Butters is one of the purest souls on the show when not his alter ego. Edit: Eric's mom is super skank. Eric has seen a lot.
Not so much anymore, though. She stopped being a skank around Season 16

My favorite thing about South Park is how it is so R-rated and zero f's given, but also still manages to capture the naivety and gullibility of children. It's great.

I miss Cartman's old gravely voice and chubby accent. Now his voice is smoothed out and lost it's charm.. Though I know Trey Parker stopped doing his voice gravely, because it was rough on his vocal chords. I wonder if there's any kind of distortion tech that could artificially add it into the voice.
Using technology to make cartman's voice sound like it used to would sound very artificial.

Season 5 is a good place to start watching South Park. The earlier episodes are also good, but the series really matured and understood it's identity in Season 5 and stayed gold for at least 10 seasons after that. Modern stuff is good as well although I've kinda fallen off.
Disagree. First few seasons are by far the funniest. Also it really hasn’t fallen off especially compared to Simpsons and family guy

No… no! No! Anyone who’s going to get into a TV series should always start from the beginning. Plus there’s too many iconic moments from the earlier seasons!

If you want to see Cartman at one of his worst, then y'all need to watch season 5 episode 4. One of the great ones for sure.

Years ago, South Park did a visual of what was going on in Cartman's head. The imagery
literally disturbed me for months. For real, I hope I never have to witness it again.
Eric is always ragging on Kenny because Kenny is the only kid at the school poorer than Eric. So Kenny is the only kid that Eric feels is inferior to him. He hates everybody else because he sees them as richer or more popular than he is. Eric is an ignorant juvenile reflection of all the hate we see in the world around us, which is why we find him so funny.

You should have a live stream and watch the south park bigger longer and uncut movie. It was originally x-rated cause they swore so much. Apparently over 420 swear words makes it that rating so they edited it down to 419 making it r-rated. And I believe it holds the record for most swear words in a movie
