5:48 Fun fact: Intrepid stand is very good at level cap too, since any and all Overguard (even just 1) has a 0.5 second gate, which is longer than minimum shield-gate (0.3 seconds), as well as giving free status immunity. So there's actually no situation where you wouldn't want to run the augment.
I was going to add that in the video aswell, but when I went back to check it seems DE fixed that? final stand was doing a bunch of 0's to them 😢 a very sad day
@@morning8590 So! Looked into this more. Final Stand being able to damage arbitration drones IS a real thing, but only when styanax is NOT the host. This same bug seems to affect a few things. client styanax seems to treat his 4 as generic weapon damage, but correctly treats it as ability damage when he's the host. So yeah. Clearly something wonky going on. But fun when it works (or... when it doesn't work as intended, I guess?)

Was reminded he exists with the advertising for the new cosmetics but made me realize I've never actually delved into how Styanax works. I thank you for the clear explanations of all the skill interactions!
Styanx is a game-changing railjack captain. If you put nourish on him, he can regen upwards of 10 energy per second. (I think I am close to 20 right now) This applies to ship energy when he is piloting and the regen stays active. This lets you spam black hole, munition vortex, and hit crew ships with the stun-shot. Besides r9 cloud (which is VERY hard solo in voidstorm mode), I can basically just let my crew gunners smoke everything. Running Glazio Mk3's. Good ones have amazing stats. 4k BASE damage, 100% crit, 5x multiplier. One shotting all fighters except the very high veil prox. I can literally go to the bathroom on Lich Confrontation, and when I get back all the enemy fighters are down and the enemy crew ships are at min health.
Also I think the first build just with roar is better than the second. With so much strength you can pretty much just spam abilities with his 3 active and have so much extra damage with his ult because roar double dips for slash procs

Nourish can make your Final Stand proc viral damage, I tested "Enemies that attack or are attacked suffer viral damage up to one stack". I unequipped everything and for some enemies it does proc it. It doesn't always proc but I would say 50% of the time you put a viral proc.
I saw somewhere that nourish isn’t as good for him because when you get hit with over guard it doesn’t apply viral to enemies. Idk if it’s true but that would make rhinos roar much better of an option imo
Good vid but to be perfectly honest most warframes have a kinda mandatory Augument, Nidus,Hildryn,Ember,Saryn if you dont helminth, Rhino lot of auguments in the game can make a warframe go from Cool/good to busted.
I disagree with most, but some have augments too good to pass up sure, and the game is a power fantasy kinda game, you build a warframe to get busted, thats been for all the years that I played the game the point of it, why? is that not your cup of tea? or are you tired of the power creep?
No range hmmmm,i put stretch on mine i think it aplies slash to with range,like shot 6 meter away frođ targed and you aply slash on them to,range is good strech ok
For the midrange build, I thought adaptation didn't work on overguard?, i'm just curiou. Also cound arcane avenger work? on overguard since it's sorta "seen as health"
The wiki says: Damage reduction does not apply to Overguard. However, the resistances can still be stacked while Overguard is active to prevent taking too much damage once it is depleted.
It's a decent augment, definitely improves the ability, but still not a huge fan if I'm being honest, but not problems using it, I was planning on experimenting with it more soon, so maybe my tune will change
Keep your 3 up at all times, and use Nourish (instead of his first ability) to increase energy generation. You can also use Zenurik on top of that if you still struggle.
@@morning8590 Exactly ! Octavia is one of those frames that renders everything boring and remove a lot of interactivity in the game. I loved her but when I get her out, I fall asleep. I never subsume her skill because of that.

Interestingly, final stand also kills arbitration drones, which are supposed to be immune to all abilities.

Primed Redirection build for Styanax? With 3600 overshields, you get 90% crit on weapons, when you don't feel like spamming your 4th.
Is this added or does it apply how mods do?
For exe. Weapon with 24% crit plus the bonus Would it be 114% crit or 45.6% crit?

Adaptation doesnt work on overguard. It works on shields and health

Witch archon chars schould i use for the first build ? 2x whit casting speed ? blue for energy ?
I've gone 2 amber for casting speed and 3 red for strength. You won't need the additional energy if you keep his 3 active at all times.
