If you want to savour delicious Goan Catholic culinary traditions, Bhatti Village, a quaint home turned restaurant amidst the lush fields of Bhatti Waddo in Nerul, is where you need to be. Run by the D'Souza family, the food here is the sort that you would taste in a Goan home if they were blessed with an extraordinary cook. The flavours are punchy and the hospitality of the family, warming, and the sort that immerses one in the conviviality of Goa’s people. A reason why this charming home eatery has endeared itself to locals and travellers for over 25 years. In this dinner episode, I met the family and also made myself comfortable with a large meal in which almost every dish had me licking my fingers! 😋
Hope you enjoy this episode. Take care; stay safe and strong. Happy eating!

Dear Kripal, just a week back we were in Goa and happened to visit this place and we mentioned your show too..Roiston said that his episode will be released this week.
I'm a vegetarian and I just loved Neerphanas fry there.
My folks enjoyed Poe and prawns xacuti along with mushroom humman. Silver fish fry was absolute delicacy
Everything was fresh and too yummy
Their cocum sharabat was too good
I'm so happy that this place and Mr. Baker 1922 expressed their happiness and said there are lot of visitors from South especially our Karnataka and Andhra
    Way to go 😍

Good evening dear Kripal 👍 Sorry for the delayed response in watching, I had to go out of town with my family and it was a great day . Just when I started watching your Vlog , our sweet Punjabi neighbour offered us some exclusive dishes. Today in terms of food it’s on a roll 😀😀
Now back to your Vlog ; Super excited to watch this Vlog . Nothing to beat an authentic Goan food . I love Goa and Goans . They are so gregarious and super hospitable they make you feel at home . So here’s a huge salute and love to all the Goans 🙏🙏👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Bhatti Village is indeed quaint and beautiful ambience made up of bottles and vats 👌👌 I am also getting a similar , wonderful, vibe just looking through your eyes 👍 kudos to Mr Patrick D’Souza for keeping the tradition of the restaurant intact 👍👌 Oh wow even I though coconut Feni is better than the potent Cashew Feni . Never knew about it’s immunity and pro-biotic nature 👍 Loved the antiques and the history behind them ; well articulated by Mr D’Souza . True that it does seem to have a museum look 👌 Now it’s time to taste the Cashew Feni transferring Kripal into a Dragon with its mouth on fire 🔥😀 You should also review some drinks on your show . We love whatever you present to us 😀 I have had just had bread fruit and for me I have not yet acquired the taste due to the heavy starchiness of the dish . Possibly I haven’t had it in a right place include the way It’s prepared . The white bait fish fish finger is certainly drool worthy 😋😋 I believe Fish roe is similar to Caviar - right ? Now that’s a feast on the table 👍👌 I have never tried the Fish Roe with Richard Masala . Thanks for wonderfully articulate the texture and flavour profile of the Fish Roe . What type of Fish is used in making of the FR RM ? I thought the Sinew would be a bit stretchy . Cool thanks for answering my question on Roe and Caviar similarity 🙏 It’s time for the Pork Sorpotel masala . Is Sanna similar to that of an Idli in terms of taste profile ? Looks like a Goan Idli 😀 Whoa , toddy in the Sanna batter ?? Glad that you loved the Sorpotel 👍😋 What kind of meat is used in the Chilli Dry ? Looks like completely different from a regular Chilli Chicken dry . The Samarchi Kodi looks super scrumptious 😋. Great combo with the boiled rice 👌👌 I didn’t quite get the name of the Portuguese-Goan dessert . Looks quite creamy with a crunch of the Marie biscuit . Wow need to try this as well 👍👍 Thanks so much dear Kripal 🙏 Thoroughly enjoyed each and every frame of the vlog 👍👍 This GOTR Goan series is a super hit 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Take care , Stay safe and Health and God bless 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️

Breadfruit was popular in the New World. The British tried to take it to Europe to grow. Of course it cannot grow in cold climates.

    Hi🙋🏻‍♀️ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ Namaskāra🙏Kripal, my beautiful Goa🫶& everyone 🗺️🕊️🫶
In Konkani the language of Goa we say, Dev boro dis dium solgam/God give you a good day/Good morning. Dev Borem korum/God bless you/Thank you. God is mostly associated with most of the Konkani phrases.
Beautiful video of the amazing detailed summary of every dish, Brilliant👍
I love fish roe it’s yummy 😋 the White bait is superb, crispy could gobble a whole plate or more! The Samarachi kodi with dry prawns is super delicious with a little bit of jaggery for sweetness. Besides frying the Bread fruit it is used to make Xacuti, sabzi but the fried version is the best my favourite! Finely sliced pumpkin can be also crumb fried. Have you tried Goan Crab 🦀 Xecxec😋Crab sukkem?
All the dishes look Awesomely delicious.
Sadly, the Illogical stereotype of every Goan drinks alcohol is incorrect. I am a teetotaller & few of my ancestors were teetotallers too!
    God✨Bless🙌🤲🙏🌈us all🗺️🕊️🫶MC/Q🕊️🫶🌹

it's nirponas not palponas. Palponas is soursop. Nir is water in Sanskrit this plant needs lot of clean water n it's called breadfruit in English. Nirponas is eaten like this or cooked n palponas is generally eaten ripe like a fruit.😊
