@@rival756 cuz training legs alone uses almost all your body, cuz is not only the legs, you use your back, abs, shoulders etc. Even isolated leg muscles are the biggest ones, and those muscles burn a lot of fat and helps alot to produce more testosterone hormone.

Man I swear to God I don't get why people hate training legs not only it makes your physique much more wholesome, you get a blasting dose of testosterone, makes you overall more toned due to fat loss, and in my opinion gets you a hell of a lot more respect. I learned just the other day that doing squats also strengthens the central nervous system, allowing for harder training on the upper body. Plus that some of the biggest muscles are there, allowing for high endorfine production and fat burning relative to the effort put into it.

Even if you are training especially for calistenics or something for upperbody satrength you still need to do lower body couse half of your muscles are there and the more muscles you give signal to growth the more testosterone your body produce to make it happen so it eventually helps with progression of upper body

While my genetics are defo subpar overall, i can actually ignore lower body training. The few gifts i do have are all lower body. Never had to work my legs and esp glutes. Before retiring i hit legs maybe once a week with a few half assed sets (altho tbf i was a serious cyclist for a year and a half but even before and after those times my legs were still good). Literally never trained glutes, minus some unavoidable collateral activation, in my life yet theyve always been and still are my strongest point easily, no matter what i did. This is just how much genetics matter, in my near decade long journey of training, my upper body which i trained hard and consistently for so long has never come even remotely close to rivaling my almost untrained lower body. I still work out to an extent nowadays but idk the last time i did any lower bod. This pathetic female build of mine actually always made me look pretty hot in tight pants at least

Same for me. I'm with slight belly at my 35 years, no defined abs nor pectorales. I went hard on my complete body for 1-2 years but didn't step into a Gym seriously for the last 10 years. My stamina is garbage, but my defined Quadriceps and calfs still look like champions. Brought me some medals in 100 meters and long jumps, and 4x100 in my teens. We didn't train excessively, so yeah. Genetics make a huge difference.

      You should do PPL
      Mon-Legs
      Tue-push (chest/tricep/shoulders)
      Wed-Pull (Back, biceps, traps)
Then either rest day and repeat, or repeat then rest on Sunday
