Raising the rod keeps the lure on the surface. This is one of the hardest things to learn with a casting set-up. Appreciate it and tight lines out there!
Skipping is one of the most difficult things to do in bass fishing. So, it does take quite a bit of practice, but I’m so sure you will be able to do it very soon.
@johncaster4296 thanks for the inspiration sir, a quick question, do you "feather the spool" while you are skipping? Also i have Kastking as well, with dual brake system, should i keep them completely off?
