With the prime available and more people playing him people are finally realising how op he is as a nuker especially since his new augment releasing glad to see my boy finally getting some love instead of being that guy with gloom
I think a lot of people don't notice this about Shadow, but the Reap + Sow combo works in Shadow form as well if you have both augments up. So Shadow can realistically nuke without needing to spam Embrace so much. Also Life Strike works to keep Shadow alive if you use the three Umbral mods on him, which allows you to swap Primed Flow for Arcane Battery for more energy
I remember just buying Sevagoth with plat because the Railjack grind was complete ass but I wanted to get the Gloom Helminth that everyone and their dog was praising to heaven and back. It was an interesting and kinda fun playstyle, but as you said, the Forma requirements were insane enough that I decided to just Master the frame and let my space tumor eat it. If there's one thing I'd change in Sevagoth's kit, it would be having the Shadow's Consume ability work more like Excalibur's Slash Dash, giving Consume enemy tracking and at least one guaranteed hit per cast on any enemy within range. Every time I've tried using it in its current state, I end up missing enemies completely unless they were literally standing right next to me, and even then it was a 50/50.
A minor gripe about your video please extent the build parts from 1 sec to 3 or 4 sec because I cannot pause it on time to study the mods you have added to the frame.
That's because a lot of people didn't farm it and many of those who did farm it didn't know how to use it or subsumed it, but now that they see what it can do with its increases and that its Prime came out, they're going to start using it more, people's hypocrisy.
Sevagoths nuke playstyle actually does work with shadow. Shadows 3 works like sow with dark propagation, and the extra shadows that spawn from shadow haze will trigger the explosions.
Build him for max range and enough strength for about 100% damage vulnerability, slap preparation on him and every time you summon him he has full energy and can nuke better than sevagoth himself since he needs so much more strength than shadow does.
Why bother with shadow nuking if the shadow is gonna get 1 tapped anyway on anything worth using sevagoth for. Might as well use ember or smth at that point
@poison_byte because if you have preparation on it and things are dying from the nuke you can instantly summon him again with full energy for more nuking. Also the shadow really benefits from Arcane Reaper.
@@poison_byte dont you know the shadow always spawn with 5 secs of invul? Pair it with rolling guard and you get 8 seconds of invul each time you press 4, which is more than enough to nuke everything by pressing 3 and doing one heavy atack.

It also registers multiple deaths even if I was never down, but bounced between Sevagoth and his shadow. It seems if the shadow died but not Sevagoth it still counted as a death on the mission report.
I hope you'll do one on Voruna, unless I missed it, you haven't really made anything about her since her original release, which with her Augment her 4 ability play style became a lot more viable and very simple and fun.
I opted for energy tanking with tap cast gloom when you start to lose health utilizing nourish to not have to run equilibrium and it feels pretty good in 20-60 min SP survivals thus far
Rolling Guard on the shadow even lets you Roll to have immortality, while regular Sevagoth is in his downed state. So, even if you're subsuming off the shadow, make sure you slot at least Rolling Guard on him. Primed Redirection could be helpful too to extend his shield gate.
I wish there was a way to disable his passive. It is inferior compared to Last Gasp in every conceivable way and is completely unreliable in high level Steel Path missions.

The solution to a lot of sevagoths problems is to subsume off his shadow I know a lot of people don’t wanna do that but trust me his nuke build is all you need and his shadow is just not worth using it’s slow and squishy compared to just nuking with his first and second ability and if you skip on the shadow you can save yourself forma lol

Do not think of Sevagoth as one frame. He is two, and both are equally important at different times. Sevegoth's purpose is to keep his death well up. His shadows purpose is to make him unkillable. A great Sevagoth build requires a mind-numbing 15-21 forma. He himself needs forma. His shadow needs forma, and his claws need forma. If you can get your hands on his two great augments and get enough power strength, he can NUKE even giant rooms. The only tricky part is when you get into very high level content. He requires an incredible build to survive at high level as well as great ability management. If you are wondering what to forma/build first with him, build his shadow's claws first. Those claws will keep you alive and allow you to res when you are in the shadow state. You need a strong melee build for him.

@@alexblackwood2316 I feel like Im only able to pull that off bc of the safety net of having the shadow as a REALLY good get out of jail card for when shit get really really scarry, so you might reconsider that if you're using a shadowless build (im not saying it wont work tho)
@@muriomoira Oh no, I want to keep Shadow for that reason in particular. It's an aspect that I'm sure it doesn't matter past a certain point, but I like to keep it open.
One of the great ironies of Sevagoth is for many of his builds, Gloom is a great thing to Helminth off.
I play him for fun because being shadow is fun. Haha glad a prime came out
The shadow playstyle is definitely fun to play
I’ve been enjoying the new mod for Sevagoth. However after a mission on the report it says I have multiple deaths even when I was successful on using the passive and not dying.
Will have a look at her eventually
I opted for energy tanking with tap cast gloom when you start to lose health utilizing nourish to not have to run equilibrium and it feels pretty good in 20-60 min SP survivals thus far
Glad I didn't forma my twitch drop sevagoth too much
Can't wait to get gloom helminth after I get his prime
Have you tried shield tanking with topaz archon shards since his 2 deals massive blast damage to regen shields?
Time to buy 10 3x forma bundles again!
RIP
Rolling Guard on the shadow even lets you Roll to have immortality, while regular Sevagoth is in his downed state. So, even if you're subsuming off the shadow, make sure you slot at least Rolling Guard on him. Primed Redirection could be helpful too to extend his shield gate.
Any other mods we can put on shadow and it's claws that will benefit a sevagoth without shadow
Was curious about this and actually just commented this question. So it is worth using forma on the shadow and claws even when subsuming his 4.
@@4meMark well, not his claws. Since the downed state version of the shadow only gets to use consume.
@@HorseStar-l4j shield regen too ig.
Aww my main frame and with his augment mod he is just a deadly captain.
Nice warframe, just got his normal version after 23 void storms, into helminth it goes.
Gloom boy
I wish there was a way to disable his passive. It is inferior compared to Last Gasp in every conceivable way and is completely unreliable in high level Steel Path missions.
Laughs in 500 forma from Plague star*
20 minutes to just say "hey guys, buy both sindicade mods, build whatever, press 2, press 1, there u have it"
"i enjoy his playstyle"
**Removes shadow for roar** 😂
Yessir
@@WarframeFlo it's ok, you dont have to like every single ability of each frame.
But it was very funny to me that you said that line while there was no 4th ability hud on the screen 😂
Well, as a sevagoth main. im pretty sure I know how good he is..considering pressing two buttons clears entire maps.
I just tried Sow and Reap on level 225 Steel Path Amalgam Alkonost Eximus in Simulacrum with 322% Strength. Possibly the strongest enemy to test against. It wiped most of them out instantly. This Warframe is more powerful than Revenant that has Reave with 382% Strength while using Roar.
Ooh! Dark Propagation turns him into a Saryn-lite.
For survivablility I’ve been using the topaz shards with shield regen on blast damage
Low Health
Low Armour
Low Shield
what you do?
Arcane Blessing + blue armour shards
Nourish on 4th then spam 2 and 1 with Augument Mod for both of em
Got the Prime cooking rn, will go for the nuke version :)
You’ll love it
„i made a poll the other day“ wasn’t that 3 months ago :(
This video was made 3 weeks ago prior to me finding out they doing sevagoth prime so I put this video on hold until he released
Hey Flow, I know this video is 2 months old but do you think it'll be better to go for Roar/Primer or Wyrd Scythes to replace his 4th since it spreads Viral?
Great video, keep it up!
Building sevagoth for gloom just feels weird. I build him for RED!!! CRITS 360 ability strength and pillage. Guaranteed death with my scythe to one tap anything that had overguard.
off meta king
Hey man, I am really enjoying you videos and i just came from the Equinox video, but could you extend the time the builds are onscreen? Ill try to take a screenshot on my phone, but theyre gone by the time i can hit the buttons. Just two or three more seconds would be great to hit the pause button and not have to move the video around to find the build after its gone.
Im loving the videos and builds though. Theyre great and I am really enjoying the videos.
Hey! Will keep this in mind! Thank you!
Pause the video?
I wonder if with the Grimoire, thr Bubonico would also work as a primary primer. Probably not nearly as well, but serviceable.
It would work because of viral priming
@@WarframeFlo I have them both and am building them so either works, but they're fun to use semi interchangeably when extra procs aren't super important.
just curious can you run catalyzing shields instead of rolling guard or would it be less efficent?
Imo there should've been an augment that disables his passive. I dont use him precisely because of his passive
I don't have Sevagoth Prime yet and subsumed my normal Sev, but I really want to try a hybrid nuke/Shadow build. My main is Divine Retribution Nezha, so a pure nuke build feels redundant to me; but I might want more power if the Shadow can't handle certain scenarios.
The relic Neo A13 has to be bugged for me almost a week and I cant get it, I only had one and that was it none what so ever
It might just be super bad luck at that point you may as well just buy the part haha
I want de to have is sow augment as his new sow ability while shadow still being able to use his sow . Wasting a lot of space for two augments.
Flo wdym by using the grimoire as a stat stick? Do you mean secondaries boost companion damage or...?
The invocation mods give you more stats for your warframe :)
Oh my, so excited to try a 6 umbral forma build on Sevagoth
huh???
@@WarframeFlo mainly a joke, tho i might get spicy and try putting 2 on him and the shadow... I do have a handful of umbral forma laying around, and a few days off so I might try having a few drinks and do some experimentation depending on my mood when I finally finish grinding out Sevagoth prime.
I enjoy Sevi sometimes. He's just too expensive to do ok stuff.
Interesting I went with a shield gating build subsuming gloom for pillage and he still nukes with armor strip
Never tried that one!
It's pretty good, you do need str from red shards
He’s quite good, I actually run him with high shields, Adaptation, Arcane Aegis, at minimum 200% strength with his Shadow Haze augment.
I haven’t played with the new augment. I don’t have any trouble clearing rooms with him. Also, blue shards are your friends as well and Arcane Battery can be amazing as you can use it to replace Flow and the extra armor or energy space making him even more capable.
My main even before he got buffed.
Now hes even better with roar on his 4th and his augments are the best
should i not level up Shadow Haze to save up forma slot? it only adds more crit chance, didn't really need it?
You reap what you sow
Poetic
Used my first Sevogoth for Helminth, and I think I'll just wait for prime access
You mean until right now?
His prime is out now!
@chaosgyro I still have to grind for it
@@cartho1103 "[W]ait for prime access" and waiting until he's in your possession are very different implications. Besides, depending on how closely you were paying attention you may not have known his prime was released for all I was aware.
So there was a inaccuracie in this video Archon Shards do work on the Shadow just not in the simulation.
Some of the shards probably dont work at all, but I know for a fact that the Topaz Shards work on him. I tired it thought it didn't work. Then took him out of the simulation, and then it was working as intended.
TLDR: Topaz Shards work on Sevagoths Shadow.
Shoupd you not still build the shadow so it's actually capable of reviving you if you die?
Yes ofcourse but you can get away with just building for survivability with a no helminth build
Ima a little disappointed you didn’t show all the mods you have set up for your explanations.
13:40
Combo counter mods do NOT work on shadow's claw, the gladiator mod will NOT do anything, Blood rush and amalgam mods dont work either
i like this video, so here's some video engagement
Thank you this really helps me!
The warframe UA-cam GOAT baby.
I really wish his newest augment leaned into something far more interesting and unique.
How the fuck will de do a gloom augment "when playing as only sevagoth" in big bold letters at the start?
@@chippler5822 What?
@@ChaosTheory0 I'm lamenting how gloom is so popular as a subsume, de is gonna have to to put "when playing as sevagoth" before the entire augment otherwise it's gonna make it even more popular for subsuming and then ignoring sevagoth and calling him bad
Galvanized Melee mods? (Steel obviously to replace True Steel*)
The devs just shouted you out on Prime time lol
the "END GAME BUILD" that you showed cant even shield gate or get rid of status effects
