    I’m only 23 minutes in but I want to say THANK YOU!!! I haven’t found a video yet that properly shows how to make a lure cup. I have so many fishermen in my life and I have made such a mess trying to make these cups 😩 My hubby has had to “buzz down” a bunch because I’m all over the place. Again....thank you for sharing this video and your wisdom ♥️♥️♥️

    I have a Q about epoxy/resin safety. I know that when you're working with it it's important to have good ventilation (open window and fan) when you mix and apply it, but once you are finished applying and the remaining is disposed of, as long as a fan is on would it be safe to leave it on the spinner in a room w/a closed door and a fan for the curing period?

    Hi just wondering. Is there a reason you don’t put your decals on before you epoxy the first time? Does it not stick well to the spray paint/clear coat? Wasn’t sure if that saves epoxy only having to do it once?

    • @back2basicsmomplj857
      @back2basicsmomplj857  4 роки тому

      Itcisxa personal choice. You can butI do not recommend it because If you need to move your decal it can pull off the paint. Also the paint is not often smooth with this technique and the decals would not adhere well. Tis can cause them to lift when applying epoxy. I also feel it gives an almost 3d effect to the decals when epoxy is underneath.

    After the New Year I'm going to try my hand at making tumblers. Not as a business, just a hobby. 2 Q's; would a respirator mask w/a fan set up in an open window be good for ventilation, & is there a special type of glitter to use when making tumblers w/epoxy? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for the videos!

      The most important thing is how much heat your torch puts out. With the blow torches it depends on the gas. The camping canisters are best but the blue will be OK if that is all you have. Just remember to keep your flame small and stay 6 inches away. Basically it is the co2 that pops the bubbles not the heat. You can scorch your epoxy so it takes a pit of practice.
