I keep a short piece of pipe in the skid steer cab and use it to assist closing the lock levers for bucket or forks. Makes it less jarring to the body and you don't need to stand on it trying to break an ankle lol

Tyson, what do you consider to be cold? I noticed the cows have a thick coat of hair I never noticed that before. I thought they had short hair so I am sure they stay warmer than I thought they would up there. I am sure they still like the straw.
I consider it cold when it's in the negative 30s like it is this morning. Minus 34 c right now. No the cows get a thick coat of hair for winter time. They shed it off in summer.

I’d love to get one for myself but I’m starting to think that it would be pretty limited to what it would do. But could very easily save me traveling to the fall calving yard 7 miles away with the big tractor and allow me to just do the limited chores down there leaving me with way less traveling time for a year

I picked up a Takehuchi.....Takachoochoo......Take a chachee.....one o them skidsteers but it didn't have a door so not using it too much but it has tracks, great in the field but not on the road.

We hardly ever get snow, but if we do you can bet it's heavy and wet :( It's supposed to be in the 70's here several days next week. Until next time stay warm :)

Yes they are outside. We have shelter for them here but they dont go inside...its bad if they are inside because they start to sweat and then they get sick if they go back out in the cold

It can be hard..if you balance it just right you can do it by yourself...but pretty much need 2 people to swing it over

I use a utility knife with a hook blade really works good for me last longer than a straight blade.
