It’s like the eery nostalgia of hitting up the PS2 on a weekend night. After hanging out with friends at school, spending time with the family then hearing your mom say I can stay up and play the game until midnight. Will never forget the fun days I had as a kid and how fun these games were when I was a kid. It was something you had to experience: then falling asleep with the game on cause you wanted leave off where you paused. Miss those days man…
We went to the video store with our friends (we had just gotten our driver's license), rented a few movies and the latest games and spent the whole night with them. The next day we went to school totally destroyed, it was the best time.
@@marcus1428 oh yes the black circles under the eyes the day after the game sesh with the buddies. Crazy we were able to do it on very little sleep. Now I can’t even stay awake even with 6 hours of sleep HAHA.
@@mustnotfearwe still got so much to discover, even if we don’t have much time like we use to. Those days where we have off and can relax and enjoy some new games is good. I’m glad I put in the hard work all week so I can play on the weekends with my online buddies that I’ve known for well over 10 years now. Gamer for life!
I still can't quite describe it, but Silent Hill music always manages to open a portal to the past. The fact that a horror game can cause such a nostalgic impact is really fascinating. It immediately reminds me of better times in the past. Damn how I miss the 90s and early 2000s... the world has gotten so fcked up....
I use to put your music in my ears everywhere. When in the train, just to see the time passing by. When i'm sad to contemplate, when I'm happy to euphorize. Those ones are simply life-enhancer, they transform your reality
Ok, wow, this one was really, really good. I have your mixes on a playlist and the first time I heard this track was while waking up. Feeling super refreshed now :)))) You should call it 'mind defragmentation' or something like that :D:D:D
Ahh.. I truly want to become free like free will, genuine happy and have genuine love. But at the same time i need to find my purpose in life, i truly don’t know where to look.
It still sounds surreal, when people say they spend so much time with my music while working, sleeping or whatever. Thank you so much for this support! I'm very glad you enjoy my music! 🖤
wow. I happened to visit and was completely immersed in the mood and music of the video. It's been a while since I started UA-cam, but I'm getting a lot of motivation from it. I will visit often. thank you
Reminds me of the early 2000s. If it was the afternoon me and my friends would play Spiderman 2 and Fifa 2004. But in the late evening it was Silent hill for a while. We would watch the Japanese horror movie Grudge later.
I have a question, whats kind of synthetizer do you use. Which one? Been trying to recreate this style of sounds but I can't find a decent sounding plugin for my DAW to do so.
I use a couple of oldschool hardware synths like a Korg Triton Pro, Korg Wavestation, Korg M1, Roland JV1080, EMU Orbit etc. and very important for this music: oldschool sample cds from the 90s and early 2000s, which were very popular for video game composition (and other forms of media) at that time. On the software side I use a few Korg and Arturia plugins and everything is recorded in FL Studio. Hope that helps you out. ^^
Both. I use hardware synthesizers (mostly older synths like a Korg Triton Pro or Roland JV1080 and a few more), a couple of software instruments and many oldschool sample libraries from the 90s and early 2000s, which were very popular for video game composition at that time. I made a few community posts about some of the instrumentas if you're interested. ^^

That sounds really nice! 🖤
I maintain my cheerfulness by playing new games, and by coming here I maintain nostalgia for the old ones. Today I ding! 31!

I just want to feel free like at the past when i was a child. Now i have fears, responsibilities and sins. I feel like i will never be free anymore.
This reminded when I was at school…I’m 25 now but time really flies. Those desks in the dark…nostalgia.
I'm 45. I can confirm. Enjoy everything mate.

Very calming and mysterious. And no annoying drum track!😊
A very dreamy and ethereal sound. I really like the sweeping "techie" sounding effects. Thank you Midwich.

Mmm, that's perfect for sleeping, love the sounds you've made 😴😴😴

That's what I ❤🔥 about your ambience music.
Especially your Silent Hill music tracks. They feel like breathing😇
Thank you very much! That is a huge compliment 🖤
Yes, agree
Idk why but this kinda reminds me of the song in Bryan fury’s ending in Tekken 4
You’re the master of recapturing that Silent Hill magic! Seriously! I listen every day to your SH tracks
Thank you so much!

Your video will make a fine addition to my collection
Edit: yeah this is one of my favorites you’ve done. I love the drone, ah yeah thats good stuff.
You always hit my taste exactly!
And you can't imagine how many hours I've already spent listening to your music at work or while relaxing.

This songs are very liminal.
It's a sensation of fearfulness and coziness at the same time.
still tired, but something inside has changed

May I ask are you creating this sounds digitally or analogue ?

I am so glad to hear that you are using analogue hardware to create this extraterrestrial sounds. Keep up the good work ! @@midwichmusic
