- Embark on an angling adventure with us in our latest day session at Alder Pool, Woodside Lakes! Braving unpredictable weather and a challenging start, we faced the pressure of a slow day.
But, as the clouds parted, we rolled the dice, switching from solid PVA bags to zigs, and it paid off! Witness the excitement as we land a stunning low 20lb Mirror, breaking the 'blank' spell. Stay tuned as dusk falls, and we unexpectedly haul in two more mid-20s Carp. Our UA-cam channel, Dangling Days, awaits you with the full VLOG and captivating video shorts from this thrilling session. Don't miss out on the twists, turns, and triumphs on Alder Pool.

Great vlog guys and well on the captures, this venue is on my list to visit, is it a long barrow trip from the car park to the far end of the venue? cheers.
Cheers Wayne, lovely place. Rich is doing loads of work at the venue with a great stocking program in place. With the rain and mud the walk is a bit of a nightmare at the moment but that will soon clear - around 5 minute walk from Carpark I reckon!
He's getting another driveway made for Alder pool which will bring you closer to the lake later in the year.
Hope that helps

@@DANGLINGDAYS Cheers mate thanks for the info and look forward to visit there.
It's definitely worth a visit Rich the owner is always very helpful and there are some stunning Carp in there to target. As the specimen lake and Alder Pool are quite small you never feel too far away from the next Carp - good luck and let us know how you get on if you do go.
Cheers and yes i will let know how i get on@@DANGLINGDAYS
