Thank you for sharing this. Since we are vegetarians, I try to get my boys to eat as many nuts and seeds as possible. I did not have pistachio, but I added chopped macadamia, sunflower, pumpkin and sesame seeds. Was yummy. Next time will try to add some melted choc😊
Tried this today it was delicious although I blended the dates into a soft paste it held nicely. I also added to the roasted almonds and cashews some sultanas roasted pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and sesame seeds and some roasted desiccated coconut .yummy yummy thank you
Thanks for sharing, great video. I have dates for my granola clusters. Had a hard time cutting up bite size. Will do the method you shared with honey and dates. Good Idea, looks so tasty.
Many thanks for promoting non-sugar recipes. I use rice syrup now as it has no fructose! It's great having non-sugar recipes as fructose is certainly the bad guy! When I looked into it some more, it turns out that dates and figs are very high in fructose whereas sultanas, currants and cranberries(not sugar-treated ones - you can buy cranberries which are treated with apple juice)are very low in fructose! There are so many things to be aware of these days!
It's the first time I learnt of badam, With a bit if research, it turned out to be Almonds. You added pistachios twice. Remove noisy music, and you get my like.
What a ninja Well done with your nut bar ideas thanks try vitimins bars mix porridge with fruit syrup then bake home made vitimins bars add protein powder for workouts

Thinking this mixture might be too rich in nut fat and nut oil. For me in very similar mixture I’d like to add dry roasted oats and other wild seeds ....
amazing. it will take me a while tobuy the different nuts from the store, but I'll save them up to make this high octane treat. i do labor work and these give great energy without the bulk. gassys but even semi trucks let off steam rolling pulling that hard load.
We will be hiking a 500 mile hike and shipping ourselves food resupply boxes. If we pre make these bars should I be concerned with shelf life or special packaging?
I've been looking for a recipe that didn't use maple syrup or sugar as a binder and Medjool Dates are perfect! Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant! ❣

Looks very delicious
This recipe is great !! I find honey is just enough. Any added sugar will defeat the purpose of a healthy granola bar :)
you are right!
I happen to only have honey, so this is great to know :P
@@OpheliaFantasy Yea honey is awesome as it has lower GI value comparing to sugar. I use dried dates in my granola bars. They're great too :)
Actually honey counts as a form of added sugar.
There’s not so much sugar that it will kill you, but don’t eat more than one bar a day if you care about your health.
Tried this and it was great! I ran out of paste and ended up adding chocolate to hold it together. A delicious mistake lol
