When using the provided Wifi dongle, is a router still needed to emit the signal, or is that a substitute for needing the router?
How do you write the pasword on your console

The usb dongle is the only wireless card that will work? I've tried my netgear and it won't access wirelessly.

My Mixer recognizes the Ethernet connection, but fails to join as it says "invalid SSID unable to Join". What do I do to successful join the network?

My ipad won't find my board. I connect wireless to the network then do the same on my ipad but nothing comes up when i open the ai app......im stuck now. Please help!

I have a question regarding linking Auxes for i.e. our inear... Our keyboard player is using Aux 3 & 4 for his inear, how can I delegate him permission on his iPad over Wifi, to control his inear mix settings only? To apply Aux3 will it automatically apply to Aux4? KR
can i connect a cable from fire wire 400 to fire wire 800 becouse my computer those not have the 800 fire wire connection yet but i did find a wire that has one end 400 and the other end 800 is it save? for my 16.4.2 AI

quick question !!! I have the 16.4.2 and I love it . the app works perfect for my ipad. The thimg is I have a few members of the band who has tablets vs ipads.... I cant find the app for a galaxy tablet to save my life ... Will sl remote work for a tablet or is it only limited to an ipad????

Why can't I do this on my VSL1818? I want to use it as a sub mix hub from a larger desk (which doesn't have this feature either) just for band foldback with personal mixing. Can only connect 1 iOS device and no permissions.

Can you hook wirelessly without a network hub; ie set up an ad hoc network directly to the iPad?
The StudioLive will need to be connected to a router, either via the included USB wireless (Wi-Fi) LAN adapter, or a hard wired connection. Then you're good to go!

When I try to connect my 16.4.2AI to a wireless network, I enter the password, press store to join, and than it simply reloads to the scanning page with no actual IP, I've tried it on multiple networks and still nothing.
Joni how are you my church bought a 32 channel mixer. When I push recall to scan wireless internet nothing happen, I try unpluggin the usb dungle and shot down and nothing. Can you please give me some advise ? Thank you

My mixer doesn't have an either net jack and I don't see the network tab in system settings, my firmware version is 1.50a build 190 is that the problem?
The features described here are referring to the StudioLive AI mixers, our newest line. Are you using one of the original StudioLive mixers?
Yea I guess it doesn't have the built in wifi ,I actually got it hooked up through the fire wire thoughThanks! I thought I would get to download studio live free but it's only a demo? Is there somewhere I can get maybe the old version

Sweet! But it does not work. It scans for the router asking for the password I put the password and none of the devices will connect to it, maybe the presonus USB wifi dongle doesn't work with every router.

Don't try and make something "necessary" a "special feature you've included"
Can't set a static IP? That pretty much makes it obsolete for our network, we would have to have a seperate network system.
So I could get a apple airport and hook that up to the board and use a iPad to mix FOH ?
