game "True". But in the end, everything is close enough with enough connections for Uncle to be Red Harlow.
Was the man who said he saw Annie Stokes just lying about it? He details the bull riding mission pretty accurately, even talks about her rifle. Also, I dont think the Harlow's had a slave lady like the skeleton attached to the churn at Two Crows in Redemption. Also, why only a single grave? I see two plaques there but still. Also, a cross? I dont think the Harlow's were catholic. Falling Star for sure wasnt, Red doesnt have, mention or practice a religion.

Could it not be possible that Uncle is still Red Harlow in the Redemption continuity, leaving room for minor changes in the backstory causing the inconsistencies that you pointed out in this video? If it's two different universes with both men being the same person, doesn't that leave room for changes in decision making resulting in the inconsistencies?
Personally, I just can't see Red Harlow becoming a outlaw since Red decided to become a Bounty Hunter to fight against outlaws like the ones who killed his parents. Him joining the Van Der Linde gang is definitely out of character for Red Harlow

I never thought for a second Uncle is Red Harlow. The ages do not match, also their personalities are completely different. Plus it wouldn't make sense for Red's character, his family was murdered by a gang, so why would he join a gang that kills a bunch of innocent people. Cause when they're doing robbery's and when police and law show up they kill them, they're just following the law and doing the right thing and try to bring them in. Those law enforcement officers are trying to bring bad folk in, and they get killed for it. Their kids left without father's, so why would he join a gang that inflicts the same pain and trauma he went through onto other innocent people? He hates gangs and criminals, he became a bounty hunter to bring them to justice and kill them, as Red Harlow even said himself. "It never was about the money." Also another reason why the ages don't match, is because Red Harlow was in his early to mid 20s during Red Dead Revolver, which takes place in the mid 1880s. Meanwhile Uncle is in his 50s by 1899, also it would be really sad and depressing to see a badass become such a Buffon and joke of a person.
@zonkers. Red Dead Revolver is set in 1888 or 1889. Red Harlow was born in the 1860s. Uncle was born in 1849. Red Harlow's parents were killed in the 1870s. Uncle lost his parents when he was 9 years old. Uncle was caught by the Skinners Brothers he was tortured and that explains the scars on Uncle's face.
Uncle just cos-plays famous fictional gunslinger. Similar locations with different names is not a proof, Red Dead Redemption locations are also based on real location of our world, but different names - that's normal for fictional stories, to have some connection to world they exist.
I can see why the Uncle theory is so popular and the one time uncle calls out Duch with him wating to be king, Uncle calls out Dutch / Hidden Dialogue / RDR2 Cinematic (edit) but in my own opinion why would uncle once the Red Harlow who brought justice to outlaws become an outlaw himself, i now once upon a time The Vanderlin Gang "Shot people who needed shooting, helped people who needed helping" but robbing banks of small towns/farming communities which uncle organised Rhodes bank heist lets not forget, feels off to me IDK
I personally feel there are disagreements in Rockstar on how the the game fits; thus no consistent and concrete answer from the company. As for now, this is how I see it to make the most sense: Red Dead Revolver is a fictional story written and inspired by the people in the author's life that goes by the name Jack Marston. His father had similar scars and became a bounty hunter to save his family. Motivated by revenge and in need of training on how to kill, Jack became a bounty hunter to hunt down the government official that betrayed his father; just like Red. He always wanted to be a writer. After his vengeance was laid to rest, he found his purpose in writing.
In my mind, the leader of the company/production (CEO, Founder or lead developer) should have the final say in what is cannon and what isn't cannon. To me that person is Dan Houser.

Realistically I feel like Red’s fate after the events of Revolver is most likely death from the government after his revenge on Governor Griffin.

I think the only reason Rockstar says the Uncle isn't Red Harlow is because Rockstar doesn't own the rights to Red Harlow, they have the rights to the game but they don't have the rights to the character because Red Dead Revolver wasn't originally owned by Rockstar.
With just two google searches I found who owns the rights to red dead revolver and who developed red dead revolver. Take a wild stab in the dark at who owns the rights? if you buy the rights to something, you buy the rights to all of it. It would be fucking stupid if I spent thousands of dollars (if not more) on the rights of a game title, but then I couldn't use the characters. Let me just ask you one question. If Rockstar didn't own the rights to red dead revolver (or as you say, the rights to the character red harlow) then why haven't rockstar been sued yet by the people who "actually" (in quotations, because we already know who actually owns the rights) own the rights? I'll let you in on a secret. It's a trick question. Because as I already stated, no one else owns the rights, only rockstar do.

Uncle is not red harlow Infact you can tell that by john in rdr1 and rdr2, he is the son of red harlow you can tell this by the hat and the conversation him and jack had in epilogue say his dad died at 7 years old All 3 games red john jack share the same hat regardless of what we think or say the hats are the same and plus seeing red being a damn good shot would play into the fact he was a bounty hunter and taught john to shoot and john did the same because he was a damn good shot and ended up being a bounty hunter and this is wrapped into jack being a good shot and ended up being a bounty hunter
So aside from the contradicting evidence, if R* said he’s not, but you can hear about him and visit his house so maybe he is, why should we believe them if they said he’s not?

A lot of people come to two assumptions of Red Harlow *A* He’s Uncle and the story of Red Harlow is just more overhyped, which to me isn’t plausible because Uncle isn’t a Native American and has no scars like Red Harlow does. Also his personality doesn’t match Red Harlow. *B* He’s just a legend or an ordinary bounty hunter who became a legend because the story slowly became overhyped. This is sorta plausible but also not. There are tons of insane characters in Red Dead Revolver like that casket man or the guy with a straight up cannon on his arm. But I think these characters are real but the way they look is overhyped and not real but the people they were were not. There probably was a psycho who ambushed Red Harlow in the graveyard but he didn’t have a straight up casket on his back. That soldier with the cannon arm did exist he’s mentioned in rdr2 as a soldier around the Native Americans vs Soldiers missions. And if you compare it to Arthur and John and the shit they’ve done it’s pretty much the same thing. Taking down whole armies, getting into bar fights, massacring enemies left and right. I’ll just say it’s cranked up to 11 but then again Red Harlow always worked alone so he had to be twice as fierce.
Most of this video is based off a birthdate for Red that isn’t canon at all. You took it from the Made up Characters Wiki. I can't believe the amount of arguments I've seen over this. Uncle doesn't even have the Scorpion Revolver. Kinda hard to believe he'd lose his father's revolver after all he's been through.
Later in that article or a separate one I think they stated something along the lines of the “. Red Dead Revolver is also its own universe, but the world of Red Dead Redemption was always meant to be a world in which the myths and realities of the American frontier collide” meaning aspects of both CAN collide RED HARLOW being a possible example
i wouldnt doubt it man
Now that is REALLY stretching the fan fiction. Also the fact you couldn't even quote it word for word makes me suspect highly that this is some sort of fairy tale.
I think red is just a legend in the universe
@@JackeyBoyyy "The Undead Nightmare story takes place during the "home" period of the main game, while John is trying to rebuild his ranch but before the end of the game--a period that we imagined took several months. 5:09 this one part is defiantly not true, Red Dead Revolver is in the same universe as rdr2, it just takes place in 1886, and rdr2 takes place in the end of the century, 1899-1907. But you can come across someone camping and if you talk with him, he brings up and I LITERALLY STATE, he says: “My brother’s dead, but he used to tell me stories about *Red Harlow.* the man who watches his parents get murdered right in front of him?” Edit: Ok, this came up later in the video, but I didn’t watch that part yet, sorry 😅
Whilst I Wouldn't Be Surprised If Uncle Was A Beast Similar To Red Harlow In His Younger Days I Can Easily Agree That He Isn't Red Harlow Himself
I like to imagine Uncle being a badass before RDR2. Hopefully we'd get a prequel (to a prequel) that is about Uncle's past

@@BryanFury-mi6eh red dead redemption and revolver were confirmed to take place in different universes by rockstar
so it could be possible
It is possible that red dead revolver with its heavy emphasis on the mystical was a mythologized version of a real gunslinger. A myth originated by uncle about his own life that got romanticized with each telling by him or anyone else.
If it is possible, then when in the game can we encounter Uncle telling Red Dead Revolver's narrative?
@@KC.45 It's not that he tells the story, it is that a lot of details line up.
The 2 universes are connected. Red Harlow is a "Myth" in Red Dead Redemptions world. The campfire stories you here are exaggerated stories of a bounty hunter. Most myths find their basis in truth and fact.
2 crows is not Red's house I think it was just a Nod by Rockstar The layout is different and I don't believe the Harlow's owned a donkey woman
It would be funny as hell if uncle is technically Red Harlow but Red is just the stories of uncle that overtime became a legend
Although a lot of evidence points to uncle not being red Harlow. I still love the idea and theory that this wacky old man once upon a time was a badass gunslinger, until eventually time caught up with him.

Even if red dead revolver was kind of based on the actual redemption series definitely one character in particular some exist which would be Annie Stokes bonnie Mcfarland is too heavily based on her. other characters including some of the weird bosses like pig Josh or the guy who has a coffin with a gatling gun inside would also fit in the same area of none existing characters.

If it's two different universes with both men being the same person, doesn't that leave room for changes in decision making resulting in the inconsistencies?
now the true question. was the stories being told about uncle but the sheriff change the name from Uncle to Red
Greatest gun slinger, almost cooked alive in red dead redemption 2! He could have saved himself if he was the Red Harlow.
Personally, I just can't see Red Harlow becoming a outlaw since Red decided to become a Bounty Hunter to fight against outlaws like the ones who killed his parents. Him joining the Van Der Linde gang is definitely out of character for Red Harlow
One thing that would prove it once and for all is using mods to shave off uncle's beard showing the rest of the scars that red harllow had if they exist then the theory is true if not then it's horse shit
Scars don't grow hair, So I think you'd notice the 5 bald patches stretching across both sides of his face. Plus one of the scars is on his nose so it wouldn't even be obscured by any facial hair at all.

Meanwhile Uncle is in his 50s by 1899, also it would be really sad and depressing to see a badass become such a Buffon and joke of a person.
what if uncle is not red harlow but red harlow is uncle🤯
@zonkers. Red Dead Revolver is set in 1888 or 1889.
Red Harlow was born in the 1860s. Uncle was born in 1849.
Red Harlow's parents were killed in the 1870s.
Uncle lost his parents when he was 9 years old.
Uncle was caught by the Skinners Brothers he was tortured and that explains the scars on Uncle's face.
i went to Red's childhood home as red in red dead redemption 2 online
How were you Red Harlow in RDR2O?
If uncle have the scars on his face he is red Harlow. But no scars on the face just an old man with lumbago
I think Rockstar really missed a great opportunity with this one. I love the idea of Red Harlow just being a total loser but managing to fail upwards.
It would have been nice to see red dead revolver and rdr1 and 2 in the same timeline and uncle be red
I just don’t get how red would go from a bounty hunter to a outlaw
Uncle just cos-plays famous fictional gunslinger. Similar locations with different names is not a proof, Red Dead Redemption locations are also based on real location of our world, but different names - that's normal for fictional stories, to have some connection to world they exist.
I can see why the Uncle theory is so popular and the one time uncle calls out Duch with him wating to be king, Uncle calls out Dutch / Hidden Dialogue / RDR2 Cinematic (edit) but in my own opinion why would uncle once the Red Harlow who brought justice to outlaws become an outlaw himself, i now once upon a time The Vanderlin Gang "Shot people who needed shooting, helped people who needed helping" but robbing banks of small towns/farming communities which uncle organised Rhodes bank heist lets not forget, feels off to me IDK
i know uncle isn’t red but i like to imagine he is since he’s some lazy old man who used to be one of the most notorious bounty hunters
I personally feel there are disagreements in Rockstar on how the the game fits; thus no consistent and concrete answer from the company. As for now, this is how I see it to make the most sense:
Red Dead Revolver is a fictional story written and inspired by the people in the author's life that goes by the name Jack Marston.
@@JackeyBoyyy Aaannddd he's gone.

I’ve always never liked this theory ever since I was told about it. Never made any sense in terms of timeline and character, Red would never settle down with the likes of the Van der Linde gang due to him taking down outlaws himself. And personality wise Red and Uncle are completely different, yeah people say that people change but this is a complete character shift. Realistically I feel like Red’s fate after the events of Revolver is most likely death from the government after his revenge on Governor Griffin.
yeah it seems like anyone who wants this theory to be true just clutch desperatly to anything they can get their hands on and ignore all the obvious evidence pointing towards the facts.

I think the only reason Rockstar says the Uncle isn't Red Harlow is because Rockstar doesn't own the rights to Red Harlow, they have the rights to the game but they don't have the rights to the character because Red Dead Revolver wasn't originally owned by Rockstar.

A lot of people come to two assumptions of Red Harlow
*A*
He’s Uncle and the story of Red Harlow is just more overhyped, which to me isn’t plausible because Uncle isn’t a Native American and has no scars like Red Harlow does. Also his personality doesn’t match Red Harlow.
*B*
He’s just a legend or an ordinary bounty hunter who became a legend because the story slowly became overhyped.
If we’re actually using the information given about Red in RDR there’d be no specific date at all. There isn’t even a specific date for the setting of the game, how’d you get the specific month, day and year for Red’s birth?
It was just someone trying to fill out Red Harlow’s page on that wiki, definitely shouldn’t be the starting basis of your video.
Edit: Guys, that wiki is filled to the brim with jokes and nonsense. It writes out what Erron Black from Mortal Kombat did during MKX and MK12 as if it was Red Harlow. Why would you use this page as a basis to discuss canon?
Even if the wiki page is wrong, we can't deny the fact that it is 100% not red harlow and red dead redemption doesn't even share a universe with the original game.
