Mr. Amanna, after watching your review I went down there all the way from north goa to have a family lunch. I have to say, the place is NOT at all condusive for family eating. I really had a hard time to arrange a seat as staffs were not at all cooperative to find a place for family. Waiting outside for 1 hr!!. Food can be bad but experience can not.
Seeing Daas uncle on this video reminded me of my dad. So proud of Daas Uncle calling him as my second dad. Been our family friend since forever now! My dad and he were best friends for 47 years, until my dad passed away last month. I saw my dad in Daad in this video.
I visited this restaurant in 2005 along with my parents..When I asked the waiter about the menu, he brought a thali full of fresh fish...He said sir you choose the fish and we will prepare..It was a first time experience for me..This place is an absolute legend ..
Awesome. I had my first thali there 32 yrs back n still love it. Best part when u all came to shoot this episode I was there for my favourite thali.its really a epic place we can forget.👍❤️
I first ate there in 1996. Amazing seafood thali….the lunch thali is so popular in Pangjim, you have to wait an hour before you get a seat…seafood thali used to cost Rs180….a steal in my book 👌👌👌✌🏾
Been atleast 500 plus times to Ritz. With my dad, uncle, friends since childhood... authentic goan fish thali... M lucky to be one of the hungry customer for sea food at Ritz. Thank you Desai Saheb and his entire team 🙏🏼

there is no way on earth he looks 82.. astonished😮.. the thali looks fabulous and extremely reasonable for 200inr. cant wait to dig my hands into it next time i'm in Panjim
I like the vigour and zest of daad when he is discussing food. Especially seafood. The cuisine seems of typical goan standards, veering closer to saraswat cuisine. I may have eaten here ages ago, because the locality seems very familiar. In today's goa, it's a struggle to find an honest eating place that offers good meals at a decent price. May daad's tribe grow and once again regain goa's reputation for good food and hospitality. Incidentally, your marathi is quite fluent Kripalji.
Amazing.. remembering all my good memories of eating very good food over der..2008 to 2012...four years i was in Goa..this restaurant i will remember for my lifetime. It's very nostalgic.very dear to my heart.
Watched this episode after a month but loved it a lot. Going to Goa is like a pilgrimage for me once every year but since last two years because of covid was unable to go. I have seen this Hotel Ritz ample number of times but never went to eat there as we visit my sister in law and food is always had at home. Now that I have seen this episode will definitely visit this particular restaurant and will have their lunch. Kripal I just loved the way you spoke in marathi with Mr Desai. You really are a multi talented personality. God bless you and keep it up 👍🏻
The founder of the Cafe Ritz and Cafe Ritz Classic ,Dad bab Dessai,is a honest and sincere person, and always ready to help anyone who approaches him with his/her difficulties. That is the reason I always tell him that his chain of hotels is God’s gift. May The Lord bless him and his family.
My husband stayed in Goa for 10 years and I too got married during that time and spent nearly an year there. We had our own flats.Very blissful place to be.I could not eat at Ritz as i wasn't eating fish then. Now I am just waiting for an opportunity to visit Ritz and taste their iconic fish curry rice.My husband swears by it and tells you can never find such a tasty fish curry anywhere in India as he travels regularly.👏👌😋
