Booktube is all about sharing the joy of reading - so don't push so hard it takes away the love! Enjoy your trip, soak it all in, fingers crossed you get the best weather!
Sounds like you have an exciting month ahead of you! I like that you always talk about books that are a bit under the radar (at least, I haven't heard of some of these), can't wait to hear your thoughts on all of them! And I hope you have a lovely trip to Ireland!! Enjoy 😍
Hope you enjoy your stay in Ireland. So far in July I've read/finished *Fantasy* The Black Company - Glen Cook *Horror* I Am Legend - Richard Matheson - I read this in 1 sitting, so good! Song of Kali - Dan Simmons - kinda underwhelmed. Currently reading: *Fantasy* To Ride Hell's Chasm - Janny Wurts *Horror* Rosemary's Baby - Ira Levin *Sci-Fi* Left Hand of Darkness - Ursula LeGuin
That’s a lot in two days! Black company and I am Legend I want to read. Maybe next year. Haven’t beard of the song of Kali before I’ve heard of the other three as well Janney Wurtz I’ve only heard about recently as she has been going around Booktube.
@@PonderingsOfPete yeah Wurts is popping off on booktube since Philip Chase and A Critical Dragon announced their read along now I'm hearing more and more about her work.
Have a safe journey and a wonderful trip! 1) I'm totally not speechless by this monthly TBR which includes Books of Jacob, 2 Robin Hobb, 1.5(?) Ken Liu Books AND an international trip. 2) I really enjoyed the 2 Dandelion liveshow discussions. Any plans for a series review once you're finished? You know, asking for a 'friend' who's read 1 and 2 but is on the fence about 3. 3) After being defeated by Books of Jacob 150 pages in, I refused to back down and ahem, started Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel (2nd try) as a more 'accessible' practice read before returning to Jacob (thinking English names would be easier). So the book has a bajillion characters, many of them are called Thomas and the author loves using 'he' all the time without indicating which person (many with same names) is being referred to. Not crying or regretting this at all. Maybe I should quit reading? I'm fine. Totally not having an existential crisis while Thomas 1 and Thomas 2 argue it out.🙂 Happy reading! I've never been to Ireland so some pictures would be great but it's completely your decision.🙂
1) with my previous track record, finishing is unlikely, but possible. 2)i will definitely be doing a series review at the end and we’ll do a book 3/4 live show when we all get done too 3) that’s a lot of Thomases. Why would the author do that? I think I’ll definitely do some sort of vlog. We’ll see how it turns out
@@PonderingsOfPete 1) Yes you can! 2) That's great to hear 🙂 3) To torture readers like me? I don't know, I'm lost. Reading slump coming at full speed.
Hi 👋 have a safe trip for ur holiday!! Happy reading to you!! 🦋🎼
Thanks! Hoping to get lots done
July will be better. Trip will help!
I love how you have your books stacked and organized.
Thanks! Controlled chaos is the best!
@@PonderingsOfPete I am a fan organized chaos.
Ooooo psyched for War Master’s Gate! I might have to put Machineries of Empire on the tbr if you like this next one too
You should totally do it. For sure gonna pop out a review of Raven as well. Gotta get through Mad Ship First though....

I LOVE THAT BOUNTY HUNTER BOOK
Currently on the Dengar story and so far they’re refreshing
I pushed WarMaster's Gate and The Shadow Throne to July as well.

Finishing a series *so far*. But hey, still a win!
Still a win, for certain
