As an engineer that has worked with HVAC systems, I can say that the science of ducting air is intense. Every angle, every change in elevation, every diameter greatly affects air flow. This product - as well as others - are great in helping the flow at the end. However, in this humble Airstreamer's opinion, a problem was solved that never should have existed. The "Old Corps" air conditioners that were a single unit that blew air straight within the unit (like what pop ups have) were far superior. It is why 34' triple axle Airstreams only needed 1 AC unit whereas most 25' owners now feel the need for 2. Don't duct and your airflow will be 100% improved... Rant complete. Carry on.
These look suspiciously like the cheap stainless steel Chinese knockoffs available on Amazon, upgraded with the plastic backing ring. I had initially bought the Amazon vents to save money but ended up with the nice aluminum vents from AirKrafters. They are more money but the fit and finish are substantially better. But, the original airstream vents don’t function well so anything is an improvement.
Yes they are similar to the Erpods in function. They both allow you to direct the flow in a variety of directions. However, just know that I didn’t purchase these items, they were provided to me at no cost to review. That said, in my opinion I would give the “quality” advantage to Erpods and the “price” advantage to CampAir. Depending on how you prioritize “quality vs price” will determine which is a better “value” for you. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching
If only they’d come up with something better to reduce the noise of our ‘14 Dometic AC unit. It does direct the air ok in 4 directions but oh the noise.
Hey! Hi there Rick & Lisa!! Great installation video and thank you so much for sharing the air filters with us. They are installed and work really well! Here is the link to our video that shows Jim installing them: ua-cam.com/video/5DnQ1WqnWrk/v-deo.html Thank you for the shout out too! 😊It was great hanging out with you both, safe travels! - Michelle
Thank you sir. Semper Fi.
Great video! I wish I could have seen them during the rally! Safe travels.

Thanks Rick. Was talking with Brad from 13 Adventures and said you have some golf chart confessions videos coming. Looking forward to them!
That’s funny 🤣…I am in the process of editing the video right now. Should have it completed in the coming weeks. Thanks for watching!

This is why you see some manufacturers like Alliance and Brinkley moving back to no ducting unless required
They are nice looking product.
We really like them!

Are these like the Erpods? How did the quality of the vents seem to be?
