Hi, Julian - great review! Have you tried to film with the phone horizontally attached to this gimbal, when let say wireless mic receiver attached to it? Or may be mic receiver attached to phone from one side and lens or ND filter on the other side? Could the gimbal stand this and work correctly ?
Really nice, thanks for all the info. I use a gimbal, but the carrying case is not made for hiking with a camera bag. I've already destroyed three ZHIYUN Smooth-5S so far and if I look at this one it will have the same issue, right?
Hi, they sent me here to ask for help, hopefully you can point me in the right direction. I was looking for a gimbal for a Samsung s24 Ultra, but I'm a bit of a privacy guy, so they tell me the Osmo Mobile 6 requires an app, and even worse a DJI account, to function correctly. Furthermore, they say it's limited to the 10x zoom, while I use my phone for plane spotting up to 100x . So could you suggest me an alternative with the same stabilization performance (and zoom wheel on the handle), that works without additional apps? Thanks.
@@bctaylor46 I looked on their website but couldn't see anything that looked like a mic attachment. I imagine you could squeeze a 90° USB cable between the phone and the motor and still get it to balance, but it would be nice to confirm that before you buy one!
@@cinematicsensations219you only buy the best?? Hmmm.. that is how you explain why your zhiyun is better than this product.. maybe you should tone it way down to “I only buy mediocre”
Another reviewer said an adjustment can be made with the balancing I order to provide room for a wireless receiver. Is this true? If so can you show it?
I think that maybe a 90° usb c or lightning extentder could give a solution to that, and then holding the reciever to the gimbal with a clamp or other creative way. I'm new to videofilming and has an m6 with s23 ultra, case and a mic and it works fine, but the phones is close to the end and it's kinda weird. I think I might listen to my suggestion and get one too😂

If you put the gimbal into the carrying case i cannot imagine it will be destoyed in any way shape or form
@@smartphonefilmmakingpro Okay, thanks!

So a 180 Degree Angle USB C Adapter wouldn't work with Lark m2?
I bought a 90° right angle usbc to usbc adapter off Amazon to use my external mic and charge my phone while using.
awesome! should help with this one as well!
Can this work with the Lexar SSD Go for pro res shooting.
should be no problem! Payload is massive!
can I use it with a Small Rig Cage for a 15 pro?
Is that bellow 500 grams? Might be too heavy
🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ why on earth would u do such a thing?

Change bro😂
Gift it to me😢😂🎉
I dont see much space to attach a wireless mic like the DJI mini transmitter
yeah I talk about it in the video - this might be the only downside!
If you look on the website they have some type of attachment to it

I am using the ZHIYUN Smooth-5S and its even better!

Bruh, cant wait to see the MT7 💀
will be wild!
I was thinking the M7 was the best in the market UNTIL...
You mentioned landscape filming with an external mic. This is a game changing fault!
Another reviewer said an adjustment can be made with the balancing I order to provide room for a wireless receiver. Is this true? If so can you show it?
You can definitely make it work.. it just depends on the phone you have and the wireless transmitter..

@@yaelgro1981 Shayne Mostyn has a short video showing how wireless receivers can be accommodated by rebakancing the gimbal.
nice job - this might help you with adding the microphone! Also with shooting with blackmagic pro res app - ua-cam.com/video/gLvXEBXQ3hY/v-deo.html
